OOC: I understand if you want to work that into his personal narrative, but it can't become a major story event. I have a plot I'm trying to work on, and I intend for it to be followed.

Celeste turns around to look at Myrin for a moment. "Uh, kid? We're over here. I wouldn't recommend getting separated. This place gets weird at night." She turned back to the rest of the group, waiting for an answer to her previous question.

"He, he, he... Did you just call me kid? Oh my, do I look that young? He, he, he...I guess I do. I don't age, but I assure you that I am no kid. He, he, he... No way. He, he, he... Oh my...He, he, he..," Myrin says chuckling as he stands beside the others. Anyone that knew him, that knows him as his true self would be laughing as well.

OOC: Also, is Myrin still in his actual form or his human one?

"Yeah..." Celeste replies. "Don't take it personally. I call everyone 'kid,' it's a habitual thing." Again, she lingers, waiting for an answer from the group, as well as for any stragglers to catch up.

OOC: He just transformed back as he reached them. He has been in his unicorn form most of the time. He longs for freedom, to not have to have to hide his true self from others.

Running a hand through his long snow-white hair, Myrin says nothing in response to this. He just sits down on a hill of rubble and watches the others. Boy if his companions were to find out who he really was, they would have a good laugh about all of this.

Darin stood beside the others, watching as Myrin changed back to his humanoid form. He could tell the "kid" longed for true freedom and felt much the same. To be able to coexist without limiting himself... something he wished for dearly.

He then looked at Celeste. "We're here in search of a certain artifact-- something that may reside in this area.," he finally answered being a tad vague.

"Artifact?" Celeste replied. "I could help, if I knew what you were looking for." She took a final drag off of her cigarette before tossing it away. "I'm the barkeep at a place nearby. I hear a lot of stuff."

"I'm mostly tagging along... I can't say that I've seen it, myself." Gabe said, trying his best to remain honest with his phrasing.

Celeste sighed. "Look, I need something to go on if I'm going to be any help. If you can't discuss it in mixed company, my place is just up the road," she said, rubbing her temples aggressively before taking out another strange cigarette.

Darin nodded then looked back at the others. "If no-one has any rejections..," he quietly said.

"No objections here... I'd kinda like to find out what's goin' on, myself." the large dog-man answered, as he continued to stand with the group.

OOC: You guys are the only ones on, and I'm not sure how frequently everyone else will be participating. You want to wait for everyone to catch up to where the story is, or just press on?

((OOC: I was thinking of heading to bed soon, so I think it'd be best to wait for everyone to catch up.))

OOC: That's a good idea. I'll shoot everyone a PM just to make sure they know the story is moving.

OOC: Agreed.

Ooc: Sorry I haven't responded because I got a new phone yesterday and completely forgot about Ds lol

OOC: It's alright. I'm waiting for everyone who hasn't posted in awhile to catch their characters up to the plot. You know, just respond to Celeste's offer, or whatever would be appropriate to place them where they need to be in the plot right now.

OOC: They're standing in place right now lol

Ooc: Oh I thought were walking to Celeste's place lol

OOC: I don't remember starting to walk. I don't think Celeste did at least. I think Wolfgang made a minor error

"I guess." Axel said.

Ooc: sorry about this been pretty busy.

Sorin was thinking " Hmm maybe this is somekind of illegal deal or something, if so I want in" He was thinking so much that he did not notice that the group had stoped and so he walked directly towards Gabe and walked into him. "Damn it how did I not follow them at all a very stupid mistake" Sorin thought.

Gabe turned to face the figure that had bumped into him, confused rather than angry. "Huh? Oh, you might want to watch where you're walking." he said, giving a kind smile.

Myrin remains quiet as the others talk. He is content just listening and breathing in the fresh air. His stomach grumbles and he finds a place to sit. Removing his pack, he sets it down and pulls out on of the Styrofoam containers, and opens it up. Inside is a delicious looking, mixed salad. Taking a small packet of Raspberry Vinaigrette, he spreads it over the salad, before taking a plastic fork and starting to eat.

Melissa turns to the newcomer, "And who may you be? Friend or foe?"

Sorin had waited an angry comment at least or maybe just attack against him, now when nothing really happened he was just confused " Yea, sorry about that." Sorin answered trying not to show his amazement. Then Sorin turned to Melissa " It depends" Sorin answered.

OOC: Alright. Now we can get everything going again.

"I'm assuming you're ALL a part of this little foray?" Celeste asked, more rhetorically than out of curiosity. "Well, come on then. My house is just down that street."
Celeste started forward, eventually leading them down one of the district's smaller roads.

"Come on guys. If you want to come-- come.," Darin said as he proceeded to follow.

Gabe gave a slight nod, as he went to follow Celeste, with his friend close in tow.

Axel looked around at his surroundings. He'd never seen this part of Greenway before. He was looking at everything he saw and then he bumped into someone. "Hey!" the person said. "Sorry, I wasn't paying attention." Axel said. "Yea, no kidding." the person said. He walked off steamed because all Axel did was get a little dust on his suit. "Wow," Axel said. "People must be really rude in this part of town, to."

"You have not seen anything yet." Sorin said to Axel, and went after Others.

"After living on the streets of Greenway for 13 years, yea I think I have." Axel replied

Only a little bit up the road, Celeste came to a small brick house with a few glowing runes enscribed on the outer walls. Rather than a door, there was a large curtained opening leading inside. Celeste reached out and touched what appeared to be an invisible barrier. She traced an odd pattern into it, and then pushed aside the curtains.
"The ward is dissipated," she said, heading in. "You should be able to walk right in. I'll enable the ward again once everyone is inside."

Darin looked at the runes briefly before proceeding. "Smart.," he commented as he walked in.

"Huh... I've heard about this kind of magic. It wards intruders and scrying spells, correct?" Gabe asked, as he followed her.

"Nice place." Axel said. He hadn't seen such a fancy place since... he lived in his mom and dad's house. He tried to get the thought to go away.

OOC: The place is actually pretty shabby But if Axel thinks it's nice, that's fine. Just thought I should tell you.

Celeste shrugged. "You could say it's a modified version of your average protective ward. Keeps most bugs out, too," she said. "I can't exactly use actual doors. Too tall, never learned an alternate form."

"I see.," Darin said looking at the entryway. "Must be hard to get around town.," he then said.

Celeste shrugged. "Not as hard in this district. It's a bit of a dump, half the doors here are missing anyway," she said. "There are mages who specialize in installed wards, but most folk here do their own. Mine is self-made. Not as strong as it could be, I can feel it fading. I'll have to renew the spell in a month."

"But since the place is full of mages, couldnt they just take it down at will?" asked Mwlissa

Celeste shrugged. "I guess they could," she replied. "We're a tight-knit neighborhood, though. We look out for eachother. Besides, ward-breaking spells of that capacity aren't common knowledge unless you work in law enforcement."

Melissa nodded and weny through, "All right then,"

The house's interior was as well-kept as it could get, considering the all-around poor condition of the place. There were tables, chairs and other sorts of furniture, but most of them were pushed somewhere out-of-the way. Celeste began moving these furniture items back into place as she waited for the rest of her guests to enter.
"I don't really use any of this," she explained. "So I move it whenever my roommate is out of town. Y'know, to make room"

"Your place is, well... pretty nice." Gabe said, as he looked around Celeste's house. While his own house had a roomier build, he hardly had time to work on its upkeep, and barely the money to pay its bills... leaving it in a state of disrepair that few would find acceptable. "It sounds like your neighborhood is good too, though... not a lot of people from mine would look out for me."

Sorin walked in.

Myrin follows the the rest of the group and sits down to continue to eat my salad. He is hungry, because he didn't get to eat much before they headed out. His dark, deep midnight blue eyes gleam brilliantly in the light of the glowing plants.

Melissa proceded to climb up the wall and hang upside down from the cieling.

OOC: I'm assuming that's everyone's character.

Celeste stuck her head out of the door and checked for anyone else before re-sealing the ward.
"I'm sure there's food in the fridge. My roommate left her groceries here, so there should be some stuff you guys can eat."
She circled the room, which had a surprising amount of space even with the furniture in place, before laying on the carpet.
"So," she began. "Tell me about the thing you're looking for."

"A Heart of Magic, known as Fury," replied Melissa

"Hazel Vassallo told us about it." Axel said.

"They're said to be very powerful artifacts, possibly connected to the universe itself and what is known as the 'heart theory'.," Darin added wishing Axel hadn't mentioned Hazel.
