Chapter 7:" Sadness and Angry"
As they made it to a safe spot, Dawn pushed out Hunter's grip. "Is everyone okay?" he asked. "No!" she said, crying. "What's wrong?" questioned Cynder. Dawn was only moving her head-left to right- repeating 'no' a lot of times. "You okay?" asked Pablo, walking up to Dawn. "Get away from me!" she cried out, backing up. "Hunter, what's going on?" asked Spyro. "So many questions..." whispered Dawn. As Hunter was about to respond, Dawn quickly said" Ignitus died because of me." "What?!" shouted out Rookie. "I let him die because of me!" she yelled. "How?" asked Sparx. "She disobeyed his command, and as he was about to make her leave, many Vhalzars and Lhoraks surrounded him," he answered. "And then, a huge Vhalzar stab him in the heart," he finished. "I have to go back and find him!" she yelled,running off. "No! Come back!" said Cynder, running after her. But she was already at her destination, looking for Ignitus's body. "Dawn, how are you suppose to heal him, if you lost your powers?!" exclaimed Rookie. "I have to try!" she replied, looking around. She finally found him, with blood stains all around him. "Ignitus?" she whispered. "When the Moon is high, a Dragon is nigh. Forget this fright, as we make it through this endless night!? she chanted. But nothing happened! She couldn't even turn Light, either. "Dawn?" said Pablo, standing next to her. "He's gone," she whispered. "It's all my fault," she continued. "It's not all of your fault." "Then who else is it?" she asked. "Maybe, he was trying to save us all, so that we can fight another time," he responded. "Perhaps," she said, putting her head down. "C'mon Dawn! Cheer up! It's not like it's the end of the world!" walked in Rookie. Both of them stared at him with a look. "Oh yeah," he said,walking toward them. "I can't believe he's gone," said Spyro. "Look, can we talk about this outside?I don't wanna face with the creatures again," shuddered Sparx. "He is correct! We have to move on," said Hunter. "Alright," sighed Dawn. As they finally walked more further down the underground, Pablo and Dawn both felt something wrong being there..... |
