Basil smiles and nods.
"Rosemary, lets show Falcon what we've learned!"

Rosemary runs at her brother. Basil sweeps his paw to knock hers from under her. He pins her down. Rosemary kicks him off with a surprising amount of force and Basil lands squarely on his paws. He runs at Rosemary zig-zagged to confuse her and then crashes into her from the left. Rosemary twists before she hits the ground, pinning down Basil instead.

"Very good." Falcon said. "I doubt I could have done all that when I was your age." "Now, if you want to hit opponents taller than you, you'll need to strike upwards occasionally." "Now, with your claws sheathed, please, try striking upwards to hit my muzzle."

Basil made an attempt to bat at Falcon.

Rosemary sat and watched.
"Father always said we needed to learn some skill in case we got in trouble."

"That's a good idea." Falcon said. "You next, Rosemary."

Rosemary padded over and with a small jump, batted Falcon's muzzle.

"There you go." Falcon said. "That's very good."

Basil and Rosemary smiled happily.

"Did your father teach you how to hunt?" Falcon asked.

Basil nods.
"Yep!"

"Okay," Tia mewed.

Fishpaw crept silently towards the WindClan border. He sneaked past it. Slowly, he headed towards the far away barn. There'd be loads of prey there!

Stormfrost and Chive head toward the entrance with Tia.

"Have you ever caught anything?" Falcon asked.

Rosemary laughed.
"A rabbit squished Basil, and we both caught a squirrel."

"Well, I'm not really sure what I can teach you, then." Falcon said. "You know how to hunt, and you know how to fight."

Basil smiled.
"You can help us sharpen our skills!"

Tia looked at her paws as they walked.

Stormfrost took the lead as Chive dropped back beside Tia.

"You okay?" Chive asks kindly.

Falcon nodded and said, "Alright then, would we be able to go out and hunt?"

Basil nodded.
"Kiba doesn't mind if we head out."

Falcon nodded, but said, "Just stay close to me, okay?"

Basil nodded.
"Alright."

Rosemary trotted behind.

Fishpaw stood before the barn. He'd just sneak in to get a quick look at how juicy and fat the food would be...if only he could be free...

As Falcon trotted outside, he smelled prey, but waited to see if the kits could pick up the scent of prey s well.

Basil perked up immediately.
"I smell rabbit!"

Fishpaw stopped. Was it wrong to be hunting here? No...he'd just be taking a quick look...and a quick bit of prey...nomnomnom....After several minutes, Fishpaw was proud of what he caught. There were loads of mice, voles and rats. He didn't TOUCH the rats! Carrion-eaters! He started to carry his prey out of the barn. The huge wooden door slammed in front of him, and he dropped his prey.
"Uh oh..." He whispered.

Tia nodded.

Chive smiled and gently nudged Tia.
"Hey, don't be so shy. Everyone here, even my mate Stormfrost, has a kind side.

Falcon tuned to the kits. "Can you pick up any scents?" He asked.

"Rabbit!" said Basil happily.

Rosemary shook her head.
"I'm sorry, I lost my sense of smell. I can only hear and see the prey."

Falcon turned to Rosemary. "Let's see how well you and your brother work as a team, then." He said. "Basil can sniff it out, and since your other senses are probably somewhat advanced, so let's see if you two can catch that rabbit."

The two kits nod. Basil goes downwind of the rabbit, beginning to get it to hop to Rosemary. Rosemary closes her eyes, listening to the thumps of rabbit feet. Basil then purposely makes it shoot forward. Rosemary looked to see the rabbit. She tackled it and Basil finished it off.

OOC: were are we?

OOC: well, since your cats are kittypets, I guess they start in their humans' house.

"That was great!" Falcon said, beaming. "I'm really impressed with both of your skills!"

The two kits beam proudly.

OOC: no they live in a cave because they like to fight

OOC: Well, if they're kittypets, they live with people, but they can be loners or rogues if you want them
to live in the wild.

"Let's take your kill back to camp." Falcon said.

The two kits nod and drag the prey back together.

OOC: okay i will post later

OOC: Where are all the rogues at the moment, eg. Basil, Chive, etc.?

Fishpaw looked for any way out of the dark barn. Then he saw it. A large, open window! How could he reach it? Then his eyes rolled over to a few barrels and hay. He picked up his catch and scurried towards the barrels. He leapt onto them, climbed up, up, up. He walked along a roof beam, leapt onto another set of beams. Once he was at these, he approached the window. There was no glass in it, and no glass is needed in barn windows! He looked out. How would he get down without killing himself?

OOC: The loners are at a some sort of camp in the twolegplace, but I'm pretty sure it's hidden from the twolegs.

Falcon walked the kits back through the camp entrance and gestured for them to set their fresh kill on the fresh kill pile.

The two dragged their prey to the fresh-kill pile and trotted back to Falcon.
"Thanks for teaching us, Falcon!"

"My pleasure." Falcon said. "What else do you kids usually do?"

Basil smiled.
"We like playing tricks!"

Rosemary nods.
"If we want to play tricks though, it's usually only on Supaku and his sister, because they don't get mad at us..."

"Have you guys ever played a game called capture the flag?" Falcon asked.

The kits shake their heads.
"Kurai hana has played it before, but not us."

A grin spread across Falcon's face. "Would you like to learn how to play?" He asked.
