So, do we need a hacker to look inside the file system of the latest update? That would TRULY confirm if they've added new characters past the launch.

My guy at TRU said it is in the system (along with Birthday Bash Pop Fizz, who was supposed to be out tomorrow), and supposed to come out today, but none in the back. He thinks that maybe the big snowstorm in the us might have delayed the trucks, and that might be why we aren'y seeing them.

In other news, I did think of a neat idea for future titles (that *could*, in theory, work here... but I doubt it). Instead of having secret characters on-disc or in a pre-downloaded patch, simply put a routine in the game that if a specific 'unknown' figure is scanned, the system connects to the internet and downloads the update for *that* character. No worries about dataminers looking through to find the new characters. There'd have to be some disclaimers on the package for the figure that an internet connection is required. Once the figure is officially released and everyone knows about it, the figure info could be included in a larger game-patch down the road (so only early adopters would have to download as-needed, latecomers would just get it all at once).

I think the guy that said he knows there's a crash skylander just saw the word Crash in the system and got too hyped, just like the customers. I'm gonna go a step further and say if the Crash item is a Crash Bandicoot pack, I will sing the Stan Wrong Song in front of everyone in my local Toys R Us while holding Crash Bandicoot, then change my avatar to Shroomboom and praise him as the one true Skylander for at least a week.

I'm mean I was doubtful to, but how else do you explain the extra vehicle in the collection menu?

Look,lots of people said they'd eat their hats or do painful things to their (redacted) if Cloud and Bayonetta made it on Smash or if X Kickstarter reached this goal. Don't make promises you can't keep as unlikely as they sound,seriously.

I already explained that there is no extra vehicle on the stats screen. The stats screen includes variants. My land vehicles are 8 of 10 and both of my se and sky are 5 of 6. I am missing Soda Skimmer, Buzz Wing, Gold Rusher and Tomb Buggy. I have 18 of 22 for the Xbox One, but there are only 18 known vehicles. OMG, that means there are 4 new vehicles we know nothing about. Wrong answer. It is called variants. I have the Nitro Stealth Stinger, the Dark Sea Shadow, Dark Hot Streak, and Golden Hot Streak. No extra vehicles. Little kid video debunked. Please stop bringing up some little kid who was looking for extra YouTube subscribers.

You could at least try to be less rude about being right.

Also, Power Blue variants. If they're not on the list,then they might be added to the count via patch or unlock the extra.

Variants are only added to your collection screen when you play them. If you never play them, your collection screen only shows the original vehicles. I am sorry if I sounded rude.

Didn't know about the variant thing, that's a way of keeping casual collectors happy with their stats.

If this happens then film your Stan Wrong Song performance and post it on here. Now I really hope it is Crash.

I actually hope there is something that they reveal. With last year's Light and Dark elements and with Activision actually patching the game this year, I definitely think that it is a likely possibility that they reveal something. Adding the area where you can decorate your vehicles is pretty neat and I would love for them to add some more surprises.

I am honestly against Crash becoming a Skylander this year simply because my collection would swing out of balance. One element would have one skylander too much and I DON'T want that to happen, it's hard to keep an even number for all elements (I'm still working on it).
They can bring him next year as one of the new characters. They could also bring Rosalina & Meta-Knight as the next Skymiibos, sadly that would be unfortunate for my wallet and the harmony of my collection.

well... if it was a crash bandicoot it would only really be for playstation because he is a sony character. so that mean rip xbox and nintendo. i have a feeling its some variant or perhaps a new light or dark character to truly give us the 40 total characters and not 36 because DK and bowser dont count.

No, Crash has had game on Nintendo consoles, such as the Wii.

Crash's IP belongs to Acti, who panders to any console. Sony could make an exclusivity deal but doesn't seem likely unless they really want an extra game about him or something.

Either way, he'd be released in 2016, whether they release him for this game or the next one. If for this one though, I can't imagine them holding off his reveal much longer due to all of this hooplah getting out. I mean, people tore them to shreds over the Light and Dark Skylanders in Trap Team last year, Crash Bandicoot would be that only like ten times worse.

We have a truck coming Wednesday, with stuff being put out on/by Thursday. With three items expected out near that time there should be something by then.

I think the "Crash" item, if Crash Bandicoot, will be Crash and his vehicle, hence the $25 pricing.
Also i talked to my store people today, but they said they knew nothing, but they always get shipments behind, and it is a possibility that the shipments are on their way

That's a good theory. Maybe they named it "Crash" to hide the Nintendo Dual Packs, so they can have more sales on the Nintendo Starter Packs, then everyone hates Activision that they spent $75 for the figures, but now, by themselves for only $25. It wouldn't be the first time.

Also,now that Battlecast's blindbag system was announced, any chances it's related. It doesn't seem anywhere close to Battle or Booster packs but maybe one of those dueling mats or whatever. I'm really out of the loop with TCGs.
