Myth snorted. "How lovely." Her gaze returned to the stars as she mused aloud. "Who said she was TAKEN, anyway? Maybe she just...flew off." She spread her wings wide to demonstrate.

Rune listened to everything with a straight face as he tried to put together an answer. Working with the other creatures did not appeal to him, but if it was required, then unity had to be the key.

Kumara...

Kumara nodded at Icestorm, "I guess you're right... But how do we know who's trustable?"

Solas...

"You five are the most trustable creatures i could find, "she said, "and to answer your earlier question, Blitz is right. In the centre of Niffiria there's a crystal shard just like this one in The Cave of Pure Heart. Using your combined strengths, you are able to create a portal from these crystals. This way, I can fully be summoned into your world, and stop my brother from destroying the light."

She looked over to them all, "You must all go now, meet up in between the griffin territory and the dragon territory, then begin you task. I must warn you though, nothing is the same anymore... shodowy creatures lurk around, fire balls will fall from the sky and most of the land will become dead due to no sun."
She turned away to look at the giant blue crystal in the centre of the room, "I put my faith in you," was the last thing she said before a blinding light engulfed them and they disappeared.
Solas sat with her head low... "Be safe"

Solas has seen a glimpse of the future where someone nearly dies

"She hasn't returned. I've checked everywhere." Skyward sighed. "She loves to play jokes, but Icestorm disappeared at the same time. You know, given that argument they probably wouldn't work together."

Virtu slowly wakes up "I hope I can walk again" She thought as she went to get out of her bed. She felt a sharp pain in her knee "I guess not" She said as she got back in bed

Ki looked at Flain "Hey, thanks again for what you did buddy" He said

Kumara awoke slowly and looked around, "I'm back... I've got to tell Mindra!" She said before flying out of her cave in search of her only friend.

Blitz saw the world spinning around her. She saw nothing but black and woke up, safe and sound on the Land of Plains. Where's Skyward? she thought.

Flain dipped his head. "Anything to help." he said.

"Your friend must be worried about you buddy, I don't think he cares much for me and Virtu" Ki said as he petted Flain gently

"Yeah, it's all right." Flain said. "I never really liked him anyway. I really wanted to lead the Phoenixes and he took the chance away from me. I don't really care what he says. I could be a better leader."

Blitz then remembered what Solas has said before she came back to the real world. She decided to write a note for Skyward and leave it where she last saw her. She left the note and flew towards the border.

Skyward flew back to the Land of Storms. She knew that the griffons could probable help her. But when she got there, she saw Icestorm, a griffon, a Phoenix, a Winter Wolf, and Blitz! She flew over to her. "Blitz!" she yelled. "Where were you?"

Rune's eyes snapped open as fire blazed around him. He quickly put out the fire as he got up. Was that a dream? Yes...but no! Not just any dream! There will never be light again. Truly it felt like dawn was on the horizon, but the sky was as black and impassive as ever. Frowning determinedly, he opened his wings and flew towards the border where Queen Solas had instructed him to go.

Myth watched as Skyward flew off. Snorting, she focused on the sky once more and her eyes widened. "So it is!" she gasped. "A night that never finishes! Endless visions await. So I shall be off!" She clambered up into the sky and began flying in a random direction, hoping for 'a sign' that she was the Chosen One...or something.

Mindra had fallen asleep half in and half out a cave, a serene look on her face as she continued to snooze.

((This is going to be hard since Ura/Fury is away...))

Kumara landed quietly infront of the sleeping griffin. "Mindra, wake up," she said nudging her friend, "I have something important to tell you."

Frocious awoke. "Strange..." he said as he walked out of the den. As he emerged he realised something was wrong. "Quartz Shard! Devon! Something has happened to the sun!"

Devon woke up and ran over to Frocious. "What's wrong?"

"The sun... It's... gone!" he said starting to hyperventilate. "What about Ura... Where is she! Something must have happened to her..." His thoughts began getting worse. "Worse... what if she's dead!"

"Hmm?" The griffon sleepily blinked open her eyes. Seeing who it was, she yawned and stretched, getting up. "Kumara? What's…" she yawned again, "going on? Why are we up so late?"

Rune flew as fast as he could, but knew he had to get there as soon as possible. Taking a risk, he activated Spiral Bust and enveloped himself in flame, speeding even quicker to his destination. There was a chance his bright fire would stand out and alert someone, but he didn't have time to waste at the speed he'd been going previously.

Kumara's face drooped. "Something has come up... I'll explain along the way," she said as she half pushed Mindra out of the cave. "We are heading towards the Dragon boarder."
Kumara suddenly felt the ground tremble, "What..." but before she could say anything, fireballs began to descend from the sky and crash into the mountains, "Come on!"

((This is happening everywhere))

Ki watched as a fireball barely missed the house "Virtu!" He yelled as he ran in and carried Virtu out of the house before a fireball hit the house, causing it to explode, knocking Ki to the ground, landing next to Virtu, leaving him unconscious

"Ki! Ki! Ki! Wake up!" Virtu said as she held her unconscious brother, tears in her eyes

Devon offered no words for Froucious. He just stood there with a look of shock on his face.

"We have to find her!" Frocious insisted before flying off.

Devon ran off after him.

Flain watched at Ki was hi by the fireball. "Ki!" he squawked. He flew above Ki and Virtu, absorbing the fireballs with Fire Trail.

Blitz pushed Skyward away from an incoming fireball. She used Storm Vortex to pull the fireballs to the middle, protecting the creatures that were meeting at the border.

Scrimshaw is doing his annual cleaning, when he starts to hear a group of birds squawking just outside his window.

'It's the same thing every year' he grumbles to himself 'next year i'm cleaning when these blasted birds are gone, then at least i might get a little peace'.

He takes out his crystal eye and gives it a polish, before putting it back in.

'Looks as though no-one is around, just the way i like it' he grins to himself.

"Flain, we have to get out of here" Virtu said

Just as suddenly as the fireballs came, they left, leaving the territories burning, or in the wolves case, melting.

Kumara leaped out of the cave once the fireballs subsided. "What was that..." she questioned nobody in particular"

Kumara flew out of the cave towards the dragon boarder. Along the way, she saw a similar face of a dragon lying on the ground. She dove down and landed smoothly.
"are you ok?" she asked. When she received no reply she gently pushed him with her paw.

"Calm down, are you ok?" she asked, "Wait.. I've seen you... you're, um... Icestorm?"

"I was one of the ones in Solas' presence, remember?" The strange dream with the ancestor of the sun?"

"Yeah, Mindra is coming with me," she replied, "Is anyone else coming with you?"

During the fireball storm, as Devon was following Frocious, not one fireball even came close to him.

Flain sighed. "Ki, Virtu, I think it's over." she said as the last fireball streaked from the sky.

Virtu looked at the smoldering remains of the house "I hope so... We need to wake Ki up, he could know what's going on" She said

"Do you doubt my capability?" she asked annoyed, "Because i'll have you know that just because we are small and built for speed and agility doesn't mean we lack strength."
She then leaped up and flew over to the lightning dragon. She carefully picked him up by his paws and lifted him off the ground. She laughed at how silly he looked hanging upside down.

((Kumara is carrying him by holding each of his paws with her own. Hehe that image...))

"Kumara!" Mindra cried, fleeing after her friend. She screeched to a halt so curt that she nearly tripped over her own paws. "Wh-what's going on with that dragon?"

Rune's face glowed as the fireballs streaked close to his flight. He continued using his attack to flee to the border, tunneling straight through a couple boulders in his way.

"Ah! A sign!" Myth gasped, trying her best to go around each one. The direction she was heading randomly was the griffon-dragon border, but she couldn't tell in all the confusion.
I'm getting lucky with these fireballs, she thought haughtily. Maybe that means I have a special destiny! Master of the Air and Fire! The thought excited her so much that she flew faster.

Kumara smiled and changed their position. "Alright, we better go Mindra, have you heard of Solas?"

Mindra's eyes bugged out at the name. "How could I not! She's the great ancestor. Why, did something happen?" She watched Kumara take care of the dragon hanging by its paws.

Rune arrived at the border and perched on a ledge, checking to see if anyone was nearby.

"Hello!" Skyward called out to Rune.

"A bucket of ice water always seems to do the trick." Flain suggested. "At least in books. I read a lot, if you hadn't noticed."

"Ok, so where are we going to get a bucket of ice water?" Virtu asked

Rune looked up, surprised, then frowned slightly as he realized it was a dragon. "Hmm, hello," he replied, politely but coolly. He wasn't sure if this was the Chosen dragon, but he doubted it.

"Well, sort of. There has been a crisis in which only certain creatures can fix." Kumara explained. After she finished, she saw the designated meeting spot and landed while putting the dragon down carefully.
"We're here!" she said relieved.

Frocious was so focused on finding Ura that he ran into Kumara and sent them tumbling.
"Watch it!" she growled. But the wolf was already looking around fretting.
"Sorry," he half mumbled half whined, "have you seen my friend?"
"Besides the one following you? Nope, can't say I have. You could probably stay with us until we find your friend, whats it's name?"
Frocious sat down and started playing with a stone, "Ura," he replied.
Kumara vaguely recalled the name in the dream.

Mindra nodded and bounded behind Kumara. "Oh, I see...I think! Well, can I come?" She looked up in surprise to see something bright- the sun? No, it was a phoenix. He was large and had dark, fiery feathers. The phoenix turned and narrowed his eyes distrustfully at her, before settling his gaze on Kumara. He seemed to be thinking.
