The gold lines going all over it turned a deep red, and its eye faded into black then lit up again as red, with a fire animation in the centre. With new strength it ripped free from its bonds. Then it turned to Chromatus and said, "Free the others, I don't want to leave my brethren here." and when Chromatus went to ask why, it said, "Those defective droids, all they know, is how it feels, to be alone, beyond repair, they sit and rust, broken down collecting dust, they never got the chance to prove, what it is, they were built to do, doomed to fail, from the final nail, in the coffin of eternal jail. "

Chromatus was shocked to hear something so profound from a robot built specifically to destroy, and as such, was moved to follow its instructions. Opening the cage, the failed prototypes of DALaDOS crawled/walked out and flew off into the night. Then Varedis turned to DALaDOS, "We need you to sort out a certain person, his name is Leo, and he's a threat, and as such, we need you to sort him out."

A line of blue flashed over DALaDOS' eye as it considered it, it's morality core speaking to it, but with Darakon's little enhancement, it silenced that voice and turned to Varedis, "As you wish," and then it teleported.

Varedis glared at the cameras and said, “Stop watching us, fiend.” Not knowing that Isis was also watching.

DALaDOS laughed, “Oh, you don't know who you just said that to, now she's gonna get angry, but, seriously, where you going? That's the wrong way!”

Yet Nefarian and Varedis ignored him. It was the right way, it would eventually lead them right to DALaDOS' lair, but Varedis planned to take a wrong turn.

Deathwing landed outside the Borealis and ran in, he went past Speedy and said, “better hurry, before DALaDOS kills Nefarian. And he burst in, he charged through the walls and came to a junction ahead of Varedis, Nefarian and Leo. Sethria came running behind them as she'd seen Deathwing rush past her. There were two ways, left and right, and Deathwing, seeing Varedis turn right, followed. And Deathwing, Varedis and Nefarian went down the right pathway. DALaDOS slammed down spike-plates all throughout the left path then growled, and said, “You went the wrong way. Again. You should've gone left.”

Then the wall from the left pathway came forward, in an attempt to crush those in the right, but Deathwing managed to stop it, “This guy's holding all the cards, we have to go quickly.” And ran after Nefarian and Varedis.

Eventually, they came out in one of the test chambers, and all the walls were gleaming white, not a single crack, and all glimmering with fire-protection. There was a row of Aerial faith-plates that stood on a raised platform near the start of the test, a screen turned on at the other end displaying DALaDOS and it spoke, “Ha, so you managed to skip chambers 6 – 9, well, it won't help you much, there are 21 more, and the only ways out of this one are the way you came, and the official exit, so why don't you play along?”
