It's frustrating, but looks like a good bit of the Southeast Coast is going to have to wait another day. But the good news is it looks like they are shipping out in large quantities. Kind of disappointing they have not shown up online (for retail price, that is) and there seems to be a several day shipping variance between regions.

It is good that they seem to have lots of Thumpy and EB, they seem to be a couple of the most wanted and it has been a while since we got a new Giant (the day after release was Hothead!). Honestly, I am kind of expecting this to be the last great rush for Giants. We have the ones people are really excited about, and we have pink Barbie Giant, three reposes (only one of which has much interest, Spyro), and three Lightcores leftover. I'll be anxious to get those, of course, but to the target audience (pre-teen boys), it is hard to find anything they will want to run out and get.

Of course, there are the variants still, so who knows what happens with those.

Someone just posted on the facebook page they just picked them up in Jacksonville, Fl. Just didn't make it as far South as the Treasure Coast I guess. Can hardly wait til tomorrow.

Um we got them in Savannah, Ga today

Checked the other Gamestop here and they said check back tomorrow or the next day. That's when they're getting a shipment in, but they didn't know what was in it. Also checked target, nothing.

Eye-Brawl and Thumpback have found their way to the GameStops in St. Joe Missouri.

Just got them both in Gamestop located in Atlanta Georgia.

Still nothing in Maryland.

So people are finding them in florida? o: I live in Casselbarry. Wonder if they are around here yet.

I don't normally post on forums, but I wanted to thank those who helped with providing info that Thumpback and Eye Brawl were released. Found each today at a Game Stop in Moline, IL (quad cities). They only received one box with 2 of each inside.

First post on the board, found Eye Brawl and Thumpback at a Gamestop in St Louis area. Also got a free TerraBite with the $30 spent.

These are now showing up in Knoxville, TN!! Picked up one of each at GameStop. The closest one didn't have them yet so it's still hit and miss. They had a couple of each on the shelf.

Correction on my earlier post, Thumpback and Eye Brawl DID turn up in NC today (1/16), although some stores did not get it yet. On a whim I tried another Gamestop and they had gotten them in today, they had 2 of each left (not sure how many they had gotten in). I bought them for me and a friend, and he got the 2 Sidekicks from the purchase (I already have all 4 Sidekicks).

Love seeing everyone get these today. I don't see how any of you are, though, seeing as I cleaned out every Gamestop and Walmart in the US. Sorry, had to say that in a fit of sarcasm.

I've posted in the past about you buying more than one, but I (personally) really don't consider it to be a problem, because you are not (as far as we know) taking advantage of it for profit. You aren't consuming more than you actually will "use". Now if I were in your situation, and were to be totally honest, I'd say get the one to use and one for the wall, and save the rest (for alternate paths/kids/friends) to pick up when they are more commonly available, but I do understand you live in an area where demand is heavily skewed by scalping. As long as you aren't going, buying six, popping them up on Ebay for 400% profit, then it's cool - I just very much dislike people that take advantage of others for money, and REALLY dislike it when it is kids that are being hurt.

In the end, you are a fan, not a profiteer - and none of your detractors can deny that.

Last time I went in TRU, a week ago, they seemed to be going through the inventory process. When that happens they typically slow down shipments from the warehouse so they can do a more accurate count. That may have something to do with it.

They are in the southern metro Atlanta area. The Gamestop in Peachtree City and 2 Gamestops in Fayetteville had sold out. I was able to get both giants from one of the Gamestops in Newnan. Also, the Sidekick promotion is going and I got the Terrafin one for free. They sell out quick since it seems the stores are only getting one box of the Giants.

eye brawl and thumpback are in the kansas city metro area. the gamestops only got 2 of each, one got 4 of each. so, hurry hurry if you live in kc mo/ks and call you gamestops before its too late.

also the side kick promotion was going on, and i got two. (i bought the prism break/lightning rod/drill sergeant)

Okay, for those in the so cal/L.A area..tho some shipments did begin on the west in cali, only random walmarts got them..not one single GS has recived a shipment anywhere near the L.A city/Orange county, nor have most wal-marts(I have called about 20). ALL my local gamestops have confirmed a "shipment" arrving today thru friday, however, my local GS only got in more 3 packs today and of all things they only recieved the old 3 pack with shroomboom..I have been actively hunting these figs down since thursday with the release of the scorpion battle pack..physically drving to every wal mart and gamestop within a 20 mile radious of Long Beach CA sometimes 2 to 3 times per day, as well as calling repeatedly thoughout the day to cehck on their shipment arrivals with absolutely no luck..not one store employee can give me any useful info and I have even spoken with managers who have no clue what I'm even talking about...So..for those of you thinking Cali has some specila priority to the release think agaiun..it appears from where I am standing that the East coast is the ones getting the majority of GS shipments now..as NONE have recieved them here in the Los Angeles/Orange county area so far..not ONE...

Just got back from the WalMart in Maryville Mo which got both Giants in today. Was there when they opened the box and there was only 1 of each in the box. Not sure if they are getting a different assortment or if the employee may have put some out already an resealed the box.

nothing in the southern mass, rhode island area...one guy I called said the release wasn't until february. I told him people were getting them all over and he said they were released overseas...he did not believe me.

Cedar Rapids, IA GameStops killed it for me over the past two days. Not only did the store at which I bought Thumpback and Eye Brawl hold them until I could pick them up this afternoon (just bought them), but the guy who I talked to on the phone actually took my name and number and called me back when he had time to open the boxes that came in earlier.

Two days ... two different GameStop stores ... two very helpful employees that allowed me to snatch up the Hot Dog pack, Thumpback, and Eye Brawl. That's what I call customer service.

Yeah Homewad some Gamestops are awesome. Mine are like that here in Florida. They hold stuff for me, call when it comes in, etc. I have never had a bad experience with Gamestop over the years. Been very fortunate to either have friends that work there or make friends with the employees that work there. So glad you got them and had an awesome experience. My stores are expecting them tomorrow and i am really psyched. Can hardly wait, Congrats and Blessings

Found both Thumpback and Eye Brawl at Gamestop in Omaha, Nebraska today. Had to try three different stores before I got a hold of them, but they had a few of each on the shelves.

Gamestops in King sport, TN are employed by low life scalpers. They all said they received nothing today when every city around them got them in. They did this back when Cynder came out for SSA. The girl that manages the store is worthless and keeps them for herself. Most unhelpful gamestops I have ever seen. The others held them for me and even offered to hold them until they closed. So even though gamestop released these figures the employees determine if they are for sell or not. They should be fired for acting like that. So I understand completely homewad and johnnyb

in the sprit of "giving"....may I give back to the skylander hunters community with this helpful info..I just bought both EB and Tb and got my Terrabite SK as well for FREE with the purchase @ gamestop in Garden grove CA, the only store in oc I have yet to find who got their dshipment today....I got mine @ 2pm pac time..and was the first to get them..they have not even been put out yet..so..if you are in the area call them ASAP..Raoul the sales asistant was kind enough to hold them for me over the phone..so..good luck fellow hunters..Gamestop Garden grove (714) 534-5341

i love seeing everyone getting the giants that the scalpers are trying to sell for high price. my only concern with these posts are that they are helping scalpers scoop up what they can in the areas they live. so doing all the work helps the scalpers know where to go.
