If you don't know the gender of something, "it" is the only English pronoun that will suffice. Calling the child they do not have "it" does not disrespect them because they are not real.

Also, SCF7, that sounds a little bit like OCD instead of Asperger's. Please tell me you got the diagnosis from a trained physician/psychologist who is an expert or specialist on autism and its variants. o.o ADD was the big thing before the news latched onto autism and I'd hate to see a new generation get treated the way those poor kids were (thankfully, I didn't get my diagnosis until my mid-20's, at which point nobody wanted to just cram Ritalin down me to make me a better student).

Yes, I did. And it is asperger's my ocd tendecies are little side nuisances. The world won't end if I don't do it, but it'll keep me up at night. Lulz.

No I don't watch it, but I have been called Sheldon before. I hide my diagnosis extremely well in real life, and here at times.

I'm glad you're able to work through it. I chose to be unmedicated for my ADD and it's sometimes a struggle to live with. But, knowing my strengths and weaknesses, I try to work with what I have. I'm glad you aren't letting your unique brain eat you too much (though I understand the need to just do certain things sometimes ).

I have some slightly OCD tendencies as well. Like, everything in my room has to be in a certain place. Sometimes I have little outbursts. Like, If something is missing I start screaming and throwing things. :3 It's not fun.

My life is ADD-licious. It's actually a much bigger issue than being blind.

I recommend teaching yourself some meditation techniques to deal with situations like that. I have times when I am full of anger and stress over something illogical and I just have to remember to breathe and focus on that long enough to let my brain calm down so I can think straight again.

I should try that. Yeah, when I do it it's always over something completely pointless. In school I used to throw everything off of my desk if something was in the wrong place. I usually only do it when I'm on my own. If there are lots of people round me I just have to try and cope. Usually I end up digging my nails into my arms, and then I end up with big red scratches. usually I take it out on myself otherwise I break something. Many Playstation controllers have been lost due to that.

I don't take meds. My psychiatriist said it...it messes with biology ill just say that. Three years, the only med I take is amoxicillin, an antibiotic.

Faun: I had serious anger issues when I was younger (to the point where I was getting violent towards my classmates o.o). I definitely recommend learning some meditative breathing exercises and possibly enrolling in an exercise program (or, if you can't do that, just run some laps in your yard/jog in place to get your heart rate up; exercise helps burn off some of the brain energy).

SCF7: Yaaaay! I am adamantly against medicating anyone who hasn't finished puberty since we don't know what it can do to a developing brain. Besides, without meds you get the added bonus of learning how to handle your brain in a more effective way.

Someone (I'm not gonna say who, only that their name begins with "Blackholes") started a topic on the Stuff and Nonsense section to slam me. It's hillarious.

Darby, if you've got serious anxiety issues and a doctor has given you medication to help you cope, that's not a bad thing. I would ask him/her if there are other options available (counseling, anxiety management training, etc.) to help you cope with your anxiety in the event that you can't get to your meds. It's always good to have more than one option available when you're dealing with something like this. Just remember to ask your doctor any questions you have.

I know this has been said countless times before, but I seriously think the best thing to do is not respond at all. They'll lose interest. Any kinda reply just encourages them.

Odds are dark52 will completely ignore it. The only gold sparx I've ever seen him gnorc or ripto is Spyra, whom was against BH_W.

You're young yet, CAV, and haven't been seen the depths of the Internet (well, not all of them, anyway) but BH_W really is behaving like the average troll. All of the trolls I've met have tried to make things personal (they don't usually succeed, but they try ).

I just wish Dark would install Hunters. I can think of a couple of good Hunters at the top of my head.
