Two weeks later, and the green egg still hadn't hatched. Spyro was watching over it, hoping that it will hatch. Sparx flew over. "It's alright, Spyro. Look on the bright side! You've got a daughter, and two sons. Isn't that good?" Sparx said, trying to cheer him up. Spyro sighed. "Look Spyro, I know it's tough, but I think you have to let this egg go." Spyro narrowed his eyes. "No! It just needs time." Spyro growled. Flora flew over next to Sparx, soon followed by Zippy and Nina. "Come on, Sparx honey, Spyro needs time by himself." Flora whispered. Sparx sighed. "Okay, come on, Zippy. Nina." Zippy stared at Spyro, then at the egg. "Face it! The eggs dead." Zippy retorted. Flora flashed her son a angry glance. "Zippy! Now, don't say that to Spyro! Now, come on!" Flora scolded at her son. "I'm sorry about Zippy," Flora whispered to Spyro. "It's okay." Spyro sighed. Zippy frowned, then followed his mother and father. Nina flew up to Spyro. "I'm sure it will hatch! Just give it lot's of love, and patince." Nina said sweetly. I wish I could believe that, Spyro thought.
"Thanks, but I think your parents are waiting for you." Spyro replied.
"Nina! Come on!" Sparx yelled. "Bye!" Nina called, as she whisked off.
Cynder then padded in, after Sparx's family had left. She was rousing Shadowtail and Iceflame with her tail, back into their nest.
"But we're not sleepy!" Shadowtail growled. "Yeah! We could stay up all night fighting Malefor." Iceflame added. Cynder shook her head.
"I'm sure you both could, but it's time for your nap. If you want to be big strong dragons, you need to rest." Cynder replied. "But-"
"You're mothers right. Now off to bed you two," Spyro added.
Shadowtail and Iceflame's tails drooped. "Okay," They both sighed, and sprang into their nest, on the other side of the room.
Cynder padded over to the nest where the green egg was. "Any cracks or movement yet?" Cynder asked. Spyro shook his head.
Maybe Sparx was right, Spyro sighed. "Egg hatched yet?" Came Terrador's voice. "Not yet, Father." Cynder replied. Terrador's tail drooped.
"Nevermind, I'm sure it will hatch soon." Cyril snorted from behind him.
"We've waited two weeks! Face it, the eggs dead." Volteer stared at Cyril with his mouth gaping open. "No! Don't say that, Cyril! It needs more time." Volteer growled at Cyril. Cyril rolled his eyes.
Darkflower padded in. "Still hasn't hatched?" She asked. "No." Spyro sighed. Darkflower's eyes clouded. "Nevermind, these things happen." Darkflower said. Just then, the green egg unexspectedly, cracked open, without any signs. A baby girl green dragon blinked up at the massive dragons before her. "The egg! It's finally hatched!" Spyro and Cynder exclamined at the same time. "See, I told ya so!" Volteer smirked at Cyril.
Cyril just glared at him. "Is it a boy or a girl?" Terrador asked.
"A girl," Darkflower replied, staring down at her half-sister. Imdently, Shadowtail and Iceflame woke up to hear what all the noise was about.
"The egg hatched!" Iceflame cried. "Do we have a new baby brother?" Shadowtail asked. Spyro smiled. "No, you have a little sister."
Shadowtail's and Iceflame's wings drooped. "Aw, we wanted another brother!" Iceflame growled. "Isn't she beautiful?" Cynder beamed.
Sparx and his family soon flew in. "Congradulations!" Flora beamed.
"Well, that egg sure did take a long time to hatch," Sparx added, looking down at the baby dragon. "Isn't she cute?" Nina squealed. Zippy just rolled his eyes. "What will you name her?" Volteer asked.
Spyro and Cynder looked at each other.
"Lucky," They both said.

7 Years later. . .
"Come on, Runt! You can do better than that!" Shadowtail teased, as he easily dogded his sister's pounce. "Don't call me Runt!" Lucky snarled, lunging towards her brother again. But Shadowtail was ready for her, and easily leaped over her. "Whooo! And Baby loses again!" Iceflame yowled, peerched high up on a rock. Why do they do this to me? Lucky thought miserably.
Shadowtail sat down proudly, with his tail tucked underneath his paws, with his chest puffed up, as he flexed his wings. "And don't call me Baby, either! Just because I'm smaller than you-" "And weaker, and more stupid, and slower. . ." Iceflame smirked. Lucky clawed the earth angrily.
"Just stop it! I'm sick of it!" Lucky yelled, flicking dust into Shadowtail's and Iceflame's face. Shadowtail and Iceflame spat, and tried to wipe the dust out of their eyes. "Okay, now you really blew it, Runt." Shadowtail growled. "Yeah, and this time we won't be easy on you," Iceflame hissed, leaping down from his rock. Lucky gulped.
Now I've really done it, Lucky thought as she fleed for her life, with her brothers hard on her paws. Lucky knew that she stood no chance aganist them. But she had to try. "Mother! Father!" Lucky yelped. "Shadowtail and Iceflame are chasing me!" Just then, a flash of purple swooped down from the sky, followed by a flash of black. Lucky stopped, and so did her brothers. Spyro and Cynder landed in front of their daughter, glaring at Shadowtail and Iceflame.
"Shadowtail!" Spyro snarled. "Iceflame!" Cynder hissed. Shadowtail and Iceflame gulped, shooting their sister an angry look. "What have we told you two about chasing your sister?" Spyro growled. "You know she's not as fast and as strong as you." Cynder added.
"I guess we just got carried away," Shadowtail lied. Spyro shoot his son an I-know-your-lying-look, then said; "What do you have to say for yourselfs?" "We're sorry, Lucky." Shadowtail and Iceflame muttered.
"Now, come on. It's getting dark," Cynder said, as she picked Lucky up. Spyro then took off into the sky, followed by Cynder, Shadowtail and Iceflame. Thank the ancestors Mother and Father came, Lucky thought. Shadowtail flew up, closer to Lucky.
"Mummy and Daddy won't always be around to save you, Runt. And when that time comes. . ." Shadowtail growled. Iceflame flew up to his brother.
". . .We'll get you," Iceflame finished. Lucky swallowed hard.
I hope that luck is with me next time.

Lucky couldn't sleep that night. Even when she had listened to Volteer tell one of his stories, she still couldn't sleep. She was scared about what Shadowtail and Iceflame were going to do to her, when Spyro and Cynder won't be there to save her. But their my brothers, they wouldn't hurt me. Lucky remined herself, but she found that hard to believe.
Lucky would have to leave, for her own saftey. She quietly crept out of her nest, making sure she wouldn't be heard. Terrador was snoring his head off, while Volteer and Cyril were muttering in their sleep. Shadowtail seemed to be punching the ground, while Iceflame snored.
Spyro was curled up with Cynder, their tails linked. They didn't make a sound.
Lucky gulped. I don't want my parents to worry about me, but it's for my own good. I'm a runt, I was never meant to be born.
Lucky then opened the door, making sure that the others couldn't hear her, then she ran out into the night.

Well, Lucky was just born late. That's all. And she's incredibly smart, smarter than her age. Lucky's only seven.

Lucky kept on running. She wasn't sure where she was going to go, but as long as it was far away from the Temple as possible. Maybe I could go to the Dragon City? The moles will welcome me there, since they know my mother and father. Lucky thought, as her paws thundered across the earth, flicking up specks of dirt as she went. No, as soon as Mother and Father start looking for me, the first people they'll ask the moles from the Dragon City to know if they had seen me. No way am I going there.
Lucky stopped, and panted heavily. She sat down, and looked up at the moon.
Lucky sighed, and felt sleep come to her. But she couldn't stop here, Spyro and Cynder would find her easily. Along with Shadowtail and Iceflame. Lucky shivered at the thought of her brothers. She always hated them, and they always hated her. 'Come this way,' Hissed a voice in Lucky's ear. She whipped her head around. "Who said that?" Lucky asked, with a shiver in her voice. It must be the wind, Lucky thought, as she calmed down a little. 'Come this way, to Malefor's Lair.' Lucky froze on the spot. That wasn't wind. Malefor's Lair? No way! Lucky quivered at the thought of the evil purple dragon, Malefor. The very dragon who currputed her mother, and tried to kill her father and the world.
"But why? Why Malefor's Lair?" Lucky yelled out into the night. 'Come and find out.' The voice whispered. Lucky wasn't sure if she imaged this, but she was to tired to think. Finally, sleep came over her, and she fell asleep.

When Lucky awoke, sunlight beamed down on her face. Lucky winced and sat up. Her stomach growled. Maybe I should go back to the Temple. . .no! Shadowtail and Iceflame will be waiting to kill me if I go back there. Lucky thought as she padded on. Suddenly, Lucky came to a large cave. I wonder who lives in there? Lucky wondered. She could scent other dragons in the cave, but all of them were unfamilar.
Suddenly, two young dragons skipped out of the cave. One was a pink-she dragon, with blue eyes and black spoltches. The other was black and red male dragon, with blue eyes. "Darkflame! I know the best game we could play!" The pink dragon smiled. The black dragon sighed. "What is it Rosewing?" Darkflame grumbled. "We could practise pouncing on-top of each-other!" Rosewing beamed. Darkflame rolled his eyes. "But we played that yesterday," Darkflame growled. Rosewing narrowed her blue eyes. "So? We can play it again!" Darkflame and Rosewing got into an agrument, and Lucky was so intrested that she didn't see a flame-coloured male adult dragon standing behind her. "Who are you?" Snarled a voice that made Lucky jump. Oh no! I've been spotted! Lucky thought sadly. She turned around. "Umm. . .I'm Lucky, don't worry, I'm just passing through." She said calmly. The male dragon narrowed his eyes. "Aren't you a bit young to be on your own?" He asked. Before Lucky could reply, the red dragon said; "Hold on! Your Spyro's daughter, aren't you?" Lucky nodded her head slowly. "I'm. . .um. . ." But before she could say anything more, a adult female pink dragon shoved her way through.
"Flame! What are you doing? Who's this?" The pink dragon snapped. Flame sighed, and turned towards the pink dragon. "Ember, this is Lucky, Spyro's and Cynder's daughter. . .I think-" Flame stammered. Ember narrowed her eyes and hissed. "I don't care about Spyro! And I don't care about Cynder either! What is she doing here?" Ember growled. Lucky quickly snuck away while the two siblings were fighting.
Thank goodness, that was lucky- Suddenly, Lucky bumped into an adult male black dragon. "What are you doing here?" He snarled. Oh shoot. "I'm just passing through," Lucky snapped as she sped past the Zarki. "Hey! Come back here!" Zarki yelled. Lucky didn't even look back. She just kept on running.

Lucky went to Ember and Flame's house! (and Zarki's) Cool! Please continue!

Darkflower flew over the forest, hoping she would spot her half-sister soon. Darkflower had snuck away in the middle of the night, when she noticed that Lucky was missing. She didn't tell her father, Cynder or anyone else where she had gone. She knew that Spyro and the other's would be looking for her and Lucky, extremely worried, scared, confused and upset. But Darkflower had to go, she had to find her sister. I'm not going to let Lucky go, not like how Twilight and Starlight disapeered. Darkflower sighed, and remebered the smiling face of her half-sister, Starlight, and the brave determened face of her half-brother, Twilight. She knew that Spyro and Cynder missed them the most, Twilight and Starlight were their first children. Before she came along, anyway.
Darkflower swooped down lower, her tail skimming the treetops. She hoped that Ember, Darkflower's mother, hadn't found Lucky wondering in the woods. She may of even stumbled across her mother's and her uncle Flame's cave! But she knew that Lucky would find a way to escape, if she did come across Ember's cave. Darkflower sighed. Oh, Lucky, where are you? Darkflower whispered to herself.

Zarki charged towards Lucky, yelling at her. "I said, come back!" Zarki screeched. "Leave me alone!" Lucky screamed. Zarki then used his ShadowFire breath on Lucky, stunning her. Black shadows flickered around her. Zarki smiled. "Now, tell me, why are you here?" Zarki hissed. Why can't he just leave me alone! "I-I-I s-said, leave m-me al-alone!" Lucky cried as green venom spat out of her mouth, and straight onto Zarki's face. Zarki cried in pain. "You little monster! You poisoned me!" Zarki yelled. "Zarki? Zarki! What's going on!?" Lucky heard Ember yell. She soon felt the ShadowFire effect wore off, and sprinted away.
Maybe I should go back to the Temple; even if I have to face Shadowtail and Iceflame. Lucky shook her head. No! I'm running away, and besides, I think someone-or something-wants me to go to Malefor's Lair. Suddenly, Lucky felt something yank her up by her tail. She screamed. "Hey! Let go of me!" Lucky thrashed about, and saw that Flame was holding her. "Sorry, my sister told me too." Flame whispered to her. Ember stomped over. "Why, what do we have here? A little trouble-maker? Your Spyro's and Cynder's daughter, aren't you?" Ember growled. "I'm not answering any of your questions!" Lucky snapped.
"Mama, who's this?" Rosewing asked from behind Ember. Ember scolded at her daughter. "Hush, Rosewing; I'll tell you later." "But we want to know now!" Darkflame added from behind his sister. Zarki growled at his son and daughter and they nodded and kept quiet.
"Look here, you little brat! Nobody, and I mean nobody, comes across my territory without permisson! And since you also hurt Zarki, you are now prisoner." Ember hissed. Lucky stared at the pink dragoness. She can't do this! "You can't do this to me!" Lucky growled. Ember laughed. "Oh, yes I can!" Rosewing squealed with excitement. "Yay! I finally have someone to play dragon princess with!"
Lucky couldn't believe it. Flame then padded towards his cave, and chucked Lucky in a smaller cave, and shoved a giant rock to block the entrance. "I'm really sorry, Lucky, I don't want to do this." Flame sighed. Lucky almost started to cry; she didn't want to be here. And she defiantlly didn't want to play with Rosewing, either.

This story is dying. . .why am I bothering to post on this stupid story?
