Ebony: Mum, dad, Sparx and the guardians. Take Midnight's body and GET OUT OFF HERE!
Ebony?
Ebony: I know what to do. If you don't leave, I could kill you. This power that I'm using, it might kill me.
Your not leaving us Ebony! We lost our son! Were not going to loss our daurter! You will not die! Not while I'm around!
Ebony: ..... dad....
Cynder, Cyril, Terrador, Volteer and Sparx. Take Midnight's body and go! I will stay here and make sure Ebony dosn't get out off control and die.
Spyro, I love you. I'm not going to lose you. I will always be by your side no matter what you say! I'm staying! Sparx and the guardiens, take Midnight's body and go!
Cynder! Go with them! If I die, I will be happy knowing that your still alive! You have to live! Who else is going to protect Sparx and the Guardiens?
Spyro. Your not going to die. And I don't care what you say. I will be with you ALWAYS!
I'm staying too. Spyro, your my buddy! Even though you have ignored me when I say "Lets go back to da fun stuff!" but I don't want to be left alone if you do die. Who else is going to keep me conpeny?

Spyro, I am-
NOT YOU TOO! NOONE ELSE IS STAYING!!!! JUST GRAB MIDNIGHT AND GO!!!!

Spyro, theres something wrong..... You looks awfule. You look like you have been beaten up to death.
I feel gulty. All those things I said about Ebony in the past.... If she dies, then she would remeber her farther at the back off her head. I wan't to say something nice. But its too late to do so...
Its never to late for anything Spyro *licks* When this war is over, just tell her how you feel.

Ebony: Go! I could kill you!
Yes, but we will stop you. Like I said before, you are not going to die or turn evil. If you do, then come and tell me and I will sit on you.
Ebony: Dad.... You-you care for me?
Yes Ebony. I always have. I just never showed it.....
Ebony: Good enough for me!
Go get em Ebony!
....?: Yes. Go kill Flare. That will make my day!
Ebony: Midnight?
Midnight: Remeber what I said? I said that I will help you kill Flare. I'm not going to brake that promise. Oh, and I will always be right by you side Ebony. I will always give you protection and strength even if you don't need it. Your my sister, my fave, your the only dragon I like being with, I will never leave you. If I can, I will even stay with you and play with you. You should always feel me right next to you.
Ebony: Thanks....
Midnight: Now use that 'purple dragon power'!
Ebony: YES!!!

Ebony: *She stalked towards Flare*
Flare: You want to fight?
Ebony: I'm going to advenge my brother's death! *the dark shadow that was spinning around her legs expands until she is covered in black smoke*
Flare: O.O
Dark Ebony and Midnight: This is the end! *runs*
Flare: O.O
Dark Ebony: *she sprang in mid air. Her body turned blue, she grew thinner, alot thinner. Her tail grew until it was 3 times its normle size. She looks like a great, white claw that is waiting to stick its claws into bare flesh*
Flare: W-what happend to you? You look like lightling!

Midnight: Lets chop his head right off Ebony!
Dark Ebony: She streched out her front legs and, quicker then a bullet, she ran strate for Flare.
Flare: *breaths fire on Ebony*
Dark Ebony: *she scrapes though the fire with stunning power*
Flare: *he prepared for the attack. His back legs and tail ready to doge*
Dark Ebony: *instead off attacking face to face, she disapered*
Flare: W-were are you? Show yourself!
Dark Ebony: *she appeared right above him. Quick as a flash, she charge right down at Flare*
Flare: *unforntently, Flare was ready for the attack. He stuck his claws into his hand. He took then out, blood was on his claws. He doged Ebony's attack and then he flicked the blood at her. The blood turned into blades that could cut though anything in its path*
Dark Ebony: *she turned around in time and she relised a purple beam that turned into black, purple and red dragon heads. The element was dark comfireixity. The most powerfulest and rarest element. The 3 dragon heads distroyed the blood blades in a couple off seconds and then it went strate for Flare. Flare scrmubled away but he wasn't fast enough. The comfireixity cut right though Flare's head. Blood gushed out. Flare's body flopped down onto the ground with its head missing*
You did it Ebony! Now you can turn back to normle!
Dark Ebony: I- I can't.... Its to powerful!! Your darkness and Cynder's darkness, its over wealming me! I told you to get out off here didn't I?
Midnight: Ebony?
Dark Ebony: Just go back to you spirit world Midnight!
Midnight: ._.
Ebony, no, Midnight died, you can't die too!
Dark Ebony: I must. Its the only way to brake free from this darkness! There is no other way! Turning into smoke is all there is!
No, thats not the answer and you know it!
Dark Ebony: Then what is!?
Brake free on your own Ebony. You are the purple dragon, find the strength to brake free! You tramsformed into lightling didn't you? Well do that again, but this time inside off you!
Dark Ebony: I-I don't know how I did it! And besides, Midnight was helping me!
No he wasn't!
Dark Ebony: WHAT!?!?!?!?

._. *fires paint at spyro*

I have added more onto that last bit. So I guess you might have to read that part again.

CHAPTER 17.

Ebony: What do you mean he didn't help me!?
It was true that he said that he would help you. But what he didn't say was that he didn't really help you.
Ebony: What do you mean? I felt his enegy flowing though me! It gave me alot off strength!
That was your imagenasion Ebony. Midnight said that because he new that you will THINK that he is giving you powers.
Ebony: So that means.... I really had the strength in me the whole time?
Yes. You just couldn't use it for some reason. It was locked up inside off you the whole time. Midnight's death made you unlock it. But you can only use it when you are in great danger. You are in great danger now. So that means you can do it!
Ebony: But how!
How did you turn into lightling?
Ebony: Well.... I.... I just felt lots off power inside off me.... I don't know how, but I trigered it and suddently, I couldn't control myself. I just attacked Flare brainlesly... It was sorter creepy....
Well do that again!
Ebony: But I don't know how I triggered it!
Wait a minet.... I think I know how.... *whispers to Spyro* She triggered it when Midnight died right? So that means Ebony must off triggered it when she was upset.
*whispers back* But she was upset when Midnight left. She was upset when I taunted her. Why does it have to happen now and not before?
*whispers* Thats different. Midnight died and she was also in grave danger at the same time because off Flare. She must off felt something else.... I-I think she also felt guilty.... But I don't know why.... Anway, I know how to make her trigger it again!
Let me hear it.

Ebony: ????? *her arms turn into smoke*
*whispers softly so only Spyro can hear* Hurry up please! She is starting to fade away!
Cynder, Sparx run! I can't take it!
Ebony: Whats going on?
Spyro! What happend to you!?
Ebony: He looks normle to me....
What do you want?
Ebony: Nothing farther! Snap out off it!
Its working! *looks at Cynder and trys too sound like Malefor* You! You betraid me! You turned your back on me! Now you shell pay the prize!
Malefor! Spyro, don't let him control you!
Silence! You shell die! And to make it more painful, you will get killed by your love.
No! Spyro! Don't do this!
Ebony: Mum, run!
I can't leave you here Ebony! *faces Spyro* Snap out off it!
*pounces on Cynder then pretands bites her leg*
Spyro, I'm not going to fight you!
Ebony: DON'T HURT HER!!!
Thats it, get angry Ebony! Trigger your power! *pretands to scratch Cynder's body*
*wince* Ebony! You are the purple dragon, why are you standing there? Trigger it!
Ebony: I can't! Its too late! Spyro, leave Cynder alone!
EBONY!!!
*pritands to bite her neck*
Ebony: NOOO!!!! CYNDER!!!! SPYRO, STOP IT!!! DON'T KILL HER!!!
*whips Spyro with her tail*
*pritands to stick his claws in her stomic*
*she jolts up as if she felt something on her back. She closes her eyes too look like she had fainted*

Ebony: NO!!! *she leaps into the air. She turns blue*
Yes! It worked!
Ebony:

Uh oh, me has the feeling their plan is gonna back fire o3o

Ebony: SPYRO, YOU HAVE KILLED CYNDER!! NOW YOU SHELL PAY! I WILL ADVANGE HER DEATH!! YOU HEAR ME??!!

Ebony: SILENCE!!! Spyro, I have always hated you, how can I trust you when you say that Cynder is alive? *is looking at Cynder*

Ebony: *shots out blue fire balls*
*doges the fire* You have to learn to control you anger and your power Ebony! Don't become like Flare! He had his head chopped off because he did exsactly what you are doing now!
Ebony: I'm not like Flare!
You are Ebony.... you are..... I can see the hunger for power in your eyes..... your eyes give everything away.....
Ebony: NO! *backs away*
*pounces on Ebony and beats her up* Snap out off it dammit!
Ebony: *she zaps Spyro and nocks him off of her*
*Together they rold around the castle, clawing at skin and wings. Spyro manige to get a grip on Ebony on her tail. Ebony roared and she stuck her claws below Spyro's eye. Spyro flinched and then blinked. He broke free from her grip and frizzed her with ice. Spyro scrambled away. Ebony broke free from the ice and hit Spyro with her tail. Blood dripped undernith Spyro's left eye. Ebony panted. Spyro aimed for a blow at her stomic but Cynder cought his attencion*
What are you doing here Cynder? Get out off here!
*is too shoked to move* Spyro..... Ebony...... o3o
CYN- *Ebony rakes him across the chest and then zaps his shoulder. Blood came out off his mouth and shoulder* Go... NOW! *he rapsed*
*she snaps out off it and backs away*

CHAPTER 18

*2 minets has past since Spyro and Ebony fought. Spyro was thinking that if he could diffeat her to snap her out off it, Ebony would know that it was a trick to get her to trigger her power. But Ebony was alot powerful then he thought. Even though he has fully masted the elements and is a powerful purple dragon who knows how to use his powers, it was still hard because he was just trying to snap Ebony out off it while Ebony is trying to kill him. His not using his full power because he dosn't wan't to kill her but Ebony is using her power. Deep cuts are on his shoulders, legs and body. His horns were dirty and his claws were stainded with blood. Ebony was the same, but she still looked like she had alot off engegy. Spyro was strugling to attack her and he is now having diffecultys lifting up his paw. He new that he could get killed if this battle goes on any longer. He was aware off Midnight 's spirit close by, watching the fight in horror, he was too shocked to help his dad. Ebony's eyes are now blood red, and she looked very angry. But Spyro could feel something deep inside off her heart, trying to brake free. She was out off control, not comfused like Cynder said, she used too much off her power, making her become strong. She was lucky that she could escape it last time, but this time, she is locked away and shes too weak to get out. Spyro new that just making her faint will not do anything. She will have to escape herself*

Ebony, snap out off it!
Ebony: I will kill you Spyro, I won't stop until I do!
Listen to me! Cynder is still alive! What part off that don't you understand? *he new that that won't work, but it could if he tried hard enough. There was still some hope left*
Ebony: I-I don't believe you!
Just listen to yourself. Your out off control. You used too much off your power, therefor, your power has taken control, hoping that it will take over! Of course, its your dark power thats doing this! Do you really wan't it to take over?
Ebony: Noncense!
Why don't you believe me?
Ebony: THATS ENOUGH!!! *sudently, her claws grew until they were 30cm tall*
*backs away* Ebony......

*Ebony jumped into the air and aimed for a blow in Spyro's chest. Spyro breathed fire on Ebony, making her full to the ground. She got up strate away and breathed dark onto Spyro. He kalapsed. Ebony began to tower over him. Spyro tried to get up, but he couldn't. He closed his eyes, beging for Ebony to turn good again. He didn't wan't to die now, he still had at list 70 more years off life left. Ebony roared and then hesitated for a moment. Spyro thought that Ebony was begining to snap out off it, but he was wrong, she was looking for the right spot to kill Spyro. Anger flared like a forest fire in Spyro's stomic and he couldn't resit the urge to attack Ebony. He made one more attemt to get up, he fell, but his knees kepted him up. He lifted his head to see what Ebony was doing, she was backing away, a look off horror wen't across her face. Spyro manige to get up onto his paws. He new that he only had a little bit more enegy left, he had to somehow get Ebony to snap out off it. He suddently thought off something, if Ebony killed him, then there a huge chance that she will escape from her dark side. But Cynder, Ebony and the others will be sad. But its eather he dies, or Ebony dies and he new which one to pick. Besides, if he dosn't do this, then Ebony will use her powers to distroy everything, at list he will be saving the whole world if he does this. Ebony is the new purple dragon, its now up to her to save the world from distrution*

If thats what it takes to save her and this world, then thats what I will do! *he whispered silently to himself* Cynder, if you can hear me, please take care off Ebony, Sparx and the others...

Here goes nothing! *Spyro walked over towards Ebony*
Ebony: *She roared and then she ran towards Spyro. She pounced on him*
*He closed his eyes, ready to meat the ansictors*
Ebony: *She bit down hard on Spyro's throat and scraped his belly*
This is it.... my life is over.... EBONY!!! SNAP OUT OFF IT!!! *As soon as he said that, lots off blood splated out off his throat and went onto Ebony's face* please.... Oh, and goodbye.... But don't worry, I will be happy... My time as the purple is up anyway. Its time for you to save the world from evil.....
Ebony: *She stopped. She suddently remembered everything that happened. She grabed her power and shoved it down her stomic. She winced when she realised that she killed her own farther. She quickly relised her grip on his throat and she jumped off him. Spyro's eyes were blank and he was staring at something that she couldn't see. Ebony was about to call out over to Cynder and Sparx, but Spyro's hush breathing grew louder and she sudently thought that he would be okay. But she was wrong, Spyro's breathing became shellow. He twiched and then he lied there, very still. His eyes were staring into nothingless* F-father...... NOOOOO!!!! HIS DEAD!!! I KILLED MY OWN DAD!!! HE WAS RIGHT! I WAS EVIL ALL ALONG!!!! Father, why? Why? WHY DID YOU RISK YOUR OWN LIFE JUST TO SAVE MY? YOUR ALOT MORE IMPORTENT THEN ME!!! I AM THE ONE THAT SHOULD BE DEAD! NOT YOU! PLEASE COME BACK AND LET ME DIE INSTEAD!!!! STUPID POWERS!!! STUPID ME!! IF ONLY I COULD CONTROL MYSELF!!! *Suddently, a beam off darkness flew out off her. It went away in about 5 seconds. She almost colapsed. She also felt funny. She then thought off something, if that was darkness that went out off her, maby all off her darkness vanished. She sighed and then look at her dead farther. Thats it, her brother is dead, and now her farther is dead. She may have her mum and Sparx, but she was still upset. She didn't care that she lost her dark powers, all she wanted was that her brother and her farther would come back to life. She padded outside, Cynder and Sparx were waiting for her. Ebony looked up, she could see a white cloud in the shape off a dragon, she new at once that that was her farther up there. She smiled a tinny bit at Cynder and then looked away. Cynder new at once what happend to Spyro. She suddently burst into tears, then she flew towards the cloud in the shape off Spyro. Sparx stod were he was, shocked at the news. Cynder soon flew back down and then ran over to Spyro in the castle. Sparx snapped out off it and followed. Ebony stod were she was, she was praying that her father and brother will come back to her. She new that this wasn't the end. Cynder and Sparx soon walked out off the castle, Cynder was carying Spyro on her back. Ebony look at the Spyro shaped cloud again. Spyro will be joining the ansictors amongs the stars tonight and she new that he will never be forgoten*

There are some extras but I will tell you what there are tomarrow. But I will tell you one thing, you will be suprised. Oh, and I would like to thank Crystal Dragon for helping me with one off the chapters (The bit when Midnight dies and Ebony does a powerful fury). Oh and I would like to thank everyone who read my story and posted. If you have been reading my story but not posted yet, then nows the time. I would love to see how much people have read this story.

I wasn't planning to make a sequel... There is a story that comes before this one that is called "The legend off Spyro: Cynder meets Ember the pink dragon". And the story that comes before that one is DOTD. So these two storys come after DOTD.

Oh, and now for the extras. It will tell you some things on what comes happends after this story.

1. Several days has past. Ebony dosn't have dark breath anymore, instead, she has light breath. She is still crying over her father's death and she always looks up at the stars before she sleeps.
   
2. Cynder was planning to drowen herself so she could live with Spyro but she stopped herself because she new that Spyro would be angry if she did that.
   
3. A day has past. Amber and Flame come. They were sad about the news off Spyro's death. Amber was very sad. Also, she said that she change her name back to Ember because she grew up with that name. But Cynder prefers Amber.
   
4. Flame rashes back inside off the temple, he says he saw Spyro sitting infront off the pound.
   
5. Everyone walks out, they too, see Spyro outside. Apparently, purple dragons get and extra life because they have the power to come back to life. But they can only use it once.
   
6. Ebony always has dreams off her playing with Midnight. So Midnight did keep his promise. He will always visit her in his dreams.
   
7. Firefrost, Flame and Ember's son, is now Ebony's friend.
   
8. Ebony learns how to breath fire from Spyro.
   
9. They all visit the elders, apparently, Volteer died off old age. It won't be long until Cyril and Terrador also die because off old age. They also visit Ignitus, the chronicler. Before they leave, Ignitus said that when Spyro dies again, he will become the next chronicler. Spyro was suprised but also happy, he said "Okay, thanks" and then flew out happily.
   

Now I will get back on wrighting my "The legendary Ruuko: The darkest hour story". But I will have to bump the topic... I hope dark52 will not mind me doing that....

Oh, I almost forgot, Cynder and Spyro have another egg (Second litter I guess...). It is a male, black dragon with dark yellow and white features. It has purple eyes like Spyro. It's white horns looks like Cynder's. He has two smaller horns below the other two like how Cynder has her horns. He has a yellow underbelly like Spyro but his under belly is darker. He has two yellow strips going down his back shape like a Zebra's. His tail is two white blades with two smaller things on the end. The tail is like a smaller verson off Ruuko's (Cynder's brother. There is a story about him BTW). He has yellow and white wings that have a small blade white blade on the end, they are shape like Spyro's wings. There suprisenly large. His body is shape like Spyro's figure but it has a tinny bit off Ruuko's shape to it. His elements are fire, shadow, electric and a new one that not even Spyro or Cynder have, light breath. One off Ebony's elements. They call him Nightfern. Night because he is black and fern because his heart is as soft as a fern (Ebony came up with that).

It is about Cynder's brother, Ruuko, who gets corupted along with Cynder.
