"Give up already, Bramble! You know I'm stronger!" snapped Nana. She grabbed Bramble by the sides of his head, landing hard on his back and forcing him into the ground. All of her claws sunk deep into his skin, blood dribbling out.
"I can make you do what I want. I can kill you any way I want! Be nice and I'll make it less painful." she cackled. She pulled hard at his skull, claws digging into his cheeks.
Bramble cried out in pain, "Nana!! Stop! Stop!"
Nana refused to listen, grabbing hold of his jaw with her right fore paw and continuing to pull back. Bramble screamed in agony, unable to find it within himself to use any element. Nana's Blood element stopped him. The enraged dragoness laughed at his screams of pain.
"Again! Again! Let me hear your hollow pleas!" she roared, laughing. A cracking was heard. The flesh on his neck began to tear, blood gushing out. Nana laughed harder, eyes flashing in a pulse of red light. The blood poured out more quickly, like a brook was flowing from Bramble's neck. Bramble stopped squirming, but continued to scream. Nana pulled back in a hard and final yank.
Nana was sent flying backwards by her own pull, landing hard on her back a few yards from Bramble's body. The sound of bones rattling against the cave floor came from next to her. She still held something in her claws. After a moment, she lifted this item up.
Bramble's head is what she clutched. She held it by the horn. His well-bloodied head. His jaw hung from a small band of muscle, ready to drop to the floor at any moment. His tongue swung lifelessly as Nana yanked something towards her. Whatever it was, it came with the head. His spine, still attached to the head, scraped against the stone as Nana dragged it over to look at it.Revenge had such a sweet flavor.
