Could be. They did the same thing with Tangled (which, though funny, all the previews I remember seeing made it out to be funnier/more of a kids' film than it actually was).

For some reason, the one foreign trailer I remember seeing for Frozen (Japanese, I think) focused more on its story than the ones we see over here. Weird.

then again i watch shows and movies for little kids what do i know
