I wasn't buying the "changing dates around for the sake of needless mystery" argument last pags but I really can find no other reason to delay then suddenly be earlier than ever.

I got a shiping email with a FedEx tracking number on my BuzzWing. :D

I suspect that the box will be empty or filled with live bees. Because GameMaster said they weren't coming out.

I don't think it was claimed to be for intentional mystery. It was more like stuff was going on behind the scenes and as usual they would not tell us what was happening. I'd almost rather they set a date and stuck to it.

TRU e-mail says Buzz Wing shipped for me as well.

Guys! Those emails are all hoaxes of the Skylluminati in an effort by Activision to distract the masses into thinking they won't kill the franchise off!

My TRU order status shows Buzz Wing as shipped, but Thrilliepede is listed as "Back-ordered".

Not too concerned, it'll ship when it ships.

It claims my Buzz wing should be here by the fifth.

Gah, why didn't I preorder?! Oh well, I guess I'd get more enjoyment of of them if I get them after school's out in a few weeks...

I wouldn't be surprised if that happened, but at the same time I think they learned their lesson from LC Hex.

My buzz wing says it will be here on the 5th, but thrillipede is back ordered. Strange for both since the rerlease date was supposed to be May 24th.

I think the store date could potentially be the 28th, due to that pic SCL found.

This wouldn't be the first time stuff came out online before their official store release. Take the Easters, for example.

I believe the 28th on that pic was April 28th. That column is the last updated date most likely, and has obviously passed without release. Who knows what they are planning for regular Thrillipede, maybe trying to spread it out into two releases (vehicle and figure) for marketing - or worse, maybe the interest in the figure was lower making them consider - shudder - making it a pre-order bonus for Skylanders 6. I'm glad the Buzzwings are coming out, but simply don't get why they are playing games with the last unique figure (discounting the variant of him already out for some time). They may figure, hey you can play as him now and we can get some Sky 6 pre-order mileage out of the regular one.

A word of warning though if any Activision types do actually read this stuff, holding him back to get pre-orders is a guaranteed way of really making your long term collector fans really mad. You don't have the interest in the franchise you did back for Swap Force, it will probably kill the franchise for the people that still collect. Having a few months of respite between games with nothing to annoy us about the franchise's terrible and completely unnecessary release strategy goes a long way towards getting people back on board for a new game. You don't want us to spend the entire lead up to the game with a constant reminder at how much they suck at getting the fans what they want. Oh and don't forget the piles of unsold Lightcore Hexes they couldn't even give away from the last time someone got that "brilliant" idea.

For now, I still going to assume the date the 24th for stores, but I know that might change.

I got mine today to. Dam padded envelope my package was smashed up! I am now in need of thrillipede and I will then have every figure. Yeah buddy.... Very nice Buzz Wing is.

I'll probably call in tomorrow to see if they have them in store or at least an idea when they will be on the shelves. Would it be worth it, or should I wait?

Oh my bad, read it wrong. Yeah, bubble mailers suck, especially since you like to keep yours packaged. If it comes damaged, call them about a replacement and you can still play it in the meantime. I'm sure it will hit stores in the next week, you can just exchange it if they cannot replace it online.

However, you might get lucky and it come perfect or in a box. Think positive!

BTW UnlceBob, mine came in an envelope undamaged, except for an extremely minor bend of the cardboard that would easily flatten out if I didn't rip the box open anyways. Hopefully yours survives as well.

I have to say, it is a very nice model they saved for last. The fold out, button press flapping wings are pretty cool.

I had ordered two, and was lucky enough to get mine in an oversized box. Perfect condition. Coudn't find anyone in an online race though.

You should have seen the Star Wars Battlegrounds I got from Dell in a non padded envelope. I think they backed the truck over it. Dell fixed it and sent me a new one, but it took an hour on the phone and waiting two more days.

I talk to someone at my local Toys R Us today, and they said that Battlecast, Thrillipede and Buzz Wing are all set in the computer for the 24th still.

Weird,yesterday someone said Battlecast was pushed to June 1st.
