"It is fine....what is worrying you? I think that is why your head hurts" He said

"That's not it." said Twilight. The headache shot back then and she crumpled to the ground in pain.

His eyes widened

"TWILIGHT!!" he yelled, going up to her, comforting her

Twilight whimpers in pain.
"My medication. I need it. It's in my jacket pocket. Please...get it."

"Where did you leave your jacket?" he asked quickly

"At the HQ." Twilight whimpers again, pain shooting into her head.

Leo sighed.

As they walked, Viron went to scout ahead, but didn't return.

Shana looked around and called his name, but he never replied.
"Something's wrong." she said.

"Viron?" Shadow called.

Kanade looked around with a worried expression.

Suddenly there was a yell of help that sounded like Viron, then there was silence.

Shadow ran ahead.

Leo yawned and rested his back against a tree.

Kanade ran with Shadow. Viron lay motionless with a dagger in his shoulder. Kanade was surprisingly calm as she bent down at Viron's side.

Shana hid behind Shadow in fright.
"He was ambushed." she whispered.

He then lets his other self take over and he sprints to the hq

Shadow looked in the trees

Leo soon fell asleep.

Shana shook her head as Kanade tried to heal Viron's wound.
"There." she whispered, pointing to the bushes.

Twilight still lay on the ground. The curse always got worse every year. Every time it happened, it drove her crazy with pain, and she sometimes yelled things.

Shadow slowly crept to the bushes

There was a rustling sound as the people in the bushes ran off.

As Viron recovered, he saw Shadow walking toward the bushes and his widened.
"No. There's a net trap there..." He moaned.

Shadow took another step " Huh?" He said.

"Don't take another step. There's a trap." Said Viron.

Shadow stopped.

Viron sighed.
"I got ambushed. It was unfair. Five to one." He groaned. There was rope tightly bound around his ankle.

"Okay." Shadow said.

Shana burnt the rope off Viron's ankle.

"I realize now. It was my old gang." Moaned Viron.

"What?" Shadow asked.

"My old gang ambushed me. I was in a gang that used me until Kanade found me." Said Viron.

Viron nodded and got to his feet slowly.
"Let's keep going."

"You okay?" Shadow asked.

Viron nods.
"Yeah. I'll be fine. Kanade took care of the wound." he said.

Kanade flapped her white wings and jumped into the air.
"I think aerial view will be safer for scouting for now." she said and Viron nodded.

Shadow began to walk.

Tyr knocked one off, "What's this about lives?"

Sango winced as a Snaggleclaw took out Dark and she turned to Tyr.
"Dark and his sister, their kind has three lives. Twilight has all three, but Dark is reckless. Now that that Snaggleclaw got him, he's got one life." she said.

Viron trailed behind and Kanade scanned the road ahead. It soon got late.
"We should camp here." said Viron as Kanade landed.

"Okay." Shadow said nodding


Leo woke up and yawned he got up and walked.

Shana was out cold fast and Kanade drifted off more slowly.

Viron cautiously went to find firewood.

Shadow sat on a log


Leo marched through the forest.

Tyr, "So he's got a normal life now."

The last two Snaggleclaw's ran off and Sango looked at Dark as he got to his feet painfully, the wound healed.
"I've always had a normal life. My life was just times three because of being a Pegacat." Dark said.

Viron returned with wood.

Shana heard a rustle and snuck off with no one seeing her.

Tyr, "I mean you are now mortal, just like us. We stay dead, so you probably want to move a little more."

Dark nods in understanding.

Shadow yawned

Leo walked looking bored.

As Viron starts the fire, Shana calls Shadow's name.

"Shadow!!! I'm stuck! I need help!" she cried.

Shadow dashed to where he heard Shana.

Shana was in a net trap that she hadn't seen. She sat up in the net int a tree with arms folded.
"I learned my lesson about running off without telling you. Can you get me down?" she said.

"I can try." Shadow said.

"The rope's over there." said Shana pointing to the rope connected to the net. "Don't set me down down softly. I deserve some kind of discipline."

Tyr smiles and pats Dark on the back. Tyr looks at Sango, "This ones a keeper here,"

Shadow tugged the rope.

Sango laughs and smiles.
"He's my boyfriend. Even if he's reckless and childish."

Shana shakes her head and pulls a dagger from her jacket.
"You have to cut the rope. Here." she says, throwing the dagger in the ground next to Shadow.

Shadow quickly cut the rope.

The rope snapped and the net hit the ground. Shana climbed out of it and ran and gave Shadow a hug.
"Thanks big brother. I promise I'll tell you if I'm ever going to leave again. I'm sorry."
