Iive stood behind Viper, ready to catch her in case of emergency.

Viper nods.
"I'll check it out for you. I'll make sure she's back safe and sound."

"I'll help out as well. Never hurts to have backup" Iive says with a smile

OOC: You can start wherever you'd like, S-G. I started my characters off in a bar

Viper nods.
"We'll be careful, point is to where Storm went."

Joscelyn stood next to Iive.
"Thanks for the support, Iive. I don't want you getting hurt though, so I'm your guardian, alright?" He said, smiling at her.

Viper nods.
"Alright. I promise we'll get Storm back for you." She says solemnly.

"I'll be fine" Iive chuckles, looking at Josie. "Well, let's go then! No time wasted!" Iive says loudly

Josie shook his head.
"I'm still going to watch you." He said.

Viper heads out the door with Josie close behind.

Viper hears Storm's yell and races towards where she hears the sound. She hides around the corner of a worn down building as she sees guards in front of the entrance to the building Storm was in.
"Great." She mutters. "I'm definitely not reckless enough to dive headlong into that mess."

Joscelyn nods agreement.
"I'm sure not engaging either. We need another way in. Like, a vent or something." He says.

Iive unsheathed her sword "Screw that! Let's just charge right in! They won't see it coming!" Iive said, obviously a bit too excited for her current situation

Joscelyn grabbed Iive's shoulders before she could run.
"Hold it there, little hummingbird." He says. "No one wants you dying. You can't just run in headfirst. That's how you lose your friends." He says, a quick flash of pain showing in his gaze at those words before it disappeared.

Viper did not respond. She appeared hurt as well.

Iive frowned as she sheathed her sword. "Fine" She grumbled "There's probably a vent somewhere. Let's start looking"

Josie smiles.
"I'm looking out for you. Let me at least do that since you've done so much for me." He says, one hand still resting on Iive's shoulder as he looked straight into her eyes, his sea green-blue eyes holding warmth in their gaze.

Viper looked around the armory walls for a vent while Josie talked Iive out of her decision to recklessly charge.

Iive started to blush but quickly shook it off and playfully rolled her eyes "Fine. Let's just look for a vent, and quickly"

Josie nodded, noticing that Iive had blushed. He gave her a smile, and then joined Viper, who had called out to him about finally finding a vent.

"Alright Viper!" He laughed quietly, patting her on the back with a grin. "You're not getting too old for this resistance stuff." He jokes.

"Oh hush." Viper quickly shushes him.

Iive wasted no time prying off the vent cover with a small dagger. She quickly crawled inside and began squirming down the vent. "Come on guys! We have a Storm to save!" She called out after them

Josie slipped in behind Iive, and he was followed closely behind by Viper. The three made their way through the vents until they came to the vent above the room Storm was in.

"We need to wait for the right moment to strike now. There are a lot of guards down there." Viper whispers softly as she surveys the room through the vent cover bars.

"I still vote we just jump in, but I guess I can wait" Iive says with an impatient sigh

"Iive, if we do that, we're all dead. And I don't want to lose you or Viper." Joscelyn frowned, looking to Iive.

"I know, I know, I'm waiting" Iive says staring down at the room

"Little hummingbirds don't always have to be hyper hummingbirds." Josie teased, sticking his tongue out at Iive.

"Sure they do! If you're not a hyper hummingbird, then what's the point of being a hummingbird!?" Iive says with a grin as she looks at Josie

Josie couldn't help laughing softly.
"Oh come on now. If you're always hyper, you'll get tired quickly. You have to be calm and level-headed so that you can visit all the flowers that you need to. And besides, you don't have to be a hyper hummingbird to be beautiful." He smiles. "Right Viper?"

"Josie, I don't want any part in your metaphors." Viper mumbles back.

"Being calm is boring... But.. you think I'm beautiful?" Iive giggles

"Sometimes being calm is good." Joscelyn laughs. He then blinks as he hears the last part of Iive's question. "Yeah, I do. At least, you're much prettier than Viper over here with her weird hair and eye colors." He jokes.

"Okay. Now you're insulting me. Joscelyn I'm going to actually beat you the next time I hear something rude like that come out of you again." Viper growls angrily, turning to glare Josie down with her piercing violet eyes.

"Oh please no! You hit hard! I didn't mean it! I swear!" Joscelyn whimpers softly, backing behind Iive. He knew Viper was actually ticked off since she had used his full name. She never did unless she was serious.

"I would refrain from insulting your friend over there, espiecially if you're gonna use me as a human shield!" Iive says with a stern whisper as she looks back at Josie

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Saints, everyone is teaming up on me now." Josie said sadly, shaking his head. He crept a distance away from everyone and just leaned back against the vent wall, his knees tucked to his chest, dog tags clicking against each other. He looked like a sad little kid, his head resting on his arms, which were folded on top of his knees.

"Josie no one's pitying you." Viper calls softly to him, but it was obvious she cared, since she glanced back once to look at him with a concerned glance, and looked a bit hurt at how far away from them he was sitting.

Iive frowns and crawls over to Josie and gave him a tight hug "Cheer up, Josie. I'd offer you a flower but for once in my life I don't have one." Iive says with a small smile.

"Iive you don't have to pity him either." Viper says, glancing towards Iive.

"But he's sad! If you're sad you should have someone with you!" Iive says with a frown

Viper looked at Iive.
"Yeah. But there's sad, and then there's wanting pity."

Josie rested his head on Iive's shoulder as she argued with Viper. He didn't think he needed to interfere.

"I think he's just sad. What would he want pity for?" Iive said, slightly startled by Josie's head on her shoulder.

"Do you really think that Josie would be sad about something small like this? I mean, it's Josie." Viper said.

Josie shrugs.
"She has a small point." He says, leaning against Iive gently.

"So are you just trying to get pity?" Iive asks Josie

Josie looks up at Iive.
"Hmmm. Yes and no." He says. "It did hurt getting scolded by you and Viper, but I'm a quick recoverer, so yes and no."

"It was a yes or no question not a yes and no question, you dummy" Iive said, playfully rolling her eyes yet again.

Josie grins.
"But if I picked one or the other, it wouldn't be the full truth, now would it?" He inquires.

"Does it matter anymore?" Iive let out an annoyed sign, sinking down to the floor.

OOC: Wait, she was standing up?

Josie laughs quietly and smiles at Iive.
"I don't think it does anymore." He laughs, his hand brushing Iive's as he shifted into a more comfortable sitting position.

OOC: No, she was sitting but now she's like basically laying down XD

Iive blushed as Josie's hand touched hers. She turned her head to avoid looking at him. "Stop that..." She mumbled silently.

OOC:

"Are you hot? You're face is red." Josie asks Iive, looking down at her. He places his hand on her forehead. "I don't think you're running a fever." He says. "If that was the case, then you would've gotten sick pretty fast." He laughs.

"I'm not sick, you idiot" Iive grumbles, trying to hide her embarrassment by curling up into a ball.

"Aww I was joking Iive. I know you aren't sick. If it makes you feel better, it is pretty hot and stuffy in here. It's not your fault that the heat made your cheeks red. I mean heck, even I'm breaking a sweat in here." Josie says, trying to cheer Iive up. His fair blonde hair was pasted to his cheeks and the nape of his neck by sweat, and he wiped the back of his wrist across his forehead.

"Really doesn't" Iive groaned, refusing to look up. "How much longer until we get this show on the road?"
