Shadowstar heard footsteps coming towards her. She shot her head in the direction it was coming from. Out of the bushes, a faded, starry blueish grey cat majestically walked towards her.
"I'm sorry, for not coming sooner," he spoke with a slight echo to his voice. Shadowstar recognized the figure. It was Poolpelt, the warrior who was skilled with many things such as hunting, fighting, climbing and even swimming! (Though he was the best swimmer in ThunderClan)
"It's not your fault, Poolpelt. The Dark Forest has interfered with most of our connections," the leader of ThunderClan replied.

Fogheart yawned. It was getting late.

"Very well, then," Shadeflight concluded. "It seems that this Clan meeting has come to a close." She leapt off the trunk and, after a fleeting glance at the rest of the ShadowClan cats, watched them disperse. A slight smile was curled around her muzzle.

Icewhisker led Shrewkit back into the den. "It's time to go to sleep." she meowed gently.

"You might have heard of me before." The mysterious cat started walking out of the shadows. "I am Silverstorm." Froststar had heard of the name, but she didn't know where she heard it from. It was like a dream that she only half-remembered.

"Why are you here? Usually when StarClan cats visit me, they have a reason..." She asked politely but curiously. The Starry cat bowed his head slightly.
"You see, I can only tell you once Breezefoot arrives. The medicine cat must be present before I continue," he answered. Shadowstar nodded and looked at the ground.

Breezestep settled herself in the medicine cat den, wondering briefly where Marinefur was. The events at the island had muddled together in her mind, and Breezestep was weary. Sighing, she retreated to her nest and curled up until she was comfortable. She was lulled to sleep by the whistling of wind in the branches.
Almost as soon as Breezestep opened her eyes again, she was greeted by a formerly cheerful place- StarClan! It made her sad to see how StarClan had aged, but she shook it off. She had to be here for a reason. Following the sound of two cats talking, she made her way through the bushes. Breeestep tilted her head as she recognized Shadowstar and a StarClan cat. "Poolpelt? Shadowstar?" I nearly didn't recognize Poolpelt- he's faded so much… she thought.

"Ah, so you have arrived," the faded cat said noticing Breezestep's presence. Shadowstar also turned in acknowledgement.
"StarClan wished to tell us something. I'm hoping it will help us against the Dark Forest," she said hopefully.

"I have indeed," Breezestep meowed, more solemn in front of StarClan. She dipped her head politely to Poolpelt. "What is this message you bring?"
