I must say that now when Brock Lesnar is the WWEWHC, the championship means something. Now when one wants to be a champion, one must possess every in-ring aspect of number one contender. One must have superb excellence of execution, technique, etc. Now the championship truly is about being the best competitor rather than being just a face of the company. WWEWHC means that the one who has it, is the best professional wrestler alive today. So Brock Lesnar deserves the title. He does not care about the fans and representing WWE but he cares about being the best and most dominant! And I love it!

^But now we will suffer months of a champion who doesn't even show up or fight aside from in PPVs. Months where the top prize in the company is AWOL on television. Months of boring squash PPVs where Brock doesn't show being dominant more than he and his opponent puts on a boring show.

I understand the bit plan behind it all. And I'm sure in a few years I'll look back on it and find it to be genius. But that doesn't mean I'm going to enjoy this long road to Wrestlemania.

But if he loses dirty it would destroy the credibility of the wrestler who fights and beats him. If Daniel Bryan comes in to fight Brock and wins because someone interfered with the match, it would make Daniel look weak and like a cheater, ruining the prospect of him being the next face of the company.

With Brock beating The Streak and decimating the current face of WWE (and is set to do it again), it's pretty clear that if anybody beats him, it will be the new face of the WWE. Summerslam 2014 marked the beginning of the end of Cena's time in the spotlight. At most he'll win the title once or twice to tie or beat Flair's record and then take a backseat, if not retire completely. This entire arc is built to make Roman or Daniel the next big thing. Batista coming in and winning would be received even worse considering how well Royal Rumble came out. It would wipe away his Drax cred.

Actually the first reason Lesnar lost the title was Paul Heyman's betrayal on him at Survivor Series 2002 (One of the greatest PPVs in WWE history) in a match against The Big Show. The second time he lost the title was at a splendid competitive match against Kurt Angle at Summerslam 2003 in which Brock Lesnar tapped out for the first time of his WWE career if I recall correctly. That Goldberg situation happened at No Way Out 2004 against Eddie Guerrero in a classic wrestling bout.

But I think that Lesnar can lose his title credibly. It is proven that Lesnar has had his toughest challenges against smaller and more technical and intellectual wrestlers than him (Kurt Angle, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, CM Punk) and this is Lesnar’s weakness. He relies on his brutal strength-oriented offense especially now when he is more of a fighter than a technical wrestler in-ring wise. That is why I consider Daniel Bryan to be the best candidate for the one who beats the one. The win over Lesnar would actually give Bryan’s character some new charm. He could finally get rid of that annoying cliché underdog thing and become a fierce wrestling machine who is just so technically gifted that you just do not win him that easily.

Either Daniel would beat Brock through technical prowess and sheer willpower, or Roman will beat Brock by beating him at his own game of strength and punching. Or if the stars shine bright and the planets align causing a blue moon on the 29th of February, CM Punk will return and be a champion of the people sick of Brock's overly long 2 year title reign.

Anyone else beating him would mess up Brock's credibility. But those three would signify a passing of the torch.

I am I the only one that thinks Smackdown > Raw?

Smackdown used to be the best show in WWE. But then they ended the brands and had every superstar show up on any show they wanted.

Since then it feels as though the biggest stars stay exclusively on Raw and Smackdown has become a B-show for midcard guys that usually aren't interesting enough to be on Raw. It's a shame.

They took away the IC title from Smackdown and then the World title, so the show is just another Superstars. NXT is better then current WWE.

So I think we're now on week 3(?) without our WWE champion on WWE TV. Not even his manager showed up this week.

Supposedly WWE thinks that with the WWE Network making PPVs cheaper, they don't have to have the champion show up every time to defend his belt. Good ****ing job WWE you made your product significantly more boring and meaningless in my eyes, and made the championship mean nothing.

There was a topic in S&N about wrestling being a real man’s sport but I thought that I could somehow put some pretentious nice attempts to sound elegant and profound about this matter in official wrestling topic.

Professional wrestling was born from traditional catch-as-catch-can style wrestling competitions at least from 19th century to early 20th century before it became scripted mid-form of athletic competition and scripted entertainment circus. But what defines a true man’s sport eventually?

We must remember that one thing is certain in industry of pro wrestling; you have to have passion, love and honest dedication to your art. Most of professional wrestlers cannot support themselves only by doing it. They have to have every day normal job and pro wrestling is more of an hobby and a life-powering passion to them rather than work. This requires passion and dedication outside of an average will to succeed etc. which I respect from the bottom of my very heart.

Professional wrestlers are one of the toughest men/women on this planet. The pain they endure just for the sake of our entertainment is indescribable. They suffer from minor injuries all the time, and years, and years after hard, efficient and dedicated work they suffer major career threatening injuries (D-Bry, Edge. SCSA, etc.) and still they are obsessed and overly in love with the thing they do just for our amusement. They wrestle well over 90 – 95 % a year and most of them do not even get acknowledged by the masses etc. but still they do it because it is their utter most will. They deserve our and sceptics respect all around the world. That ring is not mattress. It is of course not a platform of concrete but even normal bumps take their toll on their bodies. Such a sacrifice for glory that cannot be competed honestly for… but still all that suffering to bring light to people’s lives once in a while.

I really don't think so, people do that when something they care about is disrespected. Rusev crossed the line by hitting that defenseless soldier. I wouldn't be surprised if he and Lana had to apologize

It must've been scripted. From what I saw the uniform didn't look quite right, and an actual fully trained soldier wouldn't fall over and not get back up over a single kick, even if it was to the face. Along with this, fans know not to go running into the stage just because of things they don't like, and wrestlers know damn well not to attack fans that do try running into the ring, and to stay far away (the only wrestler to my knowledge to have broken this rule at any point? Orton). And if it was real, Rusev would've been taken down and arrested on the spot and we likely would've already heard of his suspension or firing.

I'm sick of this storyline. You say it's disrespectful to attack a soldier and that's true. But it's also kinda messed up to have someone imitate a soldier and get kicked, threaten to pull down the US flag, actually pull down the Russian flag, use the Russian flag as a weapon, make references to an actual tragedy, and all the other things WWE has been doing in a storyline that exists only to garner cheap pops and heat.

It was funny. This Russia VS US is boring it needs to end.

I actually hope it was scripted, don't get me wrong, but it looked real, everytime a "fan" jumps the barricade and attacks a superstar, they know how to enter the ring, but this man didn't. This Russia vs US storyline is getting stale, but how else could they advertise it? The battle of the titans would be good, but unfortunately WWE wants to cash in on growing international tensions

To be honest I think most Russev rivalries are the same and boring. It's usually Lana being hot and Russev squashing someone. Then all of a sudden someone who is doing nothing at the time comes out with AMERICA **** YEAH!!!!! Then lose at the pay per view and repeat.
