Found Hot Head today! I went to look at Target, and they didn't have him back by the electronics. I went over to the Christmas stuff and I'm glad I went just a bit farther down before heading out. Hot Head was sitting on the end of an aisle on top of some crackers!

My conformation reciept says light core chill and the picture of the character is not regular chill. The sword is vertical. Also looks like the outfit is different. We will see. If not ill just get money back.

Hey guys! Long time Spyro fan here. Just got into Skylanders about a week ago. After doing a bunch of research online, I decided to buy Spyro's Adventure first; one, because I have a thing for playing games chronologically. I wanted to start at the very beginning and experience everything from scratch rather than jumping in the middle of the series. And 2, because I wanted to try and focus on buying the 8 older figures who haven't got re designs because I know they will be tough to find. (I also heard the Portal of Power was cooler than the one that came with Giants, but that's just a minor point.) The figures I have so far are Spyro, Trigger Happy, Gill Grunt, Prism Break, Boomer, Voodood, Legendary Trigger Happy, Wham Shell, and Legendary Bouncer (just cuz.) I have been absolutely loving the game so far! I can't wait to expand my collection and level up as many as I can. However, lately I've been feeling a tad bit of buyers remorse because I've started to think maybe I made the wrong purchase? It seems as if the few series 1 figures I have who have remakes are obsolete, and I should have just gotten Giants instead. Slightly bummed that when I get Giants next month that the Spyro I'm leveling won't have the extra Wow-Pow and an alt. upgrade path, (but at least I can level him to 15 which is awesome.) I mean either way, my original intent was to play SA first to get a taste and focus on collecting the 8 guys that aren't getting remade, which I am doing, but now I feel I should have just gotten Giants and got SA at a later date. Do you fellow Portal Masters feel as if I made a bad decision? Or is there nothing wrong with what I did? I'm really loving this game, but I kind of feel as if I didn't take the best course of action. Thoughts?

Yes just go to the thread titled something about the gold flameslinger only being found on kindle and there is a link to it in a comment down the page a bit

This is actually why a lot of the time I ask customers "are you after anything specific?" when I see folks looking. Sadly we sold out of Hot Heads quickly after I'd gotten mine

In other news, picked up Gold Flamslinger, S2 Gill Runt and S2 Drill Sarge. Yeah I finally broke down and decided to get S2's as well, so sue me.

I'll get s2s once I have majority of new ones.

Ordered the Gold Flameslinger last night!

Flashwing arrived!
I feel like a ditz though, 'cause when it said online that the package had arrived I was confused because there was no box on my doorstep. Usually they over-package them and put them in a much bigger box from TRU. It wasn't until the next day, after calling the post office to inqure, that we actually checked the mail, and discovered they had put it in a a bubble-wrap lined envelope and crammed it into the mailbox.

Worth it for me since I missed the Frito giveaway, and I really wanted this figure. My friend is throwing me 40 bucks for writing a paper for him, so I thought why not splurge on a Skylander I really want haha

What Hot Head is AWESOME! I've been looking everywhere for him! Every Walmart , Target, and GameStop 100 miles from my house are sold out! Haven't checked toysrus or best buy though. Gotta call them tomarrow, I need MEH Hot Head!

haha he does, but seriously though. Hot Head is definitely amazing. It's the first character in a long time that I actually had trouble deciding the path because both are incredible.

What I'm doing is I bought giants cause I wanted to get a game a release date and happened to have enough money. xD So I'm buying the old triple packs off eBay as they tend to be cheaper than the giants triple packs. Also I'm buying the new 8 characters and 8 giants to have a "complete" set, the original 32 plus 8 new landers and 8 giants. I'm also asking for the S:SA Xbox bundle for Christmas ad I don't have either. So you are doing the smart thing buying the old figures first.

Plus I bought Hot Head off best buy.com with free shipping, can't wait!
