Part 2 videos:

The video on Ninjini was the coolest one I recorded, but again my phone recorded it upside down. I will fix it tomorrow and send a detailed written report on everything I saw at the convention.

The character videos were not unlocked for the 8 new Skylanders & 8 Giants as seen on the Characters video. The only reason I was able to see Hot Dog and Ninjini’s was that I found their Soul Gems while playing the game.

Hopefully just the pics and videos will be enough for tonight. I need to get to bed & be ready for work. My next post should be sometime late Thursday/mid Friday.

Most of what I saw at the Gamestop convention is shown in the pictures/videos I already posted. I won’t bore you with repeating anything you have already seen so I’ll just talk about the one thing I saw that I wasn’t able to get a video of.

There was a movie section in the game that showed a cinema of how Kaos got back to Skylands:

It starts with Kaos as a figure on the shelf of some toy store. Somehow he is shocked back to life as he tries to figure out where he is. He then notices several Skylanders (also as toys) in a display case like the stores have now. They talk to him as frozen toys and he makes some smart comments back. The noise of the convention made it hard to hear everything that was said. Glumshanks then comes onto the TV monitor that is in front of the toy display Portal of Power. He tells Kaos that this is his way back to Skylands. Kaos steps onto the toy portal and is transported back. Eon appears as a floating head and does his “welcome to Skylands” portal master speech. He talks a bit about the Giants as you float by stone statues of the 8 Giants. He then starts to talk about an ancient enemy: The Arkeyans. As Eon is talking it zooms in to an Arkeyan statue that comes to life. That’s where the video ends. This was the only video that was available to be played. I assume more will appear as you beat chapters in the game.

maybe just the opening but DO you think they will have different dialoge in the cutscenes? like in many rpgs where you have a certain party member they something different

the older portals didn't have enough magic at the time but now they have waited a year to absorb the earth's natural magika to send them with their voice boxes and more upgrades - thats what i think

See The Beginning.
Not that I wouldn't like it, just that I don't think it will happen. Skylanders have spoken English in trailers who normally wouldn't, Wrecking Ball in particular. Plus with all the Skylanders that speak in gibberish, I don't really think they would put all the effort in for it.
The game trailers are about as credible for into as the 3DS version...
