Maybe it's me and I do not want to come off at that debby downer of a cow. But I really do not see the hype for PS5 except for like about 2-3 games I am looking forward to that are pretty much built for it.

Then again it's me going "It's only backwards compatible with PS4 and I have Crash 4 for PS4" and having a fair decently low standards... Or at least will deal with the supposed "bad stuff" like 30FPS. Then again it's probably me being out of the loop and being hyped for other things.

Everything is delayed, barely anything interesting happen in 2020 so PS5 become a massive deal as the start of a new generation of console.

I’m the same way. Miles Morales, Assassin’s Creed, and Watch Dogs are on the PS4 too, so why should I bother getting a PS5 until more stuff comes out? Of the launch lineup, only Bugsnax and Demons Souls actually interest me, but I’m not getting a whole new machine to play ****in Bugsnax and a remaster and Persona 5 for the 800th time.

They can call me when a full Spidey sequel (as hype as I am for Miles Morales) or Persona 6 or a Metal Gear Collection/Remaster are on the way.

i'm happy for everyone who's excited, but i'm personally not super invested in ps5 quite yet. who knows, maybe that'll change.

i just can't get over how it's really pushing for the inevitable end of physical game discs. perhaps i'll be more invested if/when a game comes out for it that really piques my interest.

i've known that it's been coming for a long time, but it really hit me hard how close it is when they announced a version of the ps5 with no disc compatability

Night in the Woods is really good so far, glad I wasn't spoiled on any plot details.

Digital games allow indie developers to actual release games too. Digital sales are only getting higher and higher plus they're always on sale compared to physical. I prefer having a physical copy myself but digital is the superior platform.

I'm so happy I adopted Juliet, she has really gotten me through 2020. I love Romeo but he just lays around the house and throws up, she makes life more interesting, even if it's through annoyingly bratty methods.

Considering how many times something went wrong with digital for me. Ya'll either need to do a cleaner job of making digital **** more permanent presence other than like "if you have your account and login ya should be good". Like shoot the many times I had to reinstall steam because it ****ed up is kind of too many times to count.

At least with physical copies I can still say I have the game and it still works (for the most part). As well as someone would have to ****ing break in or steal my copy rather than a 3rd party big mess up.

This is mostly coming from a person that has reinstalled Spore on multiple computers... Even tho I snagged the $10 for all Steam deal sale.

in my line of customer service the people i tend to have the most trouble with are middle-aged and elderly white dudes

True, it's just that most of them are around that age. Funnily enough some of my sweetest costumers were around that age too. You either got a Karen or a sweet mother that just spread good vibes. Young people tend to just pay and leave, if there's a problem they pretty much just go "Ah I misunderstood". Like there's some awareness of what Costumer Service have to put up with some discomfort and they don't want to add to that. And kids....they're just awkward lol

But yeah, anyone in general can be rude. The idea of "Costumer is always right" can give a sense of power over the employee, leading that "rudeness" to come out easily.

let's say there's this guy, we'll call him a guy, is holding other users hostage.

if the rp goes in a direction a guy doesn't like, he threatens to leave the rp. but everyone involved agrees he's too important of a member, so no matter what, they stay by him. it's horrible and manipulative and i hope they realize that a guy isn't worth it.

but that's just a theory. absolutely not happening in the only active rp on the site.

Top selling games this year are Call of Duty: Killbox (players take turns spawning inside a kill box and see how many milliseconds they can survive) and Assassin's Creed: Prehistoric (main character is a pterodactyl that swoops down and slices brontosaurus necks with steel edges wings).

I hop in my Nintendo VR pod. This drops you into a virtual world typically indistinguishable from the real world - aside from the pterodactyls of course!

My friends want me to join them for a round of spawn kills and while I love the thrill of feeling my body riddled with bullets, I have a hankering to play my favorite game - Pokemon. Pokemon Scissors 2 and Pokemon Paper 2 are huge improvements over the original paper and scissor games.

It's been a while since I played last so I decide to start a new game

After a 6 hour intro explaining what a Pokemon is, I'm off on my journey. Professor Oak hands me a Bulbasaur and sends me off on a journey through the Kanto region. Nothing like 7 Kanto region games in a row! My dad tells me when he was a kid he was actually able to choose his starter but in order to make the game easier for today's audience you don't even have to make a choice!

The VR world around me is slightly pixelated - the Pokemon games don't have the same quality of graphics as most virtual world's, but compared to last months release, the graphics are definitely marginally improved!

Luckily the graphics and realism aren't the most important part of a Pokemon adventure. The story and Pokemon I can capture are where the real fun is. Luckily I don't have to walk for real like most games - in order to simplify the game further, they recently removed the map markers indicating where I should walk and they just push my character in the right direction and I'm free to watch the Pokemon around me.

Luckily the game starts you off with 25 master balls - the exact number you need to catch the 9 new Pokemon this generation added and the 15 special forms of Pikachu. My favorite is Pikachu wearing a meowth costume. I'm not really sure what a meowth is since he was cut from the dex around 15 years ago but the oversized costume is adorable on Pikachu.

Cutting the entire Dex down to 25 Pokemon really allowed the designers to focus on amazing animations for the Pokemon we do get. As I float through the kanto region, Pokemon glide around. My Bulbasaur can't follow me but even better, I can have a slumber party with him and he has a new animation where he blinks twice instead of once. Sometimes he even falls asleep - his eyes don't close but z's float above his head so I know.

Ah! My first rival battle. My rival is my mother, and she cheers me on during the whole battle against her unhatched egg. A lot of people found battling actual Pokemon slightly difficult so most battles are against eggs now. Sometimes that feels a little too easy but gym leaders all have one adorable baby Pokemon to go along with their team of eggs. I love wondering what their eggs would hatch into if they were able to have real Pokemon. With such an amazing roster of Pokemon it's almost impossible to guess which Pikachu form might hatch.

I managed to beat my mom! Now one of my favorite parts - a 24 hour cut scenes where she walks me through the entire game! She even battled the elite 4 for me! I love Lance's dragon costume Pikachu!
