I didn't have any of these characters, and as it seems none of the other Toys R Us got any wave 3 stuff, I was extremely lucky. Though for what it's worth, Toys R Us in B.C, in the areas connected by Skytrain (last time I called around) have plenty of singles of wave one stuff, and I think one store had a handful of Chop Chop. The location I got my 3 pack at, (the one on King Edward st near the Super Store. Short bus trip from the Braid Skytrain station) had LOTS of singles, and two pegs full of single Sonic Boom. Probably had about 8 or 10 of Sonic Boom there. Also had singles of Stump Smash, Drobot, and a few others. The largest selection I've seen since about November.

No sign of Cynder anywhere.

Just got a call from my wife ebgames in Ottawa ontario the bayshore shopping center has 3 packs in she grab one of the w.w.,d.t., d.s.. I only needed double trouble. But they have no singles. The manager there did say they are gettting some in everyday now though.


Also on a side note I know zellers was bought out by target and they will be switching over a few store this year, but has anyone seen any landers at any zellers because I havnt.

Nope. Never seen them at Zellers. Though before Christmas, The Real Canadian Superstore stocked them. I haven't seen any there since then though. I've frequently checked London Drugs too, but they don't stock them. : (

EBgames had stock in today had more then they have had in a while about 18singles and a few 3packs and adventure packs. I believe old ones my wife called at around 2:00 and told me what they had in today and that they had no cynders. She is checking TRU on her way home tonight.

It was the ebgames in bayshore shopping center ottawa on.

The tru and walmart on merivale in ottawa had nothing. TRu was bare and wal-mart didnt even have the space for them any more.

Does anyone know which stores in Canada deliver skylanders on weekends? Or is there any?

So I went all over today with no success, and this evening I decided for dinner I'd go for A&W at the mall food court. Despite the EBGames not having any Skylanders in their shipment a few hours prior, I went back in there anyways. To my astonishment, I was able to find and purchase this.



Apparently somebody had JUST returned it, and I came in at the perfect time. I'm WAY too lucky at this. I assume they returned it because the packaging is quite beat up. I imagine whoever bought it did what I did with my Drobot/Flameslinger/Stump Smash 3pack. I bought one of those 3 packs, but it was pretty banged up. I held on to it though, and decided that if I found another one, I'd buy that one, and return the beat up one. I assume that's what this person did too. Whatever the reason, I'm now all caught up! I'm really not in a huge hurry for Cynder, especially since I've heard she's kinda lousy in the 3DS game, so I'll wait until the next wave to get her in the 3pack. For now though, I'm going to be on the look out for singles of Flameslinger, Drobot, and Dino-Rang. Along with Hex and Stump Smash, those are my five favourite Skylanders, so it'd be nice to have them in sealed singles for the wall. (Already have sealed singles of Hex and Stump Smash.)

For those of you who have been having bad luck finding Skylanders, I apologize, because I think I've somehow been stealing all of your luck. Just remember, "Never give up, and good luck will find you."

I found this the same way you did but at Walmart.

Im kinda surprised stores except returns on these. Think about it they work without opening them so technically you could unlock everything in the game and never really spend a dime except for the starter. Just buy it claim ownership then return it. Kinda sleazy but I bet people have done it.

We know that's possible, but not everyone does.

I found the same triple pack in the pic (with Double Trouble) and Empire of Ice at EB Games. Still no Cynder though, dammit!

EBGames told me they don't. Not sure about other stores.

I know most don't but i can't remember if i asked them all. But i know most don't.Hopefully we will see more wave 3 stock in canada soon. Or at least in Ontario

I was at Metrotown today in B.C, and I got to the Toys R Us and there was a swarm of people in the electronics section all scooping up Skylanders they just got in stock. I saw a few parents leave with Empire of Ice, and there were a lot of other Skylanders too. After the crowd disbursed, there were only two Pirate Seas, and two Darklight Crypts. I scooped up a Pirate Seas, and nothing else. It was kind of scary watching that swarm of people all reaching for the shelf. Kinda glad I waited until the end of the madness, because I would have gotten belittled by the crazed parents for buying kid's toys.

Strange though that they got a shipment on a Saturday. :/

Just went to TRU, Best Buy and Walmart, I think Walmart isn't even carrying Skylanders anymore. They took down all the pegs that held the single and triple packs, and there was only 2 3DS starter packs left. I really hope not tho that was my prime Skylander resource.

Nah my Wal-Mart has not had a display since November....but they still get them in!

So yeah, no more Skylander hunting for me for a while. While at the mall I lost my bus pass, which is the only way I get out and hunt for Skylanders. So until I get it replaced (which could take a few weeks) I'll be stuck using the insanely expensive bus tickets to get around. So yeah, gonna have to lay low and conserve bus tickets until I can get my pass replaced. That's fine though. I'm caught up anyways aside from legendaries and Cynder, and since those are impossible to get in Canada right now, I might as well kick back and put a hold on the hunt. I'm still after some certain unopened stuff, but that can wait. Besides, having a few weeks off from hunting will be good because maybe by the time I have the ability to go searching again, they'll be easier to find.

I knew that with all of my good luck finding Skylanders, karma would eventually bite me in the butt. : /

i think i'm going to walmart and future shop this weekend, i'll check when i go

I kinda wish you didn't report him, as I have legit answers to that question.

a) I had just gotten home and was wearing a toque the whole time, so my hair was messy. I hadn't yet combed it before I took that picture
b) I twirl my hair, and when I get nervous or anxious, I pull at the hair near my forehead. Because of that, it pulls my hair out, and results in an uneven length across my forehead. The haircutters always ask the same question whenever I go get a haircut. Had it been combed before I took this picture though, it would have looked a lot more even.
c) I am long overdue for a haircut. Even when I comb it, at this length it's just kind of naturally messy.

I live in Calagry AB and i havnt seen any wave 3 yet but i guess thats because you cant even find wave 1 and wave 2.

If anyone is close enough. In whitby ontario canada toys r us they just got a bunch of triple packs in. Also wave 3 triple packs whirlwind,double trouble.They had about 5 of each so i would go now if you want one. I got mine just need cynder now.

went out earlier and checked the walmart in the train yards (Ottawa, On) and they only had starter packs so finally broke down and grabbed a 3ds starter. Then went to the best buy not far from there and same deal only starters so got a volcanic vault wii starter. Then went to the toys r us close by at st. laurent mall and they must have gotten some in recently because they had 1 three pack flame, drobot, stump. I left it because im only looking to have one full set. All I need now is cynder, regular chop, and regular bash (have the legendaries)

I'm from montreal / Laval. I work hard to found Skylanders figure. I called every days some local stores! Many times they said to me that they had received some Whirlwind 3-pack but that fly immediately!! I'm workin till 5h30 PM so I can't go to stores for buy them when thay arrived in stores... and all these sclapers... it's so frustrating.

Well, I hope this crazy "out of stock" things will stop before the stores recieved the new Skylander Giant (if it's real). I'm not sure that store will have a Rack for The first Skylanders + his sequel...

If you near montreal or Laval, let me know if you found something...

Well i ended up breaking down and purchased a cynder off evilbay. I'm so ashamed Ended up paying 25.50 plus 2.95 shipping. Not terrible but i swore to myself i would never do that. Oh well what's done is done. and who knows when canada 's gonna see any cynders. At least i have her comming. And if i find her berfore hand. I'll sell her for 15 bucks so this way i will have only paid like 13 or 14 for cynder that price i could live with. I know i could charge more and get almost all my money back but i just can't do it even 15 dollars is a bit high. I can't wait untill she shows up.

What is cynder like to play with?

The Toys R Us closest to me in B.C had Skylanders, and generally when one Toys R Us gets Skylanders in my area, they all do.

Sorry for the blurry picture. Taken on my cell phone, and after I took the first pic the employee shooed me away. You're technically not allowed to take photos in a store.

They had singles of Stump Smash, Flameslinger, Drobot, Prism Break, Voodood, and good ol Boomer. No gold Flameslingers or silver Boomers, but I didn't really care. I'm just so thrilled to finally have a sealed single of Flameslinger, even if the one I happened to pick up has a pretty awful paint job. (Could have stood there and compared, but I would have felt a tad silly doing that)

I picked up a Flameslinger, a Drobot, a Voodood, and a Prism Break. I already have sealed singles of Stump Smash and Boomer, so I didn't buy them.


Now I just need a sealed single of Dino-Rang and I'll have sealed singles of my five favourite Skylanders! (Hex, Drobot, Flameslinger, Stump Smash, and Dino-Rang)
