So my thinking is that if I conquer the Rhodok settlements in the West, they'll be taken over the Khergit Khanate. Which is fine, because they're weaker defenders but better open-world fighters. By exterminating the Rhodok presence, all they have is their open world combatants, who will be easy to kill, and the Khanate's occupation of cities will prevent their horsemen riding out to stop my raids on villages. While things are cooling down, and the long-term viability of Rhodok and Khergit peace wanes, I can take out the Nords toward the North and North-West. The Swadians aren't up to much, but they're at war with the Nords which means I need to get my backside in gear and take turf before the orange bois do.

I need to feed my troops as well, so I must ensure that there's plenty of enemy villages to raid, or villages of my own that can trade.

I'm pondering my long term strategy for Mount & Blade. Need to turn every location in the map green before I move onto the sequel.
