Well, I know I said I would wait until Doom Stone came in, but I had a little time to kill.

Here are all possible combinations as of this moment. That's 15 x 15 Swap Force Skylanders, good for a total of 225 of 256 combinations.

I can't update this further until Acti/VV decide to release Doom Stone, so I can get the 18 I need to finish this project (1 for the wall, 1 for the kids, 16 for the project which also includes my path A and B Skylanders).

So, now the wait begins. I can't do anything else with this project until Doom Stone shows up.

You'd figure true super fans of the game would get invited to vist them, but instead they invite others who aren't even as dedicated to Skylanders as others. They know everyone wants the newest characters as fast as possible, but instead, they make sure people who live in a certain city, in a certain state, get their hands on them first, which leads to scalpers nosebleeding all over said figure. When they reveal each game, there's only two times they provide info, which is the reveal, and E3, instead of gradually feeding us info to build hype.

Kinda makes me feel like why am I doing this? Sure, I got a signed poster, and I'm greatful. However, sometimes I wish they'd take notice to us hardcore Skylanders fans and invite us out to visit them or something. Heck, I wish I could get a job marketing for this franchise.

I just think it's odd that they release this figure in one city/state instead of at all TRU's as an exclusive for a period of time, in celebration of each new game. It's like they like seeing us suffer.

Exactly. Lately most of skylanders' social network pages have been filled with multiple posts, all basically saying "HEYYY check it out we've got doom stone, new york has doom stone, do you want him? lolnope too bad," and they tease us with new pictures of him each time too.

Quit yer whining...it was a good gesture on their part and they didn't have to give any out. Pretty soon we'll all be swimming in Doom Stones. Not to worry.

The media event is just that---to gather a bunch of folks to help spread the word. Trust me, they're doing work for the privilege. It's not a vacation.

Excellent pics of the collection--I honestly didn't think you were going to pull it off---but if you are having serious doubts on why you're doing it--it's time to take a step back.

Are you planning on actually playing and upgrading all 256 of these guys?

Actually, GR, I did plan on upgrading them. I planned on picking the best path from each half, so to try and make really good figures out of all of them.

Thats alot of Swappers, gotta swap them all!!! LOL

Doomstone will be out by june 1st at the latest is my prediction. Dont bother with ebay, he's a cool figure but you can get him easily by then. I still have mine boxed, he's sitting next to my sealed Ninjini from last year that I got. My son is the greatest thou, they hand him his, he runs to the nearest portal and watches his video then opens him up right there in the store.

Pyro, it would take a HUGE display to display all 256. I would need an entire wall for it, that's for sure. I can do that once I get a custom room built for my collection.

Just curious, does anyone thing GameMaster78 is the sole person who has accomplished this? It certainly seems likely although there are many Skylanders fans, hardcore and casual, not associated with an online outlet or forum.

Well, at least he isn't trying to get every single chase variant. Some of the prices on those things are INSANE now ($2,000 for Red Camo, $???? for Green Shroomboom, $1,000 for Gold Fire Kraken, and so on).

I think we're friends on Xbox live back when Giants came out, but since I only have Swap Force on Wii U that is only place I can compare collections.

This was a costly project, but I figured each figure came at cost, instead of hundreds, so it makes me feel a little better knowing that. I just wanted to do something not many - if any - will do for their collection.

I used to think chase variants were a way to set my collection a part from others, but 1000+ people will own the same chase variants, so I thought maybe this would make my collection truly unique.

There MAY still be a chance I hunt down the chase variants again, but not until I sell a movie. Even then, I will be going in order. If I can't get the silvers, golds, GITD's, and such back, I don't want any of them.

How did you get 16 of the Wash Buckler and Blast Zone figures? Did you buy 16 Starter Packs or just buy the extra ones on eBay?

You think there are 1000+ Red Camo, Metallic Shroom Boom, Gold Fire Kraken, etc out there? Also you are implying 1000+ people will have all of the variants. If you are not implying this then you are also saying your collection isn't unique because millions of people own some of the combinations you do. I think what you have done is neat but the way you try to make it sound more unique than owning a collection of items that often number in the hundreds versus a bunch of items that number in the hundreds of thousands is crazy.

Oh and pyro, there is an accolade in the game for playing with all256 combos, but you can get that with one of each of the 16 swappers and a lot of time.

A person that takes a few minutes in Photoshop to cobble together 16 photos into an image similar to yours is a "no-lifer", but someone that not only buys these but also makes a video of their keepsake box along with pulling some out for proof is worthwhile? And you aren't doing this for attention? Heck, you are well documented being very bothered by the fact that you haven't gotten enough attention, particularly from the makers of the game. Don't break that arm patting yourself on the back for wasting $4 grand buying large quantities of common figures we all have. Maybe for your next trick you can buy 200 SSA Whirlwinds for an epic TWISTS OF FURY photo, because no one else has done that either.

To be honest, most people can accomplish everything you did with what we have now, but we cannot produce a collection of figures that many of which only number in the dozens total. You are really dismissive of people those that do have chases are part of their collections since you divested of the ones you had.

Try a little humbleness and less spite towards others you don't deem worthy. You did something neat, great, the people are impressed by your dedication. You might have gotten a little more interest in people helping you out earlier with New York Doom Stones if you did this. Don't worry about showing the "first" collections page showing the combinations, another member's son did this three weeks ago with the extra Doom Stone I gave to him instead of you.

if you average out each skylander at no less than 15 dollars average... its 3,840. but thats getting each one individually, and theres places that dont have skylanders that are 15 bucks, but 17 bucks! so if you average it out to 17 bucks. $4,352.

Hard? Heh, every single one of them is common. All it takes is buying sixteen of them instead of one. Is that challenging? I'm on the dude because how he is dismissive and insulting of others, not because I'm "jelly" of having a bunch of the exact same Skylanders I have, and have had longer than he has had them.

As I said, it's neat. Heck, I even made the helpful suggestion a while back that probably saved him a few hundred on the Starter Pack figures. He set a goal and he reached it, good job.

Okay, let me better explain my no lifer term. When someone makes stuff with photoshop, but it's been made to fool people into believing something when they know its a lie, that's someone with no life in my eyes. I have better things to do than lie, which is why I will be doing a video incase people find it hard to believe.

I'm not offended by someone saying I could have photoshopped it, but if someone takes that much time photoshopping just to convince people of something they definitely have no life. As a humble person, I have no problem saying that when it comes to that type of situation.
