I probably wouldn't take notice of the series at all, but seeingas Skylanders as aimed at children, I probably would have enjoyed it back then. I reckon I would still be disapointed at the LoS series, and I suppose the Insomniac trilogy would have really surprised me.

The Skylanders back stroys don't have a lot to do with the actuel game. So I don't think it would make much of a diference. XP

^ I'd actually... really like that. No offense to Ripto, but I liked his return in Season of Flame. When I got Attack of the Rhynocs for Christmas and noticed that he had made yet another appearance after Enter the Dragonfly, I was getting sick of him. >>; (never have played Spyro Orange yet... but I know he's the antagonist.)
