"You intercept with my 'cold bath time'." Syndral silently said, dropping her head as she sat down on the ground. "I wasn't doing much either way, perhaps it wasn't as bad..."

Miko purred as silently as possible, not fully trusting Alvira just yet. He did a few steps back. "D-don't t-touch me." Miko said. C'mon Miko, don't lie. that felt pretty good... right?
"B-but if you... w-want to.."

Reece whipped round to look behind him with suspicion, yet there was nothing out of the ordinary there, "Sorry, I thought I heard a voice,"

Then he saw movement, "Target acquired," he said, aiming the laser at the shape, until he realized it was just a rat, a very normal, very annoying little rat, he didn't even bother killling it.

Alvira looked in minor irritation at the swimming pool, as she continued to stroke Miko's back in a soft paste. "Syndral... We need the pool's temperature to be way higher, the guests will ot be able to use it otherwise. What you think of the reasons we have this here?" She said as she smiled.

"Aww, you've just ruined my special me time..." Syndral said, walking to the corner. "Fine, just raise the temperature again...."


Miko sat down, enjoying the treatment.

Kihei walked with the group until he found the pool "Hey guys, there's a poo-" He was saying before seeing Alvira and walking up to her "H-hello"

Gabe started sniffing around, as his face began to take on a few more lupine features. His mouth began to elongate into a canid muzzle, as a dusting of fur began to spread throughout his face. "I'm starting to get a trace of a feline-ish scent... so we're probably on the right track..."

As they arrived, he gave a soft smile towards Miko, before looking around to take in the rest of the scene around him.

Miko perked up. He quickly ran over to the arriving people. "Oh glad you're here! This girl's nice, you should say hi to her."

Syndral just let out a sigh. "Ugh..."

Ganter wondered what was the deal with Gabe, but said nothing to the shapeshifter.

Name: Zenith (Doctor Jacob Morano)
Appearance:

He is mostly seen in this form, though he does turn human on occasion. As human he is a tall, slender man with grey hair. His blue eyes never change, no matter which form he takes.
Element: Electricity
Abilities: Genetically modified to change into a wolf at will, along with the manipulation of electricity and electro-magnetic pulses. Bioluminescence scattered along his hair and fur as wolf.
Fears: Failure, abandonment, and any death caused by him. He is also a very bad swimmer.
Additional Note: A prodigy of his field, Dr. Morano was a biochemical engineer for a small pharmaceutical company. His research became larger and more risky, however, and shut him down. He was forced to continue his work in his own lab, with only himself as a test subject. He was recently informed that his laboratory would be reestablished if he became part of the research team seeking the Valorians. He agreed instantly, his body and mind addled from months of self-experimentation.

Reece saw the pool and smiled as he saw Miko, "Hey, little guy, what you doing all theway out here," yet he didn't come any closer as water could be damaging tohis machinery.

Jacob stirred, gripping against the fabric he was laying on. Rough, long strands between his fingers, disturbing his light and sporadic dreams. The more he came to consciousness, the more weight he felt on him. He groaned and stretched, flicking a sheet lazily off his chest. The, abruptly, he sat up, his eyes wide with fright.
Where in the world was he?
He looked down at his hands, more shock setting in as he examined his fingers.
Why was he human?
He never remembered changing to human, he had no need. His breathing quickened and he stumbled to his feet, gripping his loose clothing that he knew for a fact he didn't own. He looked around his room, trying to figure out where he was.
He woke up on the carpet floor, that was a given. A bed was a few feet from him, covers a mess. A small part of him thought it funny that even when he was passed out, he didn't like beds. He had to concentrate now though, turning to face the door of the room. Jacob stumbled to it, leaning against the frame. There was electricity near by, made by neurons, not cables. People? Could they explain this?
He cracked the door barely, peering down the hallway it led to. "Hello?" He called, hearing the echo call back.

As Gabe looked at Miko, he realized that his partially canid form might be intimidating to the little cat, he worked towards retracting them back into his human frame. He grunted a bit as the features receded, his face and arms stinging from the sudden shapeshifting backlash as they gave way to his human appearance

Swirla was lost in the huge amount of hallways, she had been left alone by Alvira not long before, she had no idea where she went, but she awoke from her sleep realizing that she was alone. She stopped as she heard a voice calling out. "H-hello who is that?" She asked anxiously. She then noticed a door that was cracked open just by a tiny bit.

Jacob jumped at the new voice that called back to him and quickly closed the door. That was quick he thought, running his fingers through his hair. He scoffed after he did so, the reminder of being his human form disturbing him. He hated changing as well, but found it necessary to do so right now. He was much more useful as his wolf-self.
He groaned as he activated the change, bones shifting and flesh reshaping. Sounds of silent pain sounded from his door into the hallway, followed by a long and eerie silence. It was broken by the slow opening of his door, his canine head poking out into the hallway and looking for the origin of the voice. "Who's out there?" he asked, his eyes blind and still readjusting to the bio-change.

Swirla jumped anxiously as she noticed the creature's head. "Eep!" She squealed in shock. "Who are you?" She took a step away from the door that had now opened further, she was afraid, she wanted to go away.

Jacob made a worried face, slowly coming out of the room. "Please, don't be afraid. I am Zenith," His chosen name, Doctor Jacob wasn't fitting of him anymore. His blue fur streaks glowed softly, him purposely pulsating the lights, hoping to sooth the other being.

Miko sat down, wiggling his tail, waiting.

Reece became lost in thought for a little while, wondering why the little guy had dissapeared, but he suddenly snapped out of his reverie when he realized he was staring at Syndral, "Oh, hi, I'm Reece," he said awkwardly.

"I'm just curious..." Gabe started to ask the people who had kept Miko company "...but do you know anything about this place?"

Syndral grunted in response. "What do you want?" She hissed. She seemed uncomfortable.

"I was kind of wondering whether you knew anything about thifs place," he stated lamely, trying to cover up his awkward lapse into staring.

Swirla nervously shrunk back. "I..." She paused, anxious as she felt a cold chill running down all over the back of her head.
"I... I don't want to be hurt again." She Quivered. Swirla then hid her face between her mane and shoulders, shaking anxiously.


Alvira simple stared at Syndral and now also at the rest of the people that had come along as time had passed. "Syndral you do know that we have-..." Alvira paused. Looking around before returning to Syndral. "that we have a job to complete?" She gave a serious expression, as she crossed her arms.

"Yeah, so? Does that mean I can't relax for just 30 minutes?" Syndral crossed her arms, clearly being annoyed by the current situation.

Ganter looked at Alvira and Syndral curiously; what did they mean about a job?

Alvira loudly sighed in irritation. "Uhg, you can be such a numskull you know that?" Alvira exclaimed in clear irritation as she walked up to Syndral only to take her hands and forcing her to walk away. "You are just going to tell me what you did here." Alvira continued to pull Syndral away from the rest of the group. And for the first time, Alvira id not regret her actions.

Syndral forced herself to get loose. "Can you quit your actions and behave towards me like I'm not an underling like the rest!" Syndral hissed, seemingly getting quite agitated by Alvira's current behavior. "I was simply taking a bath! Whas that against the rules oh Big Valor!?"


Miko tilted his head to the left. "What's wrong with those girls..?" He asked quietly.

"I have no idea anymore; I've got more questions than I know." Ganter shook his head at Miko.

Alvira growled in pure anger, gritting her teeth as she spoke. "My little sis, do not act as If you don't know what I am here for." Her anger lifted, and she started to grim. "Do not believe in them for now." Alvira whispered, getting closer to Syndral's ear as she continued. "Please, this is important, they cannot know and you know that."

Syndral did a step back. "Honestly, you know I do not act before I get my wants!" With that, she walked away.

Alvira took hold of Syndral's tail right before Syndral could leave. "Sis, please I ask you kind." Alvira pleaded uneasily. "For me...?" She gave a soft but assuring smile as she spoke.

"No!" Syndral said with a firm pull of her tail, getting lose. "First serve, then come!" With that, she went through a corner and dissapeared from eyesight.

Out of curiousity, Miko quietly ran after Syndral. "Hey, wait up!"
Syndral did not look back.

Miko's sprint pushed Alvira aside without realisation. "Hey care- Aaaaah!" Alvira screamed. Splash! Alvira screamed in horror upon contacting with the extreme icy water. "Aaah?! This is cold!" Alvira jumped and leaped out of the water, shivering as she tried to warm herself up.

Miko took quick pastes as he finally got in front of Syndral. "Hey, what's wrong?" He asked, before being picked up, and stroked. Syndral than quietly proceeded to snuggle with Miko.
"This is strangely... nice." Miko admitted, enjoying the treatment he was getting.
"Alvira's my sister, and a bit... annoying. We never could get along that great." Syndral explained before she went back to snuggling with Miko.

Kihei ran over to Alvira and hugged her to help warm her up "Don't get angry, I will help you warm up" He said

Zenith approached her, slowly sitting by her side. Such a fragile creature, he thought, reflecting. No wonder why she's afraid. I mean look at you. Wolf Beast... The voice was speaking to him again. He knew it was in his head, and he hated it. All it ever talked about were his failures. He forced the voice out of his mind, ignoring it for the moment. "I promise I won't hurt you." He spoke softly, his mind back on the pony girl. He gently placed a paw on her shoulder, "I'll make sure that you won't be hurt by anything little one."

Gabe followed Kihei closely, as he approached the now-wet Alvira. "Er... I could try to help." the now-human Gabe said, as he tried focusing his elemental powers into his hand. Heat without smoke, heat without smoke... he chanted in his mind, as his hands started to glow with the bright orange of glowing embers, the barest traces of smoke appearing as he couldn't completely control the element.

"Okay... now, don't touch them, but the heat from my hands might dry you off faster." he said, trying to be comforting.

Miko started nuzzling with Syndral, continueing to enjoy the treatment. Syndral seemed strangely conforted too. "I just don't like it when one bosses over me. Listen, Miko, right?"

Miko nodded.

"Look... my sister... wants things.. and so do I... but you're way to adorable to... well... do stuff with." Syndral said, a bit unsure how to place her words.
Miko looked up. "What things?" he asked.
Syndral shaked her head. "It slipped my mind right now..."
