Here, lemme explain.
As you probably know, mountains aren't alone. There are several mountains nearby. One happens to have a crap-load of Acranines on it. Their leader comes down each month and tries to take the neighboring mountains. Spotty's mountain is usually the first one to be invaded. So, she has to run down there and beat the sh-t out of them to get them off her land. If she doesn't, they hunt here, they nearly kill her, and leave their scent markers. They come down the next month, rinse and repeat.
I dunno if she's gonna be able to drive them out, though. I mean, she's kind of still upset about Stripes and such ......
