Pilila shrugged her wings, "No, although sure she mustn't have gotten to far from us."

Bimcal flicked out his tongue, "If Silvara is a cat, then I think I can sssense her." He had a strange sense when he flicked out his tongue, as if he could taste or smell a cat nearby.

Silvara stumbled for a moment, balancing herself. This was it, whatever it was. She had found the object that she had been looking for.

Ura looked towards the setting sun. "I suppose a silver dragon would attract a lot of attention by night," she observed. "Hang on." Focusing her power into changing back, Ura expected to feel a rush of magic and be herself again. But this was not the case. She shook her head an tried again. No success. "Well then," she muttered. "Maybe we should just find the nearest place to hide, or a shelter. A cave would be nice."

"I'm pretty sure a green griffin will attract just as much attention, but I refuse to turn back into a human." Pilila spoke up.

Ki picked Ura up "I know just the place" He said as he carried Ura to a cave to the west of the building, the whole way there, he thought about how much he liked Ura

Kihei was walking in the cave he was in, trying to find Kumara "Kumara! You in here?"

Bimcal and Pilila followed Ura and the others to the cave, with Bimcal saying, "I guessss it would help to have a sssafe place to ressst."


(In case someone is curious, Bimcal's 'sss'es are intentional, with him being a snake and all.)

"We need to find somewhere to rest," Ura announced. "Then we can talk about what to do. The woods seem like our best bet for now." With that, Ura started for the forest.

Silvara examined the item she had found. It was a small, blue stone that seemed to have a flame frozen inside it.

I'll fix Ura's thing later.

When they reached the cave, Ki kissed Ura on the cheek "Nothing will happen to you as long as I'm here" He said as he put her down "There's an old bunker in back of this cave, I think its from the 40's

A pair of glowing green eyes peeked out of the cave. Instantly, thick vines began growing from the ground, breaking through the stone. The eyes disappeared, partially because of the vines and partially because they closed.

Connor and Fryden walked to the cave. "I'm a crocodile, so I can fit in, but not Fryden," said Connor as he laid down in the cave.

((Kumara is going to arrive the next morning. There's a reason for that though.))

No response was heard to Kihei's call.

"I'll remain guard out here," Shadow said, "I hate cramped spaces." He then sat at the entrance, staring out into the forest.
"Where's that annoying blue dragon?" He said glancing around for Kihei.

"Ok... Not here!" Kihei said as he flew out of the cave and flew until he saw Shadow "Hey... I couldn't find her, but I saw some feathers that looked like hers" He said

Varedis was fflying around, lost, when he began to turn human again, he dropped out of the sky and landed on top of Kihei.

"She will find us soon," Shadow replied. All of a sudden, Shadow hissed and growled when something dropped from the sky less than a metre away from him. He regained his composure immediately before giving a threatening hiss.
"What the hell are you doing!"

"Ow! What was that for?!" Kihei yelled

Ura stared at the spot where the eyes were. "Stop," she murmured. "We seek sheelter here, no more. Leave us be." A faint hum emanated from her amulet for a moment. Ura became human again.

Shadow turned to the cave entrance wandering what Ura was doing.
"What's going on?" He asked.

Ki was ready to protect Ura with his life "I have no idea Shadow"

"Ura?" the mysterious voice asked. "Are you there, my old friend? Haven't seen you in a long time. Who are the others?"

"Who'ssss there?" Bimcal said warily.

"Wait, you know my Ura?" Ki said, not knowing he said 'my Ura'

Varedis woke up, "Sorry for almost dying! I didn't try to turn human and fall out of the sky and almost die. Why would I do that on purpose. Seriously!" he tried to stand up, cried out, and fell back down again, "Great, my leg is broken as well...."

Shadow turned to Varedis, "tell us who you are and I may help," he replied coldly.

"Its ok" Kihei said as he helped Varedis up "We'll try to fix your leg sir"

"Thanks. By the way, we were in the prison together not so long ago, and we escaped but I got lost, and then I fell out of the Sky."

"Your Ura?" the voice whispered. "I knew her for a long time before all of this happened. Does the name 'Fauna' ring a bell, metaphorically of course?"

"Fauna? I kinda recall the name, why?" Ki asked

Animal: Chimera (Humanoid bearlike body, wolf head, lion mane, bat ears and wings, bull horns, canid clawed/furred hands, hooved legs, reptilian tail that ends in a shark fin), although he can focus his changes to a specific animal or two.
Extra: His family has a lineage of this 'disease', keeping it secret for generations. Was captured so they could study the effects of it over multiple generations. Can mimic the abilities of others, and with practice, retain those abilities.

(Good thing Chimera isn't here, she might have a fit seeing the creature her own name comes from.)

How did you end up "falling out of the sky"?" Shadow asked Varedis in annoyance.

I was in Dragon Form, then I felt feint and accidentally turned human form again, hence the falling part and I was in the sky hence the sky part.

"I see.." He said. That had never happened to him before.

"I'm not used to being in Dragon Form, I only found out about it recently.

"That would explain it," he replied, "perhaps if you practice it will become easier."

Pilila looked at Bimcal, neither wanted to become a human, not if it meant losing their wings.

Varedis nodded, "Yeah, I need to practise, that's a good idea"

"We can try to help when you are all healed up" Kihei said

Ura smiled. "It has been a long time. I'm sorry I couldn't speak to you sooner. The others are... friends of mine, so to speak. we escaped a lab. Will you help us?"

Silvara reached out to touch the stone with one paw. She then shrieked as a pain burned through her like the flame within the stone. A red light emanated from the stone, illuminating a large area.

Varedis turned, "Did you guys here that scream?" he asked Kumara and Kihei.

"Let's go see what happened," Kumara replied.

((Gabe could hear Silvera's scream and try to find out who it came from? I dunno))

What looked like a human face peeked from a bit of cover near Varedis, Kumara, and Kihei, before quickly retreating.

There are others here? Gabe thought, as he held himself behind cover, not quite sure if he can safely approach the others. Hmm, what exactly are they? Like me? he thought, before subtly shifting his nose to be more canid, sniffing the air. Definitely smells like a few lizards, but the other one I really can't make out... another chimera, maybe?

Varedis thought he notice something, a flash of skin perhaps, coming from the side, he would have to look around there on his way back, but right now he was running towards Silvera's scream.

Kihei followed Kumara "When did you get here K'ara?" He asked

Ki ran towards the scream

Varedis ran past Kihei, "Hurry, something bad is happening."

Gabe's ears twitched as he heard the scream, wincing as its piercing tone met his ears. He started to turn towards the others he'd just witnessed, but stopped. If they're hurting someone, I can't just let it be, but I don't want them to go after me, thinking I'm a normal person... I've got it, I'll shift, to try to scare 'em off, and save whoever's there!

He felt his face elongating, as it became almost canine in appearance, and his feet let out soft cracks as they shifted to become more digitigrade. Fur sprouted from all over his increasingly muscular body, as batlike wings tore through the back of his shirt. Bulllike horns ripped through his skull, jutting forward past his two batlike ears and leonine mane, as a reptilian, finned tail grew from his lower back, thankfully not tearing through his pants. He stomped into sight, striking the most intimidating wrestler pose he could muster, before running forward.

"Don't you dare hurt-!", he shouted, as he took in the scene, stopping in confusion, as it didn't quite match up with what he'd imagined. "...her? Huh? I... I'm sorry, but thought I heard a scream."
