Eh, just that last part fits the bill. Once animals are the subject, species differences mean nothing.

And if I intrepret, "Bonding Time" right, what would be the correct terms are simple. For hetero, the term is "Coitus normalis" (Normal congress). For homo, "Coitus more ferarum" (Congress in the way of beasts). Oddly, dragonwise, I wold assume "Coitus fornicatum" (Arched congress).

And dont whine if the terms seem "offensive" or "unfair", its the medical terms.

Ironically I find every Spyro to be a different character in his own.

That's why I can go ahead and decide what Shipping I like from my opinion.

Classic = Elora and Spyro

Legend = Spyro and Cynder

Skylanders I have no clue but I do like Core of Light X Hydra...it's so sexy to be blasted into dust

And it's all somehow possiable because all those are in DIFFERENT UNIVERSES WITH DIFFERENT CHARACTERS AND DIFFERENT SPYRO'S.

For as much as I champion Spyro/Elora, I've always placed all the different Spyros in their own universes (it's canon, even).

Insomniac - Spyro/Elora

AHT/SL - Spyro/nobody

LoS - Spyro/a rock to the head or nobody

Skylanders - Spyro/nobody

He just doesn't strike me as a ladies' man in any of the games, but Insomniac Spyro was the only one of the lot to really ever seem to take notice of a girl (while the rest either don't notice or are actively trying to get away from one).

But, all that being said, I loves me some crack ships, so I'm pretty open for any of them until someone starts throwing around the "OTP whether you like it or not" hammer (which is why SxC can die in a fire).

Pfft agreed, I wish I knew her personalty a bit more. But she doesn't get enough credit from what I've seen; she's exaggerated as a stalker (she didn't follow Spyro in AHT, as far as I know, don't know about SL) and as the worse dragoness in the world.

I don't think she stalked Spyro in SL. In fact; she even sort of fell in love with someone else. :D

Seeing her for the first time in AHT it made me think of one of those little girls who get their first crush.
Which is adorable how she thinks Spyro likes her. XD

CrispyKat made me like Spyro/Ember all over again. Ember was pretty cute in SL. She didn't pay that much attention to Spyro and did a lot of frolicking in the dragon village. It was sweet when she got Bandit's letter, though.

I don't recall but did you really have to do the letter quest or could you let it slide

I think it was skipable like most of the quests. It just gave you extra exp.

You know I never really played SL. Is it good? Well for what a handheld SPyro game should offer?

I only played a little but of it on an emulator (heck I only played a little in the beginning), but I heard good reviews for it.

SL gets a bad rap, but I thought it was cute. Of the handheld Spyro games, it's one of the best.

Lets all talk about people who ship Characters with OC'S.

Because that scares the living hell out of me

I'm okay if the OC has a nice backstory and personality to them.

But when it's the mary-sues; I want to run away screaming.
ESPECIALLY when the fan children are horrible looking... and have cheap names like a cheap name on purple dragoness being born and her name is "Spyra". Which is just "Spyro" but sounds a bit more like a girl's name.

Okay. The "Spyro Jr." thing is just as bad to me.
It's just adding a /small/ something to the child's name. So none of it is creative. Like pairing names(which also annoys me to some extent).

I like it when people do research on names and meanings. Or maybe talk about a name they really liked and explained why they like it.

But that's just me.

I named my Spyro/Cynder fan kid Spira (but that's because it is Greek for "to breathe" and she's an asthmatic). Granted, she didn't come about in the conventional way, both of her parents weren't alive when she hatched, and she's a flightless, powerless, scaleless, hornless mutant baby who was adopted by a Manweersmall lady.

As a general rule, I don't like OCs. With perhaps two exceptions I know of, every single one of them who winds up with a canon character is a Mary Sue. The only one I like from the Spyro fandom is a character whose name I forgot, but she was a satyr nurse in Fracture Hills who was going to wind up with Elora. I thought she was brilliant and I miss talking to her writer.

I like Elora x Spyro because it's not cliche, unlike Spyro x Cynder.

It's something different and not to mention doesn't have an incredibly stupid fanbase.

Out of the fandoms; there are very few people who can bring themselves up to the challenge of pairing their character with a canon one. And most of the time; and almost everyone fails.
I usually just like it if the OCs are just "friends" with the canon characters rather than anything.
I dunno. It all just depends on the situation with me. :D

I'm okay with Spyro/Flame for fairness' sake, but I actually never picture Flame with anyone seriously. I much prefer Spyro.Sparx (which is more canon than Spyro/Ember in AHT; small, dark holes indeed, Sparx ). I'm all for Ember/Bandit, because I love strange canon couples (and my default setting is for the canon so long as it's not stupid (see: Spyro/Cynder)).

Ember x Bandit seems cute, but I still have to play SL to really get who Bandit is.

He's an armadillo who stole Ember from Spyro. Lol really, she basically sees him and is all like "eff you Spyro, Bandit is hotter" and her obsession ends right there. I don't really like Spyro x Ember, but Ember x Bandit was just... awkward imo.
