Got Robin, Lucina, Charizard, Jiggly, Greninja, Silver Mario, Pac-Man andmy pre-ordered Marth from the TRU messup back in Novemeber that I'm going to give away. Got Wario, Ness and the Splatoon 3-pack coming in from pre-orders.

I have every amiibo and paid retail (or less) for every single one of them. Yay.

How so? It seems to me, aside from a few isolated incidents, retailers have really learned from previous amiibo launches and have done a great job today. They've had plans in place, fairly well communicated (although Target's purchase limits could have been addressed better), and I've read few complains about how retailers have been handling things.

They need to focus more on obtaining extra stock before putting them up, or put them up in waves instead of all at once.

"Obtaining extra stock"? Really? You're going to fault the retailers for not "obtaining extra stock"?

And seriously, when your entire stock sells out in 15 seconds, there's no use trying that in waves.

Retailers are getting the short end of the stick from Nintendo - they deserve props for doing what they can with limited quantities. Your lack of planning isn't their fault.

Went into Target about 10min after they opened. They had sold out of Robin, Lucina, & Charizard, not surprising, and not big deal as I do have Robin & Lucina pre-ordered. Managed to snag a Inkling Boy & Jigglypuff.

When I went they had all of the new Amiibo behind the Electronics counter and you had to tell the guy which you wanted. I saw they still had...
2-3 of each Inkling (no triples)
3-4 of Wario & Pac-Man each
About 10 Jigglypuffs
2 Silver Mario

Okay guys what can i do to get lucina? Ive heard she will be hard to find. Tommorow i will be checking places like Kmart and Mijjer(idk how to spell it at the moment) Hardly anybody goes to those stores. And if i dont find her what doi do then?

I have been contemplating how to give away the extra Marth I scored via my TRU oopsie today and I think I figured it out. I think I'll host a canned food/packaged paper product drive. A raffle ticket for each canned good/packaged paper product and we'll draw out tickets for winners, including a Marth prize. :D

Lots of people go to K-Mart and Meijer for amiibo. Honestly, if you couldn't get her today, good luck. You might not find her tomorrow.

Personally I'm just trying to get the F.E. characters and it was a mess today. One Target had 200+ people waiting outside before opening...they only had 60 figures total. Only Gamestop and Target had Lucina and Robyn. The ones that got them received very small numbers. One Target got 3 of each and the Gamestop's that had them had one of each. I wasn't able to get anything today and I checked 8 stores...Never had to do that with Skylanders or Infinity. This is so stupid lol. I really want them (only paying MSRP) but with Star Wars Infinity, Sky 5 and Lego Dimensions my money is simply going to be spent on things I can get and will have no problem doing so. If Nintendo wants to play this crappy game they seem to love to play, it's just going to alienate a good portion of fans that will ultimately say "F" it and move on.

The release schedule for the Lucina amiibo is a confusing mess. Was it April 24th? May 29th? There's a few on Amazon but they're too expensive and both GAME and GameStop never had any in stock to begin with. It's like whenever Konami releases a game that isn't called Metal Gear.

It was April 24th in Europe (along with Ness, Robin, Pac-Man, Wario, and Charizard), and May 29th in the US.

Japan is getting a Chibi Robo amiibo for the new upcoming game of the same name.

Considering they announced a new Mario & Sonic Olympics game, I'm gonna bet a new wave of Super Mario Amiibos maybe containing Wario, DK, Rosalina, Waluigi, and Daisy might show up at E3, along with a Sonic the Hedgehog Amiibo line being announced. It's too perfect, and would really drive sales for a game that many are a little on the fence about (myself included).
