You've said this many times, and I've responde many times: They only do what they do because it's popular. If a large portion of gamers don't care for quality any more, that's thier problem not yours. If it ever gets to that point with Spyro, no one can or will force you to play. You can stop feeding the gaming giant you so completely loathe whenever you want. Furthermore Spyro and every other game for that matter is ALWAYS at the 'mercy' of the publisher/developer, and ALWAYS has the potential to be spectacular or poo.

Whatever...

At least they're giving Spyro's Kingdom time to develop fully.

And yes, lets hope this means something good for the little guy.

They're planning something unexpected with him, no doubt. All the hiding evidence, I bet they were going to surprise us.

I like suprises, unless it's a centipede in my coat...

But the game was accidentally leaked by a voice actor from the game. And we know that Spyro's Kingdom is in the works..

I know... Know what's kinda cool? Tom Bromhead has done VA work in Spongebob Squarepants, as has Tom Kenny. Also, both are name Tom. Just something I noticed.

IMO, the spyro should be a mix of TLOS and original Spyro.

I like that idea. I have an idea for a mixed appearance, but I suck at art.

I really think they need a mixed personality. I'd like LoS so, so much more if Spyro wasn't a complete drip of a character (no offense to those who liked him of course). That was my biggest gripe with the series.

Spyro seemed to be too bland, especially in DOTD.

Yeah, the total change in personality was my biggest issue too. A little augmentation where it's needed is fine, but to just erase EVERY part of who a character is is simply wrong IMO.

You guys know or have seen any concept art examples that may work with Spyro's Kingdom?

Not really, since I don't know what the game could be about, or where it is supposed to be set.

On a site called conceptart.org, there many artists, including the Artists who did the concept art on recent Spyro games including SL and ANB...

You don't if it will completely change from that.

That's why there's speculation..

That site doesn't seem to let you search by game; it'd be easier to use if it did, given that I don't know who exactly did the art for any Spyro game.

You can search the forums, that where they post their concept art. Use the search button.

If it is Wii, then I would like to see a Spyro game that pushes the hardware as much as Monster Hunter Tri or Sonic Colours.
Or something like Okami.

Imagine if they included those colorful worlds in DotD! That would have been amazing, especially with the art style they used!

I like this too, but perhaps it looked too happy for the game. Maybe this scene was competing with the Valley of Avalar and the creators knew they could only have one really slow scene. Although, I don't know how Valley of Avalar could have won, this scene is just so breath-taking.

Well, there were many complaints on Spyro being pink, so I hope he gets more purple. Like some say, that the dragons colour depends on their personality. Pink=Cute. Orange=Cool.
Something like that.

He was a dark purple, but in certain bright areas, he looked a bit pink.

Well, did you ever see that in some game qualities he turned completly bright pink?

That picture is actually at the end of the StD manual, so I always thought it was Spyro as an adult.

I think Ignitus should be his father, they have a warm bond...But what about his mother? I wonder if Activition would be good enough to intriduce Spyro˘s parents!? And maybe make the scene sad with some music and a dark scene...I have the picture in my eyes. Since Spyro never really made me cry at all or make my heart beat fast in such exitment. Sorry, I am getting off topic. xD

I still don't get why they didn't answer one of the biggest questions I and I think many others had about Spyro in the reboot. Who are his parents?!

I always thought it was Spyro too - Think about it. He's wearing a medal, probably from defeating Gnasty and saving the dragons.

But yeah, they screwed up by not showing us his parents in LoS. Even in classic Spyro we got an answer - The fairies deliver them

Probably won't happen, I'm afraid. Since one of the producers left to the Crash franchise, he won't talk about the story concept of the LoS since he's not in the Spyro franchise anymore. And Mike Graham is busy producing Spyro's Kingdom.

It would be interesting if they somehow mentioned and show a flashback of Spyro's past in Spyro's Kingdom, and that is where you'll find out about his parents.

That would only work if it was a flashback of another character, or a look into one of the Chronicler's books. It could only be Spyro's own flashback if it were another reboot, or another classic style.

Perhaps Spyro shall get dreams/nightmares of his parents as a message in the story. they could have a more unique style to their body, element(s) and personality. Perhaps even his sister or brother, or Sparx could have a dream of his parents, reciving a message that they died trying to guard an dragon egg and now Spyro has to gaurd it...Maybe it could be a rainbow egg or so?....Wow, I am going to far with this. xD

Not as far as I once went...

Ha, well, I guess it is fun to let your imagination to wild, but it might be a huge let down when the game comes out...
