OOC: OK, thanks.
Name: Ms. Bridgett K. Espinoza Age: 42 Gender: Female Grade: 10-12th Grade Biology and Chemistry Personality: Ms. E is peppy and always has an ecstatic demeanor about her. She seems to never show strong negative emotions, although a swift change in atmosphere will let you know if she caught you sneaking that naughty note to the student beside you. She's overly-friendly, especially to the point of being personal, persistent in teasing information out of students and staff alike. And speaking of teasing, she had no qualms with irritating and/or embarrassing others. Many question her overall sanity. She takes her work very seriously, but always with a lighthearted outlook, often making the subject she teaches half enjoyable. Appearance: Hispanic, 5'6 feet, and has a build a little on the thinner side. She has curly brown hair, and dark brown eyes. She always goes "all out" with her accessories, painting her nails some bizarre pattern and wearing earrings that look like they should be chaffing the sides of her face. Typically wears bell bottom jeans, high heels and geeky t-shirts reflecting her interest in science fiction (because, y'know, that's obligatory). She's always seen with a smile, whether it be sincere, concealing a warning, or just plain creepy. She walks with brisk steps and has well managed posture. Other: She's single with a 24-year-old daughter who lives away. She had a divorce with her husband three years ago. Real Name: Mortamorphi "Morph" Mitosm Alias: Mordecai "Mort" Stuart Age: His alias is 15. He himself is actually 24 Earth years, which makes him in his "forties", as male Kwuerks have a typical lifespan of 50-60 years Gender: Male Occupation: Student Grade: 10th Faction: Galactic Order Personality: Morph plays himself off as a standard "tough guy"; he's generally known as a gruff, moody character, who's rough around the edges and rather temperamental. He generally makes blunt or snarky comments when having a conversation in a work environment. On the job, he's focused, attentive, and inquisitive. He's observant and has a great attention to detail. He frequently evades social interaction, unless he's either forced to work with someone through work or has the opportunity to be with a genuine friend (who he probably had been forced to work with in the past, ironically enough). Those who manage to sneak past the walls he puts up around himself will find that he's actually very insecure and uncertain of himself. He becomes nervous and shy when in uncomfortable situations, and it seems that the slightest provocation will embarrass him. Failure and the subsequent humiliation is what he fears more than anything. With the few people he's comfortable around, he's jokey and playful, yet nurturing and loving, his insecurities being set on the back burner for the most part. Overall, he's a closeted sweetheart, and it wouldn't take a genius to see that. His credentials openly say that he had been banished from his homesystem for "treason against the Matriarchy", as well as a few nasty things from a difficult start with the Order. Opinion on Humans: Rather than apathy or outright disgust, he's simply disappointed that they had not improved in their morale after the level of development they have reached. He feels genuine concern for their well-being, but is determined to put aside his opinions for the Order, and by extension-- he feels-- for the safety of the galaxy. True Appearance: Short and extremely stocky, around 4'4 feet, with a compact muscle-fat body type. His bulky arms make him appear to have a rectangular build, but his torso actually has more of a pear-like shape due to his short, shallow chest. He has grey, velvety skin, with a pair of stumpy legs and arms. His face is wide and oval-shaped, the each side of his head having two black, fleshy points, and the lower halve mostly consisting of his cheeks. He has two large, intense green eyes with slit pupils and black eyelids. Two muscles above his eyes act like eyebrows. He has two rows of tiny, sharp, obsidian black teeth. A single antenna, which looks like a rubbery extension, curves over his face and then backwards, the tip fading to black and ending with bright green, feathery fur. He has a thin, flexible tail with similar properties. His hands and feet are thick and fleshy, and have three prehensile digits, one being a thumb on each hand. He has no nose. His antenna hairs act as his sense of smell, picking up particles in the air. The fleshy points at the sides of his head act as ears and whiskers, picking up sound vibrations and keeping his balance, and also emote. His species are capable of bipedal and quadrupedal locomotion, and switch between the two depending on the situation. Morph possesses a rare form of gigantism that makes him bigger, stronger, and taller than other males of his kind, with generally superior physical stats in comparison, and without the health issues that typically comes with such a thing in his kind. Human Appearance: He appears to be a short, stocky, Caucasian adolescent, standing at 5'2, with light green eyes, freckled skin, and a curly mess of red hair. His disguise uses a combination of light illusions and physical components, depending on the situation. His hair is a wig that prevents one from noticing his antenna by touch. He possess mechanical hand extenders that give him the proper amount of digits, as well as leg extenders to give him extra height (and that he also hasn't totally adjusted to, thus hampering his balance and stealth). He wears pieces of skin suit over his extensions, and (grudgingly) over his face. He typically wears simple turtleneck sweaters, loose-fitting jeans, and tennis shoes. He prefers the color green, and his wardrobe reflects this. Other: Morph has very cat-like mannerisms, such as hissing with hair standing on end when provoked. His skill set as an Order agent includes stealth, hand-to-hand and ranged combat, and "professional kidnapping". He also has great pain tolerance and physical resilience. Quickly becomes winded and overheated, as Kwuerks are designed for cooler weather and less activity. EDIT: So, I've changed Morph's personality a considerable amount and edited all of my old posts prior to the first timeskip. Here's to hoping that this is the finalization of his character, and I won't have to make any more alterations of this post in the future. Plus, have an update on Ms. E. |

Zurgon had grown tired of the class, he wasn't learning anything yet, his teacher sucked, and the girl he was trying to talk to didn't seem as friendly as he had hoped, Maybe he wasn't cut out for this mission...
Mr. Normandy had already trailed off into some long, boring story about his childhood, by looking around the class you could see that most of the students were either texting, talking, or sleeping. The class dragged on and Zurgon had learned nothing of importance.

Syndral sighed, and considered her potential friendship or experimentation with Zurgon to be terminated. She obviously had not held her act together well enough, and needed to improve her social skills. Oh well. There were surely other idiotic humans to interact with. So she ignored Zurgon and the boring teacher while she read her own personal novel and waited for class to be over.

8:00 – School begins 8:00-8:15 – Attendance/Breakfast 8:15-9:00 – Subject 1 (English - Mr. Normandy) 9:00-9:45 – Subject 2 (Science - Miss Espinoza) 9:45-10:30 – Subject 3 (Math - Mr. White) 10:30-11:15 – Gym/Art (Gym: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays. Art: Tuesdays and Thursdays.) 11:15-11:45 – Lunch 11:45-12:30 – Subject 4 (History - Mrs. Moore) 12:30-1:15 – Subject 5 (Spanish) 1:15-2:00 – Elective Class (Psychology) 2:00-2:45 – Study Hall 2:45-3:00 – Dismissal -- Morph wasn't particularly interested in the teacher's life story, and instead drew his attention to the students in the classroom. He reached to scratch his head, his fingers crawling through his rusty, coiling hair. The humans' body odor, pencil shavings, and musty books wafted through his antenna hairs; his wig was specialized to allow him to pick up scent. Unfortunately, the wig itself was hard to adjust to. He generally didn't wear head gear that had so much... texture. While Morph-- undercover as a human adolescent-- tried to ease his screaming skin nerves, he noticed a pale, black-clad girl sitting in the desk in front of his, conversing with another. The Order was very secretive with information, even with their own agents, as to keep confidentiality at maximum. Despite this, the body shape, demeanor, and scent all pointed to Syndral. He had been assigned with her to a mission a long time ago, and by the end of it, they were on good terms. It was nice to have someone familiar along with a risky mission such as this. However, he had yet to be sure that it was, indeed, her. He would have to watch. |

Zurgon had decided to leave Syndral be, she wasn't very talkative and the he wanted someone to talk to while the teacher droned on about his 'glory days' It seemed like he had been sitting there for hours, the clock just ticking away, each second felt like a minute and each minute an hour. He gazed around the room, scoping it out to see if there were any interesting people, everyone he saw was sleeping or talking to someone else, except for Mort. Zurgon waited until the teacher had turned, he switched seats with the one beside Mort.
"Hello, there." He whispered, hoping this person was more friendly than the others he had the pleasure of meeting so far on his journey. "I'm Shane, Shane Blair." He said as he extended a hand for a shake.

Slipping the small piece of paper into his desk for future examination, Mr. White glanced at the clock. It was nearly time for the classes to switch. He internally sighed at the thought. It became apparent that he’d have to repeat this procedure of introducing himself, and getting the new students to do the same, four more times. Elim never did like introductions and pleasantries. He was a person he liked to get straight to work without having to sugarcoat things in any way. It was one of the reasons why he had chosen Mathematics as his subject of teaching. Mathematics was a very straightforward class; he would teach the students the formulas necessary in order for them to complete their assignments, and then they would do just that. There was nothing personal in Math, like in English, for example, where one might be expected to give their opinion on a work of writing or tell a story that might help students better relate to a piece of literature. There was nothing like that in Math. It was all just formulas and facts, nothing to be debated, nothing to give an opinion on. That’s why he liked it.
- - - Rachel was just finishing up her assignment, scanning her answers repeatedly for any flaw. While normally she was very outgoing and people oriented, that side of her disappeared when she was working alone. She wasn’t ‘obsessive’ about her grades, but they were very important to her, nonetheless, so she was always very serious about completing her work and checking over her answers. When she was satisfied that she had done alright, she set her paper face down on her desk and rested her arms over top of it, settling her chin on her crossed arms as she waited for class to be over. As she waited, Rachel thought about the new Math teacher. She had known the Math teacher from last year, and had even had some conversations with him here and there, being the extroverted person she was. Mr. White seemed to be more of a ‘no nonsense’ kind of teacher than he had been, but she didn’t mind. He’d probably open up more as the year went on, she thought.

Seytrius looked around his class, having finished most of his current book. Man, could this be any more boring? He thought to himself, scratching his head. He looked at the humans in the class. There were a few done, but the majority weren't finished.Maybe I should go back and check, just to look normal. He thought, looking through his answers. He actually found two that were incorrect. Seytrius quickly corrected them.

Out of the corner of her eye, Syndral had noticed that Zurgon had moved away from her. She confirmed this, when she heard his voice coming from behind her. He was obviously talking to someone else. She sighed in relief, happy to be done with him. At least now she could put her full attention on reading her personal novel. She certainly had no intention of reading the one about the boy and the alien. As she focused on her book, Syndral completely ignored her surroundings and didn't pay any attention to the conversation going on behind her. Syndral wasn't even fully aware of a fellow alien of the Order being behind her, not that it would have made a difference at the moment. She wanted to be left alone and not forced to socialize. She never was one to socialize with anyone, not even her own alien species from her home planet. Syndral was pretty much just content having nothing to do with Zurgon at the moment, and wanted to keep it that way.

Mr. White, sitting at his desk now, was once again scanning the classroom with his eyes like a hawk. He was watching, keeping his eyes open for anything. It was necessary to be observant in his line of work, and Elim always tried to perform his duties exceptionally. He was idly wondering who he could bring back to his base for testing, if anyone. It wouldn’t do for a student to go missing within days of his arrival. No, that would raise suspicions. Still, he wanted to complete his mission to the fullest, and if that involved a bit of experimentation or some dissection, then so be it. He was still pondering how he would go about doing it, however. If he didn’t want to arouse suspicion, then he shouldn’t target a student, but who, then? Some random passerby on the street? That would be.. rather unprofessional, but not impossible.
The alien imposter leaned back slightly in his chair, steepling his fingers. No, he should put off such direct methods of experimentation.. for now. Right now, he needed to focus on blending in and information gathering by other means. If that meant studying his students by simply watching them, then so be it. He continued his sweeps of the room, eyes flicking about for anything worth storing away in his head. He noticed Ryo raise his hand. Taking the gesture to mean he had a question to ask rather than just get his attention, he said, “Yes, Mr. Tenshi?” - - - Satisfied with her ‘analysis’ of Mr. White, Rachel turned to study the other new students in the classroom. Her eyes found Nathan first, the one who had chosen to introduce himself before the others. From what she’d seen of him so far, he seemed to be more of a humorous person, but other than that, she really couldn’t tell. She didn’t like to judge or make first impressions, considering some of the bad first impressions she herself tended to make. Still, it was in her nature to be curious. She’d have to talk to him sometime, maybe say hello to him in the hall when classes changed. Rachel smiled to herself, intending to do just that.

Mr. White didn't say anything, or really make any expression at all to betray what he might be thinking or feeling. Instead, he simply rose from his desk and went to retrieve Ryo's paper. Seeing this, Rachel perked up and quickly raised her own paper in her hand. After having retrieved Ryo's paper, Elim silently took Rachel's as well before retreating back to his desk. Sitting down, he informed the class, "You have 5 minutes," before storing the papers away.

Seeing Ryo's wave, Rachel repeated the gesture with a smile, staying quiet for the same reason. She glanced at the clock, seeing that they would be switching classes any moment now. Maybe she could introduce herself to Nathan and say hi to Ryo in the time it took for all the students to retrieve their books from their lockers. She'd have to wait and see, she supposed.

As Zurgon introduced himself to Mort he took a glance at the clock, noticing the bell was going to ring in a few seconds, he had noticed that Mort hadn't even heard him anyways, and he didn't want to wait until he was noticed by him. Zurgon always was impatient, no matter what, he always wanted to finish quick and be done with things then move on to the next task.
It was then that the bell ringed, signaling all students to move to their second slot classes, Zurgon jumped up and ran ran out the room, he hoped his next class would be more interesting, he had no idea what was in store... Zurgon's locker was right next to Mr. White's class, he had peeked in the classroom to get a quick feel for it, it was then that he noticed Ryo and Rachel, his two 'friends' from the previous night, he exploded with happiness inside.

Rachel's head perked up when she heard the bell ring. She immediately gathered up her things as quickly as she could and managed to slip out of the classroom before being caught in the horde of students starting to move. Seeing Shane at the entryway, she smiled and offered a pleasant, "Hi! I wasn't sure if I'd see you here or not." Her demeanor had changed from their encounter on the street to now, since she was now in a comfortable and familiar school setting.
- - - Mr. White jumped a bit at that horrible sound of the bell ringing, but forced himself to settle down. Apparently, he was going to have to get used to such awful sounds.

Zurgon had not grasp of human school and being marked absent or late, he was distracted very easily and this was a big distraction for him. He managed to shyly give a quick wave before shaking some sense into himself and deciding to walk with her through the halls. "It's nice to see you, looking back in retrospect I probably did seem a bit odd following you at nighttime, that's my bad." He gave a small shrug and a nervous chuckle. "But I do so hope we can become friends, I would like that very much..." Zurgon didn't have many friends on his planet other than P3, and even they never hung out much, so he wasn't sure how the process of making friends exactly worked.
"Maybe we could get some lunch together today?" He asked, hoping for a 'yes'.

Rachel shook her head. "It's okay. I was being a little bit paranoid, too. I'm just not used to seeing other people around at night." Stopping at her locker and working the combination, she turned her head towards him and said, almost as enthusiastically as he had, "That sounds nice! Sure!" Here was the Rachel that was normally surfaced when she wasn't either off in her own little world or working. She might have even been as enthusiastic about having new friends as Shane was. Setting her Math books in her locker and retrieving the ones for her next class, she asked, "What class do you have next?"

Zurgon motioned towards Mr. White's classroom, "Math." He said with a smile, unaware of the dangers that lurked in that classroom, the devastation that lay underneath the skin of the so called 'Mr. White' Zurgon had been told of the impending 'invasion' of the Galactic Order and to be on the lookout, but he had no way of knowing who was an alien and who wasn't, the odd thing was Zurgon was too nice of a person to hurt anyone, he would always try to remedy a bad situation, if he found out someone at the school was a part of the Order he would try and understand why they would do such terrible things. "is the teacher any fun?" He asked, wholeheartedly.

"Oh, I have English next," she said. In all honesty, she had been hoping that she and Shane could spend a class or two together. She felt bad for having reacted so poorly during their first meeting, though she really couldn't blame herself, considering the situation they had been in. Focusing now on his question, she chuckled to herself at the thought of 'Mr. White' and 'fun' being in the same sentence.
"He's anything but fun, from what I've seen, at least," Rachel told him honestly. "He's more of a 'get down to business' kind of person. I wouldn't say he's mean, though; he's just focused on having us actually do our schoolwork instead of goofing off." Thinking for a moment, she couldn't think of anything else she had to add. She'd only known him for 45 minutes, it wasn't as if she could write a character analysis on him or anything.

"Well, Perhaps we have some other class together, I sure hope we do!" Anticipated, that was one word to describe Zurgon, or eccentric, or joyful-beyond-imagination, no matter what he was always happy, it may have rubbed off odd on others but not Rachel which is why Zurgon liked her so much, she hadn't made fun of his quirks or his setbacks, she was just a nice person and he enjoyed that about her.
"And about that Mr. White guy; Everyone just needs a nudge towards the right direction, he may be on the wrong course or going off track but I will make it my duty to make him laugh! See everyone has a good spot, even if it's way deep down inside them, and I enjoy finding those good spots." He said, not knowing he was already five minutes late for class.

At the sound of the bell, Syndral immediately got up from her seat and left English class. Even as she walked out of the room, she had her nose in her novel. She could walk down the hallway, dodge other students, all while reading her book. After all, Syndral prided herself into being quite the multitask-er. She also had fully memorized her school schedule after looking over it simply once this morning. Another perk of having such a large brain, being able to easily store and remember information. Syndral knew her next destination, Science class, with Ms. Espinoza.

Rachel chuckled softly at his determination, but glanced worriedly towards the direction of her class. "I don't mean to be rude, but I think we're late for class!" Scooting off towards the English classroom, she told him, "I'll see you later, then!" With that, she half walked, half jogged down the hall and through the door to her classroom. She felt bad about leaving him out in the hallway like that, but the feeling of dread she got from her tardiness made her feel worse.

Zurgon gave a farewell wave and with that scooted off to class, hoping to learn something, as an advanced species he knew all forms of math fluently and could recite pi to it's five millionth number, it would be easy but he liked easy, easy was good. Slowly but surely he entered the classroom, he saw that the seats were all filled except for one...The one right in front of the teacher's desk, he didn't mind, perhaps he could bond with the teacher. "Sorry I'm late, Mr. White, I was just conversing about with my female friend, but I'm here and I am adamant to learn!"

The Mathematics teacher didn’t make the slightest expression. If he had, however, it probably would have been a raised eyebrow. “Just take a seat, Mr. Blair, and don’t delay us any further,” Mr. White told him bluntly.
- - - Upon entering the classroom, Rachel was terrified and looking like she might tear up. She was a good person, and mostly a happy one at that, but she could be overly sensitive in certain areas. In this case, she feared the wrath of whatever teacher awaited her and whatever punishment was sure to be dealt out. "I'm sorry I'm late," she squeaked, hurriedly finding whatever empty chair she could find.

Syndral made it to Science class on time, and sat down at a desk in the back corner. She was too busy reading to really pay any attention to the other students, or the teacher for that matter. If she wasn't stuck on this job, she wouldn't be noticing them or talking to them at all. She knew this whole ordeal was going to be a nightmare, and she wasn't looking forward to any of it, except for dissecting humans. Experimenting on them would be intriguing. But so far, talking to humans was a total bore. And school itself was pointless. Syndral was highly intelligent and figured that was absolutely nothing a human could teach her, other than the weaknesses she came to this planet to learn, of course. But as far as actual knowledge goes, she saw humans as nothing more than useless and stupid parasites.

ooc: It's okay. Don't feel bad. Technically, she's not alone. Mort and Ms. Espinoza are there, but Waaksian isn't online right now.

//Plus our Ms. Espinoza isn't here ATM, sooooo...Yea.//
Zurgon sat in his desk quietly, ready to do whatever work he was given by his teacher, he was excited to see how primitive human math was, on his home planet everyone was a math genius since they were born, knowledge was something of an artificial god where he came from, but he preferred more primitive things. I wonder if I have a spare with anyone next... He wondered, the only reason that Zurgon had a spare was because the Brotherhood knew he was anxious and hated to sit still so they decided to let the school know he had enough credits to have a spare when they signed him up, he was grateful for that as it would also help him conduct studies on humans and their habits outside of class.

ooc: Although I'm afraid Syndral may have third and fifth period by herself.
8:00 – School begins 8:00-8:15 – Attendance/Breakfast 8:15-9:00 – Subject 1 (English - Mr. Normandy) 9:00-9:45 – Subject 2 (Science - Ms. Espinoza) 9:45-10:30 – Subject 3 (History) 10:30-11:15 – Gym/Art (Gym: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays. Art: Tuesdays and Thursdays.) 11:15-11:45 – Lunch 11:45-12:30 – Subject 4 (Math - Mr. White) 12:30-1:15 – Subject 5 (Spanish) 1:15-2:00 – Elective Class (Robotics - Mr. Cole) 2:00-2:45 – Study Hall 2:45-3:00 – Dismissal This is the schedule I have planned for Syndral, and I think she's the only one that has History and Spanish for that period of the day.

Again, without the slightest hint of expression, Mr. White began another round of introductions. It would seem the first day would be the most painful. “Welcome to class, students. I am your Mathematics teacher, Mr. White. Before we begin I would like to make something very plain: It is my duty to teach you what you need to learn, and I intend to do just that. I do not need your cooperation in order to do this, but it would make it much easier for all of us.” After making eye contact with what had to have been every student in the classroom, he continued, “Now that we understand each other, I believe it is only proper that I give the new students an opportunity to introduce themselves. Feel free to do so now.”
((OOC: I could put Rachel in History for the third subject so she wouldn't be alone there. :3))

Zurgon jumped up without hesitation, standing on his chair as he wasn't aware of the proper etiquette of the classroom. "Greetings, fellow students of Casper High, I am Shane Bartholomew Blair, if anyone would care to be buddies I'll be sitting up here, I'll also be signing autographs after class, and if anyone needs help with math, I'm your guy." He gave a wink to the classroom and plopped back on his seat.
"Was that alright?" He question his teacher. //Oh, just you wait, Zurgon'll get to her, it may take a few years...But he'll get to her. Also, my time table; 8:00 – School begins 8:00-8:15 – Attendance/Breakfast 8:15-9:00 – Subject 1 (English - Mr. Normandy) 9:00-9:45 – Subject 2 (Math - Mr. White) 9:45-10:30 – Subject 3 (Science - Ms. Espinoza) 10:30-11:15 – Gym/Art (Gym: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays. "Spectacular," Mr. White replied. His face remained set in stone, though his voice betrayed a hint of annoyance. Shaking his head - one of the few human gestures Elim had adopted into his behavior - he said, over the snickering of a few students, "Now, if you'll all turn to page xxiii, we can begin with the coursework." This time around, Elim had adopted a stern look on his face before he announced his order, silencing any protest before it even had the chance to register in their human minds. This brought a small, pleased smile to his face. Huh, so he was capable of human expression.
((OOC: Exactly! ))

Zurgon opened up his book to the page he was told, it was all so easy he had already read the entire page and solved every question, but he wouldn't show his cockiness....Yet. He assumed he was wanted to do all the questions on the page, so he did just so, answering all the questions correctly even correcting a mistake he found in the book. He had raised his hand to explain his discovery.
"HI!, Uh, Mr. White, I'm pretty sure they got the factor wrong on question 7, it should be -3, not positive 3." He hoped he hadn't interrupted the teacher in his speech, he wasn't sure if he was just pausing or was finished speaking.

Silence. That's all there was for a few moments. In those few moments, Mr. White was staring at Shane, his expression unreadable. Even when he stepped out from behind his desk and in front of Zurgon's, his eyes had not left the boy's. Elim's eyes only left his in the moments it took for him to pick up his textbook and study the offending question 7. There it was, indeed, the mistake that Shane had pointed out. He lowered the book to rest on the boy's desk again, flicking his eyes up to meet his own, saying simply, "Indeed so."
Elim said nothing more, even though his thoughts were racing behind that mask he wore, both mental and physical. He simply walked back up to the chalkboard and wrote a note for the students to skip number 7. Turning back to the rest of the class, he told them, "You are to complete the questions on this page. Skip number 7, but do the others." With that, he settled himself back behind his desk again, his fingers steepled in thought.

ooc: Yeah, it shouldn't be too hard to convince a human you're friendly and have no intention of dissecting them. And Zurgon may get through to Syndral in like the next century or so. It won't be easy. His best shot of getting her attention would be to reveal he's from the Brotherhood, but then she'll want to kill him, so.... Probably not the kind of attention he would want from her. x3

But, anyway, Wylrin, should we just wait for the others to come online, or time skip so that Syndral and Rachel can meet?
