Chapter 21: Temple Of Light

Malefor looked at the shadow curiously. "Eternal Night..." He whispered. The shadow looked at him in anger. Malefor grinned as the shadow bellowed. "It seams, I've told you too much..." The shadow said grinning. Malefor tunred around and flew away from the shadow. The two Cynders followed him in worry. "Where are we going!" The younger Cynder yelled. Malefor looked at her and nooded. He made a sharp turn right and flew downwards. A large silver ocean shined below them. Malefor turned his head towards the night sky. It was pitch black. He couldn't see anything, not the stars the moons or anything. He didn't know if it was night or day. The younger Cynder looked at him in worry. "Malefor! But where are we going!" She yelled. Suddenly a large green shell appaered from the silver water bellow. Malefor turned around and nodded to the two Cynder's.

The younger Cynder turned around. The younger Cynder couldn't see the shadows but she couldn't tell if they were invisible against the black clouds above or they wern't there at all. She could see a faint light in the distance. She looked at Malefor as he looked up at her. They were flying directly towards the celestial caves, better known by him as the temple of light. She looked forwards as the light got brighter and brigter. 'Cynder!' A voice yelled in the younger Cynder's head. She stopped floating motionless in the sky above the sea. 'I will come Cynder... I will come and you will be the first to join me, the first to fall to my shadow...' The voice said. The younger Cynder knew its wasn't Convexity but she still recognised there voice. She tryed to fly forward but she felt like she was being held in the air un able to brake free.

Chapter 22: The Spirits Whisper

Cynder woke up on a large grey stone platform suspended over a black pit of disspare. She looked around and could see nothing, just the platform she was standing on but nothing else around her. She shivered in worry dreading what could be out there. 'Cynder...' A voice whispered from behind her. She quickly turned around and looked behind her. There was nothing there. She began to grow worried. 'Do not worry Cynder...' The voice said trying to calm her down. She didn't trust them, she couldn't if she didn't know who it was. "Who are you? Where am I?" Cynder asked. There was a long silence as an image of a large temple appeared infront of her. Two stone statues of Malefor stood infront of the temple. "Where... Where am I..." She whispered. Cynder walked up to the edge of the platform she was on. She looked down at the large gap and knew she couldn't make it to the other side, she could bairly move her wings.

'The great temple of time...' The voice said. Cynder looked around in anger. "But who are you!" She yelled. There was a loud laugh from behind her. 'Can't you see me? I realy wish you could...' The voice said with a tone of sarcasum. A bright light appeared in the entrance arch to the temple. A large bridge rose from the shaodws beneith her. She cautiously walked across the bridge tyerd and confused. The light shone in her eyes but at the same time rid the area of any darkness or shadow. The light faded as two glowing white eyes remained high up above her. "No... NO!" She yelled. She heard a loud chuckle from above her. "You should know what it feels like! After all, I did free from from it. As you freed me, but no longer..." The voice yelled. Cynder looked at the large glowing eyes in anger as she stepped back. A shadow creaped around her and filled the temple.

Chapter 23: The Dark Dust Spirit

The two white beaming eyes galired at her as if looking into her mind. "What do you want!" Cynder yelled in anger. She knew who it was but she didn't know if she could trust him after what happened. "But you died! I saw you as you fell into the hole leading Convexity with you!" She yelled again. The two glowing eyes lowed down to her as they got closer. A large black head appeared from the shadow that it had been hidden in. He glaired at her with anger. "Spyro... What happened?" She said nerviously. She felt so defenceless against him now. She knew what it was like to push him around when she was controlled by darkness but now she knew what he felt like but she also knew that she wasn't as brave as he had been. He sniggered to her. "Weak... Small black Dragon, a discrace to your kind!" He yelled to her.

Spyro lifted his head back into the shadow. Cynder walked closer to him. "Spyro... What realy happened! How did you come back..." She yelled. Spryo bellowed and gruntted to her. "Did you forget Cynder? Without your memory of me I'm just dust... Just like before..." He echoed as the bright eyes disolved onto the floor as a large pile of black dust. The black shadow that had surouned the room faded away and left Cynder on her own. She walked to the exit of the large temple and looked at the black below the platforms that hovered in the air. She sighed and lowered her head. "Spyro..." She whispered to herself as she closed her eyes. 'Shadows are everywhere... and where ever they are so am I...' A voice wispered into her head.

Sorry, Im rubish with that. Im ok with most things but I get realy confused with really, also Spyro being bad will be explained.

Chapter 24: The Celestial Dragon

Cynder opened her eyes and looked up at a large stone ceiling. Cynder heard the deep voice of Malefor as he walked in circles around the room. Cynder lifted her head and turned to look at Malefor. The adult Cynder looked at her angrily. "You took your time!" She yelled in frustration. Malefor shook his head at the adult Cynder. "Its not her fault." Malefor yelled at her. The younger Cynder was confused. She didn't know what had happened whilst she had fallen asleep. Malefor walked up to the younger Cynder and helped her off the floor. "Wh- What happened?" The younger Cynder asked. Malefor shook his head. The younger Cynder looked at the adult Cynder confused. The adult Cynder turned her head away from her. The younger Cynder stood up as the roof began to shake as dust and rock fell from the ceiling.

"What! Whats that!" The younger Cynder stuttered. Malefor looked up at the ceiling in worry. He sighed and looked down at the younger Cynder. "They found us, whilst you were asleep." Malefor sighed. Cynder hanged her head. She felt annoyed with herslef but also angry with Spyro. 'Malefor...' A voice whispered into his head. Malefor began to look around confused. He walked around the room again as he shook his head. 'You can not hide it Malefor, fear shrouds you like my shadows...' The voice continued to whisper. Malefor looked around the room again in worry. 'Time's run out Malefor...' The voice said. Malefor felt more worried with every word. He began to breath faster as his heart raced. 'Run out for you... For all of you...' The echoes of the voice faded as the room around him faded into black. "Malefor! Malefor!" Another voice yelled into his head as his vision faded away.

Chapter 25: The Sands Of Time

Malefor woke up in a dark room with four hour glasses stood on a table infront of him. He walked up to them and looked down. Each of them were labbled with a piece of paper attached to some string. Malefor lifted one of the lables with his large claws. He looked closely a he read what it said. "Malefor..." He whispered. He let go of the lable and let it hang. Malefor stepped back and watched the sand fall through the hourglass. The top half was almot empty as it lowly lowered as the sand fell into the bottom half. "Times run out Malefor..." A voice echoed behind him. Malefor looked infront of himself and slowly turned his head. Two glowing eyes appeared in the shadow behind him. A large black head came closer to him and out of the shadows. Malefor looked confused. "Convexity..." He whispered unsure. The creature shook its head. "Im suprised that you don't recognise me. Cynder did as soon as she layed eyes on me." He echoed.

Malefor shook his head and walked back untill he felt himself hit the table behind him. "What happened! What did Convexity do!" Malefor yelled. The large black Dragon looked curiously at him. "Convexity did nothing, I was born for darkness, born for the ultimate shadow to rule over me!" He said. Malefor looked at the large Dragon worridly. "You died... But I saw you fall with Convexity... Spyro..." Malefor yelled. Spyro looked angrly at him. "That name means nothing to me anymore!" He yelled walking closer to Malefor. He lowered his long neck down to him. "Convexity helped me, untill I helped him some how." Spyro whispered. Malefor looked at him in anger. "You killed him, before you died you killed him!" Malefor yelled. He turned his head behind him to look at the hour glasses. The one labled 'Malefor' was almost empty. "And now, I will kill you..." Spyro whispered.

Chapter 26: Haunted Shadow

Spyro looked down at Malefor with a large grin on his face. "How long now Malefor?" Spyro whispered into his ear. Malefor felt his heart begin to beat slower as the sand trickled through the hourglass infront of him. "How many more beats left in the old fragile heart?" Spyro continued. Malefor felt the blood in veins cool down as his throte began to dry up. He watched his scales as they changed colour to an ice cold blue. "Only a few more seconds Malefor... Any last words?" Spryo asked in a sly voice. There was a long silence as Malefor began to shiver. "I thought not..." Spyro said with a grin on his face. Malefor closed his eyes and lowered his head. With his last breath he whispered, "Spyro... No one will die tonight..." He fell onto the table infront of him. Spyro watched as Malefor's hour glass rolled off the table and smashed on the floor.

A large pile of sand lay on the floor next to some shards of glass. Spyro grinned as he looked at Malefor. "Such a shame..." Spyro said with a tone of sarcasum in his voice. Spyro turned his head and looked at an hour glass to his far right. He picked it up read the paper lable attached to it. He grinned at the sight of it and placed it back onto the table infront of him. He turned around into the shadows . "Im afrade, Malefor, that you were wrong, and one will still die..." Spryo said as he walked into the shadows around the room. He knew who was to die next, and he knew just how to do so...

Wait, where's Convexity? He's killed by Spyro...right?

There was two of them, one of them was killed in the last one but there's another Convexity who is busy with his evil plans (He's in the next chapter anyway so don't worry )

Ok, this chapter is in the Mountain and to clear things up the 'Shadows' are the name of Convexitys army.

Chapter 27: Convexitys Rein

Convexity stood infront of a large purple beam of light in the mountain fortress. He grinned as he turned around to two Shadows standing infront of him with the younger Malefor being dragged along the floor. He lifted his head to look at Convexity in anger. "You! You murderer!" Malefor yelled jumping towards Convexity. He felt the metal collar around his neck pull him back. Convexity grinned at Malefor as he lay on the floor. "So true, Cynder's death was after all a tragety..." Convexity said with a sly voice. Malefor got more and more angry with every word that came from Convexitys mouth. "You'll pay for this! With your own blood!" Malefor yellled. Convexity couldn't help but laugh at how pathetic he thought Malefor sounded. "You? Challenge me? You wouldn't even last one seconds against me!" Convexity yelled still laughing.

Malefor looked even more angry but before he could say anything a voice started to talk. "Convexity?" It echoed. Convexity turned around to look at two bright lights shining through the large purple beam. "It has been done my master, he is dead." The voice said. Convexity turned around and looked at Malefor with a grin on his face. Malefor recognised the voice comming from the beam but couldn't quite tell who edsactly it was. Convexity turned his head back to the eyes. "You have surved me well, maby you are ready after all." Convexity whispered so that Malefor couldn't hear him. "But Master, I am ready now! Just, find a way to bring me back!" The voice yelled in anger. Convexity gave the two eyes a stern look. "I will do so, when the time is right" Convexity said. Malefor felt confused but at the same time he had a terrible feeling.

*mouth falls open* Oh no! Spyro's dead all along! Convexity 'saved' him and somehow put him under his control! The only thing weirder is Spyro being Convexity's son.

Chapter 28: The Dragons Of Shadow

Spyro nodded and turned away from the large arch. He walked into the black shadows around him as the purple light in the archway faded into the darkness. "My master!" Said a Shadow as he walked up to Spyro. "We found him." They continued. Spyro turned his head to face the Shadow. "Show me." Spyro said with a grin on his face. The Shadow lead Spyro to a dark empty room with two green eyes glowing in the darkness. Spyro turned his head and nodded to the Shadow. "You may leave." He whispered as the Shadow left. Spyro walked up to the green eyes. "Over a thousand years..." Spyro whispered. "But, after over a thousand years you finaly returned. But why did you return?" Spyro asked with a tone of sarcasum in his voice. He walked around Malefor impatiently waiting for an answer.

"Don't give me that kind of lies. You braught me here! So my question to you is, why?" Malefor yelled. Spyro shook his head. "Oh Malefor. You know yourself why. After all, your the one who wantted to start it. Convexity only made that so. But now you've come to help us, help us rid the world of the pathetic and weak that shelter from the darkness." Spyro whispered in a sly voice. Malefor shook to try and break free from his chains. "There's no use in struggling..." Spyro whispered. Malefor stopped and realsied what Spyro was saying. "No... You don't really mean Convexity is still doing that!" Malefor yelled. Spyro grinned and walked closer to Malefor. "Oh yes Malefor, and you will join them. The Dragons of shadow, the unstoppable force." Spyro said grinning.

Malefor shook his head. "And you think that an army of Shadows is enough to kill everyone on the world? But what is the shadow but mearly an omen of the light?" Malefor asked. Spyro looked at him in anger. "Light? You think that for one second whilst I rule this world one spark of light will ever be seen?" Spyro asked. Malefor looked confused. "Whist you rule this world? I thought Convexity was your 'Master'." Malefor asked. Spyro looked at him with anger but then simply grinned. "Convexity? My master? I am far more powerfull than Convexity, he cowers in fear from me and I know he can't deny it." Spyro whispered. Malefor looked at him in anger. "So you'd be willing to step all over Convexity just to get your share of the world?" Malefor asked with a grin on his face. Spyro grinned back. "You have no idea what I'd be willing to do..." He whispered as he walked off into the shadow leaving Malefor in his chains.
