" Well um " said Anthanie " i better be going now maybe "

Seraphina quickly moved away from the rider. She hid behind a tree quietly as she thought up an attack plan.

" huh? " wondered Anthanie

Eric and Peter ran into Felicia unexpectedly. Eric literally ran into her, and they both crashed to the ground with a thud.

The dragon quickly took into the air with a single wing beat, dodging the light. "Give up already." ths dragon told Icestorm.
"But you should really leave." Drizzle insisted, trying to get Aoki out of danger. Hetrod continued to barrage the rider with fireballs, trying to buy enough time for the villagers to leave. "

"Yes I'm sure." Drizzle replied.

"Mere words will not stop me from protecting my people," Lucien flew up after the dragon. While under him, he made a warning shot of electricity that sped by the dragon's face.

Druton had landed next to the rider, "I'm sure if I stall you long enough, you'll have one less dragon on your team," he let out a stream of fire at the ground around the rider's feet.

Eric got to his feet, helped Felicia up, and the three hid in the woods.

"Why is this happening now?" Felicia asked. "We've lived in a somewhat peaceful time for quite awhile."
"Why ruin it now?"

Drizzle kept on looking at Aoki until he knew she was out of harms way. He then turned around and ran back into the heat of the battle. The corrupt dragon roared in anger and shot a burning ball of fire at Lucien. He then turned his attention to Icestorm and fought back with his deadly claws. The rider jumped back from stream of fire Druton had created and glared at him. "Why did Zenneth bring me here if I was going to be outnumbered in the first place." the rider mumbled.

The dragon roared in pain and flew away from Icestorm. "You are making a huge mistake." the dragon threatened.

"What ever Zenneth orders must go." the dragon told Icestorm.

Seraphina glanced behind her to see the dragon and Icestorm. She glanced over to the rider. She quickly ran behind the rider, hoping he wouldn't see her.

"This is not going to end well." Eric said, watching the battle.

"Zenneth controls all and deserves to." the dragon said. The dragon charged at Icestorm, his claws ready to tear him apart. The rider took out a black stone in his right hand and gripped it tightly. "What is that?" Drizzle asked Hetrod, noticing the odd stone.
"He must be getting ready to call for help." Hetrod replied quietly.

Seraphina moved quietly behind the rider and got straight behind him

Felicia noticed the dark stone in the rider's hand and said, "We need to get as far away from here as possible." She turned and ran, Peter and Eric following close behind.

The three noticed a small hole in the bottom of a hollow tree, just big enough for them to squeeze in through.

Lucien forced his open left paw into the center of fireball, grabbing the everything that carried the fire along. Squeezing it till it was extinguished, "Like I said, I'm no ordinary dragon," his white paw was burned red and black, but was covered over by larger golden scales. He was listening to their conversation, "Don't try to reason with the corrupt, "They've never listened to us before, why would they now?" his right paw raise up facing the dark dragon, and a volt of electricity charged from his teeth down through his leg to hold a point on the edge of his claws.

Druton charged for the rider, "He won't get to get a call out," he jumped up toward the dark stone with a twirl.

"You shall all die in vain." the dragon threatened. He began chuckling hysterically, descending into madness. "Once my rider calls for help you are all doomed!" The rider saw Druton and jumped away, landing on a nearby tree.
"Say goodbye to your pathetic lives." the rider told everyone. The dark stone in his hand began to glow and there were cracks beginning to form around it. Hetrod summoned a ball of fire in his right palm and hurled it at the tree the rider was on, causing it to burst up in flames.

Seraphina looked at the now burning tree. Her eye widened as she slowly backed away from the flames

"Sorry to proove you wrong, but a rider gives the orders," Druton added, "Lucien," he looked up, "You take my position, I'll handle the dragon," he looked at his own paw, "Ironic," he smiled at himself. He then turned to the dark dragon, "Any rider can, well he can try with any dragon... Well I'm not exactly a rider right now... Alright," he came up on his hind legs, and his scale bagan retracting into his skin, and his spine snapped up, arms stretching out, horns retracting, and hair growing from the now bald head.

Lucien nodded and aimed his right paw at the rider in the tree and waited to see if he would escape the burning tree.
