I think Gills was either deconfirmed or set for S2 with Flynn. It was with the deleted tweets waaay back. Hot Dog is unfortunately deconfirmed.

I don't see any problem with Jet-Vac being trans. It's just an attribute he may or may not happen to have.

Eric wasn't joking. It's how he sees Jet-Vac, but it will never go beyond that. It won't affect the story in any way, because it's never going to be mentioned out loud. If he was joking he would have been more sarcastic and wouldn't continue to talk about it with the fans.

I'll just go with 'it's a cartoon' and not really care about the headcanon. It's not wrong in any way, but it makes no sense for the character, it's not like we're talking about Mysticat or similar. JV's gag is implied multiple times to be G-rated IBS, which is a whole lot of other problems about why this gag shouldn't be used to begin with that have nothing to do with the gender.

I agree Mysticat would make more sense since he was voice by a female voice actress which is quite interesting TBH. ( I'm not 100% sure if he was voiced by a female I just read it on wikia so it might not be true )

I could get behind it with Mysticat, as he has a female voice. But Jet Vac? No. He's a grizzly soldier that appears to be at least somewhat older than the other Skylanders. I HIGHLY doubt it. I know Eric "said it" but it doesn't even make any sense and I really hope it now isn't treated as "canon". Just because he laid an egg doesn't mean anything. We don't know how Sky Barons' reproductive systems work, so who are we to judge?

But with JV, identity issues are nothing that would compliment the character. As far as we know, he was one of the first Academy cadets, went through some issue we'll probably learn in this season, became a teacher and spent decades doing normal Skylander and teacher stuff with little issue until Team Spyro came by. Having a supposedly boring life to the point he entertains himself with a manual doesn't seem like the result of having gone through anything; and yes, he CAN be still pre-op even without the character to support because people can be varied, but as something the show can bring up and use, not really. Maybe just do like Erica from Catherine and keep that to a profile and some throwaway lines.

JV says a few times that it's a "*TOTALLY* normal reaction to a situation like this" which implies that it's nothing normal for them either.

Consider this; have we ever SEEN the egg hatch?

edit: More new news, Grey DeLisle is back from the main games to voice Chill and a new character(can't be Ninjini as he already revealed her). Which is an odd choice since that's Smolderdash, but Chill's actual VA seems to be a bit more obscure.
