The five of them all sat down and got ready to start asking Rougestone some questions
*Yes, even Bluefire was there*
“So, where are you from, Rougestone?” asked Crystal
“Oh! Oh! I know! I know!” shouted Bluefire
“Now Bluefire, we agreed to let you stay as long as you let Rougestone answer his own questions” scolded Blackfire
*Sapphire just sat there wanting to hear Rougestone’s answers to her parent’s answers*
Rougestone answered the question like he did for Sapphire and Bluefire the day before
“Alright then…” started Blackfire
“It’s the same story that he told us yesterday” Sapphire stated
“It is an interesting one.” said Blackfire
“Glad you think so.” said Rougestone in a sarcastic tone
“I didn’t mean that in a bad way” he said in his defense
“Ok, what is your next question?”
“What can you do?” asked Blackfire
“Excuse me?” asked Rougestone
“What can you do?” he asked again
“I don’t follow”
“I want to see what you can do” said Blackfire
“Are you challenging me?” asked Rougestone

Rougestone dosen't know his elements?

no, he does know what his element(s) are. he just didnt get Blackfire's question at first.

“In a way, yes” answered Blackfire
Just then, Blackfire shot a black fireball at Rougestone. *The girls and Bluefire had moved out of the way and to a safe spot to watch* Rougestone had forced a wall of earth upward, stopping the fireball. Blackfire then started shooting fireball after fireball at Rougestone. He tried blocking every fireball, but after every fireball, he had to raise another barrier. Seeing that Blackfire wasn’t going to back down on his offence, Rougestone decided that he was going to have to fight back. After creating one wall of earth, he created another one right behind it. As soon as the next fireball broke the first wall, Rougestone hurled the second wall at Blackfire. Blackfire was knocked back but immediately got back on his feet.
“Come on, I know that you can do better than that” commented Blackfire
“You don’t want to see my best. Only if you are serious!” replied Rougestone
“Bring it!”
“Are you serious, Blackfire?! I don’t want to hurt you”
“Come on, I can take whatever you can dish out”
“Ok, but don’t say that I didn’t warn you” answered Rougestone.
That was all that Rougestone needed to hear.
The two were on opposite sides of the room, but Rougestone intended to close the gap. Using the earth as a small “wave”, he gained momentum and charged at Blackfire. Blackfire took a defensive stance, ready for whatever Rougestone was going to do. As Rougestone got closer, he leapt up, but kept the wave going on its intended path towards Blackfire. The wave slammed into Blackfire, and set him off balance. While he was off balance, Rougestone pulled two boulders out of the ground and sent them at Blackfire. Fortunately for Blackfire, he regained his balance just in time to get out of the way of the boulders.

“Nice job, you almost got me there” said Blackfire
“Seriously, What are you doing?!?! Why are you trying to fight me?”
“I told you, I want to see what you can do”
“Why?!”
“Come on and fight me”
“Fine!” yelled Rougestone
As soon as he said that, he jumped up into the air and slammed into the ground. As soon as he did, the ground started to rumble.
“An earthquake? Come on, that’s it?” provoked Blackfire
“You wish!”
The ground kept shaking and then started to crumble. Blackfire jumped up and started to fly in place.
“Like I said, an earthquake. That was weak!”

Did he forget that they can fly?

Blackfire noticed that Rougestone wasn’t paying attention to what he was doing; he was more focused on the small bit of ground that was left around him. Then, out of nowhere, large pillars of earth shot up out of the ground at a high velocity. The tops of the pillars just touched the roof so that there was no way to stand on the tops of them. As they shot up, Blackfire dodged them pretty easily and didn’t get hit once.

Action!!! Yay Action!!!

“Come on!! What are you doing? This is child’s play-”
He was quickly cut off as a huge spike shot out of the pillar that was closest to him; barely missing him. Spike after spike then shot out of the pillars at blinding speeds. Blackfire was now making a much larger effort to dodging the spikes. They came dangerously close to him numerous times but luckily missed him. Blackfire was quickly running out of room to dodge the spikes; he couldn’t fly above them or under them, and they were getting to close to each other to fly in between them. He eventually got pinned up against the wall and was about to be impaled with a spike when it stopped short…
“Had enough?” asked Rougestone
“…………………yeah…………I’m done”
Rougestone then relaxed and returned the spikes to the pillars, and the pillars to the ground. He then summoned a large slate of rock to repair the floor that he had just recently destroyed. Blackfire then slumped to the ground and collapsed.

You should make a movie about this !

It would be great!! I would try to make you one on Flash 8, but i cant draw even silro on there!! Maybe i could plan something for you, i wont change anything, but i mean camera angles and stuff like that, maybe music to.

ok fans, here is some more of the story!

Sapphire and Crystal both ran over to Blackfire. Bluefire ran over to Rougestone…
“That was amazing, Mr. Rougestone!” he said excitedly
“Can you show me how to do that?” he added
Both Sapphire and Crystal reached Blackfire and just looked at him. Looking over Bluefire…
“He should be fine. None of the spikes hit him.” Rougestone said
“Can you show me how to do that?” Bluefire asked again
“Maybe later, kid.” he answered *knowing that he couldn’t learn it because he was a fire dragon*
“Still, even if you didn’t hit him with one of the spikes, he is still pretty banged up.” Crystal explained
“Well, what was I supposed to do? He attacked me first and wouldn’t let up.”
“It’s fine, honey. He’s right. I provoked him into doing what he did. I am just impressed at how well he had control over the attack. I got to hand it to you, you’ve got talent.”
Blackfire struggled to his feet, stabilized himself, and walked over to Rougestone.
“You’ve got talent.” he repeated.
He then left the room.
“Can someone please tell me why he just attacked me?” asked Rougestone
“He wanted to see what you could do!” said Bluefire
“I know that, but what was the purpose? I thought we were just going to talk.”
Sapphire finally spoke up after being quiet since the fight started.
“He wanted to make sure that you could defend yourself or one of us. That was your ‘test’ on whether or not he was going to let you stay. Everything is not always so quiet around here.” she explained.
“Of course, you are free to leave if you please. No one is forcing you to stay.” she added
“No, I think that I will stay, at least for a little while.”
“Yay!! He is still staying in the room next to mine!” announced Bluefire
Crystal just nodded and Sapphire just gave him the look *the one that she gave him the other day. Only this time, no one but Rougestone noticed it*

Bluefire: Saphire likes mr. Rougestone!!
Saphire: Your dead!

you never know. although, she isn't really that mean to her brother. he has kept the secret from her father and her mom just figured it out on her own.

Nothing happened for the rest of the day. Everyone just recovered from that morning and enjoyed a relaxing day. As it started to get late, Crystal called for the trio to come in from outside. As they were flying towards the temple, it started to rain. Bluefire quickly flew ahead of Rougestone and Sapphire to cover from the rain. The two of them landed on the platform and as they did, Rougestone used one of his wings to try and shield Sapphire from the rain…
“That was nice of you.” she said as they both walked inside
“O, that? It was nothing.”
“Maybe not to you, but it was something to me.”
“And what would that be?”
“Nothing………I just still think that you are cute.”
*She blushed and ran ahead to find the rest of her family in the kitchen. Rougestone followed in after her*
