Not prepared for the more powerful blast, Jolt collapsed s it smashed through the electric barrier around his mind.

Blarna and Twy had already flown outside, fearing for their sanity. Chimera knew why she and Glare had such strong mental shields, but she didn't know why Jillian looked so calm.

Shadow growled as he kept his concentration up. He found that if he kept calm, it was easier to counter the manipulation.
Kumara had more trouble, but she managed to keep up the mental shield.

Luminas' own mind was besieged by the dagger, he'd made a big mistake, he should never have trusted one of those daggers, fighting the powerful mind wave that was pushing him back almost physically, he slowly pushed to wards the dagger. He stumbled but continued to drag himself over the floor, he managed, with the tip of a claw, to drag the dagger towards him, then grab it. He poured light energy into it, infusing the mental destruction wave with a healing light, and slowly the dagger stopped, he then flung the dagger away and collapsed.

Varedis dived to the ground to prevent the dagger passing clean through his skull, it landed next to Jess. Nefarian was whimpering on the ground like a whelpling and Chromatus was clean unconscious, it seemed only he had been able to stop it from coming through out of the three. He went past Nefarian as he was clearly alive and moved over to Chromatus, light breathing. Varedis let out a sigh of relief, and as the last mental wave was infused with healing light, it repaired the damage inside Chromatus head and his eyes flickered open. Nefarian appeared to wake up from a dream.

With the disaster averted, Chimera and Glare sighed with relief and collapsed onto the ground with exhaustion.

Jillian blinked and looked around with confusion, "Are you guys alright?"

Keron (I think that's who I have.) flew out to retrieve the others.

Chimera looked at Jillian, confused, "We're you not aware of the mental wave that just tried to turn our brains to mush?"

Jillian only shrugged her shoulders.

Varedis saw smoke, "I think outside there's a burning bush"

Jillian looked at the exhausted bodies of Glare and Chimera; they were having trouble getting up.

"I'll help, I have the water element." Jillian announced.

Varedis went outside to look at the bush, it was indeed burning, yet the fire was black and purple, instead of red like a normal flame. "Look at this! There's something up with the fire!" he yelled. The purple flame flickered and slowly a face began to form in it. It was the face of Thanatos, the half-dragon, half-phoenix that was Jeff's sole ally. It looked him in the eye and said, "We will always prevail. You can not hope to kill us, we should have dealt with the Ancient Dragons and their students long ago, and now, prepare to face Death, at the hands of your own king..." then the face of Thanatos disappeared, and the fire became red.

Jolt barely clung to consciousness. "Help... me..."

Jillian looked at Varedis in confusion, but blaster the fire with her water breath.

Nefarian rushed over to Jolt, "This seems to have effected you worse than the others, here, chew on this, it helps calm the brain down," he said passing over a leaf, "Varedis, this guy needs help!"

Jolt was barely able to chew on the leaf. His eyes started to shut.

Varedis ran over and bathed Jolt in healing light, the light flowed around him, healing.

Jolt looked around, still in pain. "Wha-What happened?"

"That mental wave hurt a lot of you guys." Jillian said to Jolt.

Varedis went up to Jillian, "You seem totally unfazed by it, how is your mental strength so strong"

Jillian shrugged again, "I don't really know, but then again ..." The green wyvern trailed off as she recalled all the years captured in that castle, alone. Or maybe it was that time when she learned about her connection to the wyvern gods, Collaras and Wyvera.

"I guess I'm just special." She finally finished.

"Special needs" said Chromatus in the background, Varedis glared at him and Chromatus began crying, his mind still overturned by the dagger, "Ignore him, the wave effected him in such a way that he might as well be high. He's definetely having a trip..."

Chromatus was currently in the middle of an important debate securing griffin civil rights, with four other representatives from each ruling aerial race, dragons, wyvern, griffin, phoenix. Little did he realise that the other four were his other four heads and he was just talking to himself.

Chimera and Glare had finally found their strength, and Chimera said, "How long is he going to be like that?" She pointed at Chromatus.

Nefarian and Varedis didn't know.

The wyvern representative told the dragon representative that griffins were all illegal immigrants, the griffin representative said that wyverns were all dirty fiends, then the phoenix representative breathed fir on both of them and the dragon representive froze the fire.

At that moment Chromatus walked into a wall and fell over, unconscious again.

Chimera blinked at Chromatus, "I guess it bites when all of his heads are in the same problem."

"He's strong, he'll be alright." Glare slowly made his way to the others.

Chromatus stood up again and blinked a few times, yet only three heads were "awake" the other two were still sleeping, "Wow, I have a horrible headache and had the wierdest dream, I was discussing griffin rights with a wyvern who said they were all illegal immigrants." The other two heads were still sleping.

"Well, I hope you are alright." Chimera said.

Chromatus groaned, "I will be when green nd yellow wake up, what's up with those heads?" he gave them an experimental shake, no reply. "Varedis, can you heal my heads?"

Varedis started laughing, "That's probably the wierdest thing anyone has ever said to me..." and he bathed Chromatus in healing light.

Jillian laughed as well, "Yeah, you don't hear that everyday, especially since not many beings have multiple heads."

Chromatus' other two heads groggily woke up, and Chromatus sighed, "One of them is still hallucinating, it thinks Varedis is a walking turd..."

Recovering from the mental exercise, Shadow and Kumara began to watch the whole ordeal with Chromatus.
"Well, I'll be damned if griffin's were classed as immigrants!" Kumara defended her kind when he mentioned his 'dream', "we are equal, if not more intelligent than those scale-bags,"

Chimera laughed at what Chromatus said, "Well folks, there you have it, the top oddity of the year."

"What about that time where Ebony sleepwalked and started flying to that Phoenix hybrid guy's lair?" Electra suggested.

"I DID NOT DO THAT!!!" Ebony growled.

Keron had returned with Blarna and Twy.

Blarna was whimpering, "No, not the eggs, anything but my eggs."

Twy's eyes were dilated, and he looked at Jillian, and screamed, "Watch out, they're right behind you!"

Jillian spun around to see nothing.

Chimera and Glare looked at the two of them; it was obvious that Blarna and Twy had been hurt by the wave. Chimera found herself curious by what Blarna was talking about.

Chromatus looked over to them, they were obviously still hallucinating, but their hallucinations seemed to be based more on bad experiences than random debates, like Chromatus' had been.

Varedis was weak but Luminas came over and bathed them in Light, a light violin began playing from somewhere and the light covered Blarna and Twy, trying to heal them.

Nefarian slowly walked backwards and slapped the violin out of Varedis' hand, "This is not the time, and you don't know how to play!"

In Twy's mind, he was imagining the six dragons that had terrorized him and his friends were standing nearby, but he started to get over to hallucination, only slightly though.

Blarna blinked, having recovered more so than Twy, "My head feels like someone dropped a boulder on it."

Other: Vex is the loyal and right hand of Thanatos, he is entirely committed to Thanatos ideal's and plans. Once a former lieutenant who rose through the ranks until he betrayed the Dragon King. Trained in physical combat and tactical mastery, is the very definition of a armored HQ for any army.

"Twy?" Electra started shaking the wyvern. "Are you okay?"

Ebony started trying to pull Electra off. "You're going to make it worse."

Silver fell to the ground, having been hit by the mental wave. It was like she was trapped inside her own memory of losing her tail. "I'm never going back," she whimpered.

Twy was still stuck in his mind "The six dragons, the evil god-dragons, they're right there," He pointed at the air, "they'll kill all of us wyverns."

Jillian walked to Electra, Ebony, and Twy, "He must be imagining that the six dragons of our past are here. They caused so many problems to our home, and me in general."

Varedis dropped the violin and walked over to Twy, "Twy, look at me, you see me, I'm going to start walking backwards now, and I bet you, Im going to walk right through them, and if that happens, you can be sure you're imagining it."

He began to slowly walk backwards in the direction Twy had been pointing, Chromatus walked behind him to make sure he didn't trip on anything, and alll the time, Varedis tried to hold eye-contact with Twy.

Twy heard Varedis and nodded; in his eyes, the twisted smile of the earth dragoness Gaia was right behind him, and Twy wondered what Varedis was up to.

(For everyone else, Eternal Sunfury I'd getting an in depth look at what Twy is referring to. Something I ought to make a fanfiction about.)

Varedis then proceeded to walk over the spot where Twy had said the dragons were, hoping that his plan would work and Twy would see him pass clean through them like they weren't there, and realize that they weren't there.

Jillian looked at Varedis, hoping he'd get to Twy; she never knew how deeply Twy had been affected by their past.

Chimera looked at Blarna, "Are you alright?"

"Yeah, I will be just good in due time." Blarna replied.

"What were you talking about with 'eggs'?" Chimera asked.

Blarna ruffled her feathers inembarrassment, "Oh, I uh, well, you see ..."

Chimera cracked a smile, "Nevermind, I think I get the idea, though I never knew you were a mother."

"Yeah, all grown up by now." Blarna said wistfully.

He stood on the spot where Gaia was standing in Twy's mind and jumped up and down, did a little jig, juggled some golf and haggis, then began playing the violin. Then he took five steps backwards.

Twy blinked; Varedis and Jillian must have been right; Varedis passed through 'Gaia', and Twy closed his eyes, trying to regain his composure.

Varedis saw what Twy was doing, "Good, so you saw me go through him, it must mean that one of us is not real. And if something is real, then you can feel it, so now, try to touch my wing, and if you can, then it means I'm the real one."

Despite the situation, Nefarian was llaughing at Varedis' antics, he felt the juggling and the jig had een a bit too much, and he was also surprised that Varedis' madness proved to be a great idea.

Twy, with his eyes open again, walked forward and stuck out a claw, which poked through 'Gaia' and tapped Varedis. Twy closed his eyes again, "Okay, let me think, I feel so confused."

"Since you're just imagining that they're there, imagine them gone, or getting killed or something, just mentally will them away and they will go.

Twy calmedhimself and focused on the thought that the evil six wasn't there, and soon enough, he opened his eyes to find them gone, and breathed a sigh of relief.

((Ok, I have no idea what's happening. What happened after the mental wave?))

"Glad we're done with that!" said Chromatus, who had apeared behind Varedis. Varedis turned round in such fright that he slipped on the golf ball he'd been juggling and landed face first on the haggis. Nefarian started crying with laughter, and Varedis moaned, "Why did I try to juggle haggis in the the first place."

(Twy had some trouble getting over the wave. Nothing else much.)

Chimera grinned, "Well, now that this is all said and done, now what?"
