Aretis grunted falling back, but threw himself again at the monster, dodging it's tentacles and clawing his way to Starz.

"Not the Dark Essence? Then where is it? It can't just be gone." Lucien implied, standing up from where he lay.

"Memory loss? That good on my part, if he even cared." Skyer remarked.

"I don't know, but Scar doesn't remember anything about him betraying us. I guess you could say Scar is the way he is suppose to be if he hadn't escaped time's effects. So think you can forgive and forget because Scar will have no idea why you guys hate him." she said.

Scar tapped his claws on the ground in annoyance. He wanted Phoenix to hurry up her discussion.

"I could if he truly has forgotten himself. But if he goes back to his old ways, he would not be welcome here." Lucien warned her as he approached Scar, "Hello, I am Lucien," not bothering to reach out for contact, "I wanted to ask what brings you here to the forest?"

Skyer turned his head a little, "I agree with Lucien, if he even shows one ounce of himself, he can not be trusted." he turned and walked to the river. It had been a while before he had shown his scar to anyone, but he didn't mean for it to appear as he walked past Casia. He stopped to look at himself in the rivers reflection. The mark on his side reminded him of the argument between him and Scar, Why must everyone think their childhood is worse than mine?

Casia tilted her head and silently trotted off ater Skyer. She looked at his reflection, then to her own. "What are you thinking about?" she asked quietly.

Aretis lunged for Starz, clawing open the tentacle holding her.

"I came here because Phoenix wanted to come here. Said something about desperately missing her friends. I'm not usually a social dragon, but I'll manage." he said, "Hey your friend has an impressive scar."

Phoenix walked up and added in "Scar still has memories of how he got his scar, but the dragon that taught us convinced him to embrace it that its like a mark that shows his strength."

Aretis added light into his claws and was slashing furiously

Aretis whisked Starz away.

He went back to the cave. Kitori was there waiting. He started. "Kay, now I propose a deal—"
Aretis growled. "Shut up! We don't have two days!" He barked.

Aretis tore the tentacle off. Kitori looked in shock.

OOC: Sorry, guys. I was busy for a bit, and I haven't had the time to come onto this.

Fireball nodded. "But there's still hope..."

OOC: that's okay fireball!

Orbit sighed softly. "I suppose..."

OOC: Where's everyone at?

Fireball blinked. "I suppose we can go looking for them? I mean, I know we haven't had luck, but there's still hope, right?"

OOC: lucien, skyer, casia, scar, and phoenix are all together at summer forest. ria is also in summer forest but she hasn't met up with the others yet. star is with the elders i think. star and aretis and kitori are all in a dark realm. fyre and lyra have yet to be introduced

Orbit nodded. "I suppose.." she said slowly, looking up at him. "There...there's always hope..."

"Where should we go?" Asked Fireball as he looked around.

Kitori frowned. "We'll go now." Aretis looked confused. "What?' "Back to your realm. "WHAT?" "I just said! Back to—" " I KNOW WHAT YOU SAID!!!" Aretis roared. "HOW DARE YOU MESS WITH US!!!"

Kitori backed off a bit. He smiled though. "But, it'll cost you two light crystals." Aretis groaned. "Really.....that's why...." He facepawed, forgetting that Kitori could use a supply of energy instead of generating his own for a dimension trip.

They both stopped and then looked at Starz. "Umm....nothing." They both said in unison.

Aretis quickly rushed to her side and caught her. "Shh, calm down. Just relax for a moment. Rrrgh." He looked at Kitori. "Fine." Kitori gestured with his fingers. "Well, come on then. Give it here." He said. Aretis blinked. Now, where had he left his crystals? "Uhh...."

Aretis blinked. "What do you mean?" He then remembered and took a light crystal out of his pocket. "Here." He said to Kitori and threw it to him. Kitori immediately began absorbing it's power.

Aretis widened and just held her. "Shh, stay with me. Stay with me Starz you hear. Remember, you're in control of your body. No darkness can take your soul."

Kitori made a portal. "It's ready." He said. Aretis slowly carried Starz to the portal.

"Just a past memory. One I'd rather not relive." he replied. Hearing Scar's remark, he flared with anger, "You think this is something to be proud of?" he said without raising his voice.

Lucien looked back to him, "Skyer." he said firmly.

Skyer just turned back to the river. "How long is he staying?" was all he could ask. Lucien didn't have an answer.

Casia looked into the rivers surface. "I know how that is, I've been running from the past for awhile now..."

"Just be glad Scar no longer uses it as an excuse to stay in the dark." Phoenix muttered.

"Hey it was only a compliment." Scar said.

"Yes, thank the gods for that!" Ria said, landing near Phoenix. She'd been circling over head and had just caught the end of her statement. She smiled brightly. "Phoenix, it's been ages, it's so good to see you again!"

Phoenix hugged her.

"Oh Ria it's good to see you too." she said.

"Hey Phoenix who's your hot friend?" Scar asked with a grin.

"Scar got rid of his darkness from the previous timeline though it cost him his memories. He doesn't even remember having feelings so basically he's been messing around with other dragonesses. I'm trying to make him fall in love with me again, but it has been harder than I thought." Phoenix explained in a whisper.

She let go of Ria.

Ria raised her eyebrows and pulled gently away from Phoenix. "Interesting..." she said in a cautious voice. "Just keep at it Phoen, don't give up." she whispered with a smile to Phoenix.

She shifted her gaze to Scar. "Hello again Scar, it's nice to see you looking less..um, angry." Ria said with a polite nod.

Aretis smiled. "Yes, we are." He murmured. Kitori sweatdropped. "Not exactly but." He shoved them through the portal before they could say another word and him himself went through the portal.

"WAaahg! What?" Aretis yelled as he was sucked into the vortex.

"Huh, weirdest compliment I ever got, but hey whatever." Scar said.

"A compliment nonetheless though!" Ria said with a smile.

Lucien reframed from saying a word, he simply walked over to Ria, and softly nuzzled her side, "It's good to have you back." he whispered. He looked to Skyer, "You may want to talk to Skyer though. Seeing Scar has up set him."

Skyer just sat quietly on the river bed, looking, staring at his reflection.

"It's good to be back." Ria whispered back with a smile. She kissed Lucien on the cheek and headed over to Skyre, not noticing quiet Casia. "Hey Skyer, how's it going little brother?" Ria said as she sat down next to Skyer. She still thought of Skyer as her brother after all this time.

Casia was peering into the surface of the water, watching a fish gurgle past.

"Lucien not matter how many times Scar tries to be a charmer to Ria, please don't kill him. He should back off after so many attempts and find another dragoness to mess with." Phoenix said.

"I'm kind of bored so I'm just going to take a fly around." Scar said before taking off.

They ended up in Kitori's dimension. Kitori panted. "Whew." Aretis sighed and shook his head for being so stupid.

In a far, shadowy outland strode a dark force. The dragoness stepped out into the sunlight and immediately retreated back into the shadows, a bright amulet sparkling around her neck.

"Come here..." Wynd said to what seemed to be shadows. Nothing was there to the sane mind, but, in Wynd's case, shadowmen stood behind her.
