Kali was having enough. Every single one of the cockatoos were like family to her, and she wasn't going to allow any of them get injured for that Komodo Dragon's insane pleasure. After a while, Kali figured out who that particular Komodo Dragon was
"Wait, please stop... Shadow, isn't it? Please, we just want peace. I'm begging you, just, leave us alone. What is it that you want with us? We haven't done anything to you." Kali commented, frightful and desperate to get through to him.

Unbeknown to her, a few of the cockatoos already flee the tree, and two of them nearly bumped into Barloc.
"What are you two doing roaming in the middle if the night!?" he asked, but he saw them with a few missing feathers and very, very startled.
"We're sorry king Barloc, but out home is no more. It's just been turned into an insane Komodo Dragon's dining room." one of them explained, almost crying.
"WHAT!? Komodo..." Barloc was in a state of shock. How on earth did Shadow managed to climb his tree. Despite the two cockatoo's please for their king to run away with them, Barloc stormed off towards the tree, almost with the speed of a Peregrine falcon...

Just what Kali feared. Barloc was at it again, taunting dangerous predators. Before Kali could say anything, Barloc came, almost hugging her.
"Darling, are you alright? Where is he!? Where... YOU!" Barloc yelled, finally seeing where Shadow was. It was hard to tell if he was furious or just terrified on what he caused.

"Not our tree!" Kali said, terrified. Unlike Barloc, she was too fond of that tree. After all, if was her father's, the previous king of the cockatoos.
"Come on, there is gotta be another way. Haven't you obsessed enough over that stupid tiger? I bet she isn't the first to hurt you, and at this rate, it won't be the last! Why can't you simply move on and get a life?" Barloc commented, sensing Kali's distress. He was feeling guilty for getting them into that mess, but if Shadow could climb their tree from the very beginning, why didn't he did it much earlier?

Barloc was annoyed on how extreme an obsession could get. There was no doubt Shadow didn't want to be reasoned with, but Barloc didn't want to work for a low life predator like him.
"You know what? Keep the tree! Look at this jungle! There are tons of trees that we can call home!" Barloc said stubbornly, refusing to obey the dragon's demands. He then turned on Kali.
"So sorry for all of this dear, but, this is just a tree. We will make another one our home. We mustn't let this jerk enslave us like this. Now, all of you, let's MOVE!" he then ordered, turninh to the remaining cockatoos, who then following him to an unknown destination.

Barloc didn't realized that Kali stayed behind. She was too fond of that tree, so she remained there to talk to Shadow.
"So all you want is that poor tiger..." Kali said, her voice breaking. Rose seemed like such a nice youngster in the short while she has known her, so what she was about to suggest hurt her.
"If I promise to bring the young Rose to you... will you promise to leave the tree, leave my family alone and stop this insanity?" Kali asked, almost in tears.

Kali understood, but if only she'd known about his empty promises.
"I'm so sorry for whatever Barloc caused you, he is so stupid sometimes." she said, finding it very hard to lift off and carry the task. She tried to engage him into conversation to see if there was at least a bit of good in him.

Kali didn't realized that the cockatoo with the injured wing was still around. But now that Shadow wasn't attacking, he soared to the ground, trying to find the nearest Whirlpool underground hole.
"How do you about... never mind. Listen, I'm afraid that I am low on news. Can you... at least tell me what did that tiger did to you so terribly for you to want revenge this badly?" she asked. Everybody kept saying that it was due to a scratch, but Kali wanted to believe it was something else. She found too stupid wanting revenge for something you asked for it in the first place. Rose did it in self defense after all.

Thunder headed for his den.

"It was at first a little revenge due to a scratch she gave me. But now she attacked me and gave me nasty and gaping wounds on my back and legs. Along with the civet they both attacked me. I've only acted in self-defense."

Kali didn't know what to believe, but she intended to find the whole truth behind all thar revenge plot.
"So... they just attacked you from out of nowhere? But, that's not like the tiger at all, and even less Sybil... wait, Sybil attacked you too?" she asked, in shock, pretending to believe him, but she was sure it was the other way around that occurred.

Kali thought about it for a moment. It was true that he tried to cross the bridge, but what then? She knew that there was a time but Shadow was at the Haven, but she didn't know that the second attack was right there at Hunted Island.
"Hmm... well, I am really not sure why they would do such a thing, especially Sybil. I mean, she created that Haven for animals who are endangered, and Komodo Dragons are..." but Kali quickly changed the subject before he got any ideas.
"So then, you just want the tiger alone?" she asked, as cool as possible.

Kali was preparing to fly off, but still tried very hard to get to know that particular Komodo Dragon.
"Can I ask... how exactly are you going to extract your revenge?" she asked, trying to be prepared for the answer...

"Wait, just like that? All this madness, for just a simple apology?" Kali asked, finding hard to believe him. After all, he just savagely attacked her family. That doesn't sound like the type to sit around and ask things politely. Kali knew there was much more to the story, but her beloved tree was on the line. She was in such a deep, moral struggle...

Kali wanted the tree very badly, but she didn't want Rose to get hurt either. But since Shadow said he only wanted to talk, she forced herself to believe it.
"Alright then. Just Rose, just a talk. Alright then, I will bring her to you as soon as possible." Kali said, flying off.

On her way to the Haven, she was struck with a lot of thoughts. That Komodo Dragon just tried to kill her, and her tail was evidence from it. She was extremely lucky his poisonous teeth didn't reached the skin. Rose liked her, so that was to her advantage. After she bringer Rose to him, she was planning to spy on him to see if indeed, it was an apology all he wanted.

Thinking things through made Kali arrived to the Haven as if no time at all had passed. She flew passed Sybil, who dissapeared into the forest when she finished at Light Beach. It was quite dark out there, and cockatoo vision wasn't the best in that time. She flew as far away from Sybil as possible, and then called.
"Rose! Hey Rose, where are you? I need to talk to you!" she called, in sort of a screaming whisper. She didn't want anyone else of Sybil's residents to find out she was there.

Kali searched the forest for at least ten minutes, when she finally heard Rose calling back. She could locate her by the tiger's glowing eyes.
"Oh Rose, hello. Long time no see. Hey, I know it's very late, but this couldn't wait any longer. I know my husband has been a jerk to you, but after a long time, I managed to convince him to let you into our tree, where he will directly apologize to you." Kali invented, having practicing that lie ever since she left Shadow.

Ivor, the badger however was a nocturnal, so he is awake. I, Aeriji, the margay would be there too, but I am currently lost deep within dingo territory. Ivor, however is nearby just below the surface, listening. He is even more active now due to the current situation. After listening for a little while he pops up out of the ground, spraying dirt everywhere, brushing dirt from hid muzzle he speaks.

"What are you whispering about so late in the night my feathered friend," he asks gently brushing dirt off of Kali's feathers.

Just what Kali didn't wanted, one of Sybil's guests knowing about that conversation. She that fast, and responded.
"Oh, I was just inviting sweet little Rose to a cockatoo meeting. I want Barloc to apologize for how mean he was to her when they first met." Kali explained, relaxed and collected, as if that little intrusion didn't bothered her at all.

Kali knew what to respond about Shadow, but needed to think fast about why in night.
"Ah, well that is a little surprise. You see, we were tired of that humongous lizard roaming around, so we asked Whirlpool to prepare a special trap for him. We thought it would fail, but to our surprise, it worked." Kali explained, sounding very convincing.
"As to why so late at night, well, we thought since you are nocturnal, you would be more available. And... Barloc is usually in a better mood at night, since the view of the stars from up our tree is exceptionally beautiful." she added, surprisingly, not stammering. She handled pressure far more better than her impatient husband, as well as being far more intelligent than him.

Ivor, however is not easily convinced. Brushing his whiskers he looks Kali in the eyes. His eyes glisten in the moonlight.

"Really? Than you won't mind me coming along then. Or are you going to tell really what's going on," he says firmly.

It was harder than Kali anticipated. Ivor appearing, and now Rose wanted Sybil and Sayan to come along? Her brain needed to be at the top in order to convince Rose to come alone.
"Wait Rose, it's better if you come alone. Barloc wants you to come alone. He is so annoyingly proud, he would feel embarrassed if he apologized to you in front of Sybil and a few others. Besides, the meeting is on top of the trees, and I don't think the branches would hold so much weight. And, no offense to you Mr... eh, Badger, but I don't think you would be able to climb that tree." Kali commented, feeling a little bit desperate.

"Komodo Dragon's can't climb trees like ours. It's too steep, and just last night, it rained. His claws can't handle them as well as a cat." Kali lied, trying very hard to control her desperation.
"Don't wake your poor friend Sayan, he sounds so asleep." Kali commented, not seeing Sayan, but hearing his snores.
"Besides, I guarantee you that the trap Shadow's in right now is impenetrable. Whirlpool is a genius. I bet you heard how a mongoose was stuck in his home for a whole day." she then added, hoping to convince her.

"Calm yourself, my feathered friend. Everyone can see that you're lying. Now please tell the truth. As for Sybil, I would let her rest, she's had a rough day. If things go south, I can always make his going rough," Ivor says.

Kali was really infuriated with Ivor after that comment.
"How dare you call me a liar!? I never lie! Everything was going so smoothly until you had to show you furry face into the conversation. After all the work I've been through to make Barloc apologize to Rose, and you just had to butt in and ruin everything!" she yelled, extremely upset. In fact, that was the first time she ever lied, and having Ivor accused her like that really offended her, even if he was right.
It was a behavior rarely seen in her, but that accusation made her act a lot like her husband.
"You know what Rose? Forget it! If you don't want to come into the meeting, then suit yourself! I only tried to do you a favor, but maybe my husband was right! You can't trust predators!" she said with irritation, flying off, pretending to leave, though she remained in the forest, landing on a nearby branch.
She was actually trying to use reverse psychology on Rose, hoping her tantrum would make Rose feel guilty and agree on her terms.

But Kali was already a little too far, but not as far as to get out of view. She was in that branch, pretending she was resting before the fly home.

OOC: Yeah, I changed it.

"I apologize if I offended you, miss. I meant no harm, I am simply trying to help. Now let me rephrase it. What is worrying you," he asks gently.

Kali's planned worked, but was still irritated with the badger. Before replying to Rose, she talked to the badger instead.
"See my tail? We were attacked by Shadow, thus making Barloc hate predators more than ever. He ordered Whirlpool to build that trap and then went as far as to forbid us to help Sybil just because she had predators at her sanctuary. That's why I convinced him to get to know Rose and apologize to her, so that he could see that not all predators are the same." she explained to Ivor, very surprised with herself on how naturally all that lie came up. She almost started to believe in her own lies.
"So then, it's not too late yet. Rose, do you want to come or simply remain here with... the badger?" Kali asked, knowing that she was slowly, but surely convincing Rose to come alone.

Ivor vanishes underground and pops up close to the water. He motions for an orca to come, hoping one may be awake. Not knowing what to think about this not so secret rendezvous, he decides to follow the two.

OOC: Thanks. I hope I didn't ask for too much.

The only orca around at the moment was Cairo, who was taking a stroll around the cold waters. He liked that feeling, until he heard the splash.
"Oh? Woah, you're that badger! I haven't seen you in a very long time. What brings you to the beach?" Cairo asked, approaching.

OOC: No its fine Felines.

"Shh! Yeah, its been a while, since I've seen you Cairo, my friend. Rose has left for a rendezvous with Bartoc, his wife, Kali is bringing her. However I don't know if that really is the case. In fact I think its Shadow she is being brought to, because Kali was missing many feathers and was scared. So I've decided to go myself to investigate," Ivor says in a whisper.

Kali plan was running perfectly, with the exception of how was she going to cross to the other island.
"Hey Rose, you can swim, can't you? I wouldn't want to bother the orcas." Kali asked, not knowing about her nearly drowning once.

"Barloc has a wife? That old oaf? Hah, who would have guessed?" Cairo said with a chucke, before realizing the rest.
"Wait, you think a cockatoo is leading Rose to Shadow? That seems like a too wild speculation. You say she was missing tail feathers. Why do you think it was from Shadow? Cockatoos live high on the trees and barely come to the ground." Cairo explained, thrown a little off about such an outrageous suspicion.
