So, my understanding from what I've heard so far about Series 2 Zap is that his Wow Pow is an improvement for the Tesla Dragon path by a couple of tiers, but not so much of an improvement for Slime Serpent.
As usual i'd like to hear more opinions about him from as many different people as I can, so that we can feel fairly confident about whatever tier we decide to put him in at first. Before that, however, i'd like to make sure that Series One's Slime Serpent is in the correct tier: It's in C Tier now, but I've forgotten if there was a reason why. I keep hearing that the abilties of the slime have been nerfed, so I was wondering whether S1 Slime Serpent still competes in the current 'Giants C Tier environment or whether it needs to be moved down.

No, S1 Slime Serpent should stay in C Tier. He still does fine on that path in Giants.

NO! Wrong Tier!! S1 Slime Serpent should be K.O.ed into D tier! The sea slime slide (try saying that 5 times) is BADLY nerfed now.
The slide doesn't travel as fast or far anymore, doesn't slow you down as much, and lasts a shorter time (or at least the electricity does). Plus, it can be avoided COMPLETELY by ranged characters other than him. Tasiji posted this once too.

I will, Burning Bow Wow should be B tier.
His Firebark does 18 damage per fire ball and it fires pretty fast, his Burning Bee combo (my favorite) follows your opponent and continuously does 18 damage, you can have up to 2 swarms of bees at a time; it's really awesome! His comet dash gives him some speed and he does a fair amount of around 54 damage with it. His primary combo kinda sucks though (it just shoots 3 fireballs at once, nothing special if you ask me) With the Pyro Pinwheel, it's actually worth charging up the comet slam because you can damage your opponent while charging up the big finish, over 100 damage at least! His Fire Wall attack is good for melee characters though and pushing them back. He leaves behind a burning bag from the slam that does 23 damage when stepped on, it's kind of easy to avoid. He is easily A tier, but due to his pathetic armor (it's as low as Gill Grunt's armor, both have the lowest armor in the game) and low health, he can't be. A tier is too good for him because many of them have superior armor and/or health (like Series 2 Ignitor and Stump Smash), they'll defeat him before he can beat them. C tier and below isn't good enough for him cuz most of them aren't nearly as versatile as he is nor rack up damage as fast. I recommend putting him (and series 2 zap as I mentioned before) in B tier as a starting point just so they can go somewhere, move em somewhere else later if more opinions disagree.

Just a speculation here, but Pyro pooch appears to be kind of like Wind master on warnado. Both paths upgrade a single attack, and that attack appears to be more like creating a hazard.

#1712 Posted: 21:44:59 19/01/2013
It's not, they aren't ANYTHING like each other.
1. Pyro Pooch lets the walls shoot their own fireballs when you shoot, Wind Master doesn't rack up damage as fast nor can it do something like this. 2. The Fire Wall acts like somewhat of a shield, the Tornados do not. 3. The tornados can be controlled and they home in on enemies (slowly I will add), the Fire Wall doesn't.

I know the firewall is quite different from the tornado,. It was just a little comparison between the upgrades, and the fact that both paths make your secondary attack a high damage dealing (40 and 37) attack that is exclusive to the path. |

^ Neither, B tier.
He does a lot of damage with his attacks, but his defense is so poor; extremely low armor and pathetic health. He's powerful but terribly easy to defeat, like Trigger Happy.

Idk, honestly I'm just overall not impressed with him.
He looked cool, I bought two of him (one Granite, one regular); tried both paths and no dice. His hammer path is powerful, but his animations are god awful and he's reeeeeeeeeaaaally slow. And as I said in my previous post, I'm just unsure how to exactly play his Rubble Master path. Use your guided-boulders as a 'gap-closer' since he's so slow? Spam boulders + explode? Just roll around 24/7? I mean no matter what I do, what it boils down to is him getting extra armor, which is always a plus, but besides his enormous health pool, that's about all he has going for him IMO. Again, I could be playing his "S-Tier" path completely wrong, but as of now I'm fairly disappointed.

I am thinking crusher needs to step down. He isnt really that good on rubble master, and gets creamed by many of my skylanders. I suggest a drop from S to upper B.

Don't forget about this! We gotta place and somewhere, they're still unsorted. Read my earlier posts. As for Crusher, keep Rubble Master in S. His animations may be slow and he may take finesse to use, but his High HP) and armor make him too good. While rolling around in Boulder form, it makes it harder for your adversary to hit you if you keep spamming it for speed, like an avalanche; then explode for the big finish. Just remember to do critical hit and armor heroics to make him a beast. See this:

The burning bow wow path is fun, but when charging the pyro pinwheel, the fireballs don't really hit enemies, making the upgrade a little useless in my opinion, but omg it's awesome!

Sorry to break it to you, but High HP and Armor doesn't make a character auto "God Tier". If Trigger Happy had a high health-pool and armor, he still would be crap because of his core mechanics. Crusher isn't bad, but he's not S-Tier material either; on either path. I definitely think that B might be too low, but A-Tier is a lot more justified. He's clunky as hell with his Rubble Master path, and while Hammer Path does loads of damage, he loses that armor and has incredibly long swing animations.

erm what? I just went Marauder Voodood vs LL Tree Rex, and Voodood was doing 16 damage. I mean come on are you kidding me, the zipline was doing more at 18 dmg lol. I have seen the game half all damage before, but this.. lol. Tree Rex's non-charged ground slams were doing the normal 28, and I was doing a third of the normal. I lost with Tree Rex having about 200 left. Voodood lv 15, Tree Rex lv 6, fair fight, Cube Dungeon. Voodood had 37 heroics, Tree Rex none.
Also yes move Rubble Master Crusher where he belongs in A, very rarely do more than one boulder explode on an opponent and damage them, in my experience. Crusher really doesn't fit any of the S guidelines posted like a page or two back. Sure he has stealth when you're using the boulders (he's only damaged if you're attacking where he "is".) but you can't see yourself moving and the boulders are incredibly clunky. Its damage is not really justifiable for S tier. |

Why Rubble Master is in S (Tasiji told me this)
Because it's almost impossible for most characters to drain 1,200~ HP in the face of the decent-to-high damage Crusher can inflict rolling around and exploding rocks, hitting at range with his hammer, and in general being a solid character. Additionally, his main elemental threat is Air, and the only one who's really taking that fight reliably is Swarm, so type weaknesses are almost a non-issue. He's not an extreme powerhouse, but his ridiculous HP and +Armor scores coupled with the respectable damage he does deal make him a tough kill even for the best characters in the game, especially after Heroics.

and in any case i need serious help using voodood lol, judging by me wanting him down to B or even C a couple pages back, but then I looked at his damage output and wow, just wow. I've been losing every single fight with him, I've been ziplining up to most opponents and going pseudo-Stealth Elf on them.

If an air character has full elemental power they should not lose to Crusher, same applies to every element when fighting their elemental weakness. Crusher is still good, don't get me wrong, but the boulders are so darn clunky it makes them hard to deal damage with. The explosion is nice, but it's not spammable. Overall......A tier with Crusher.

^Yeah if the Air element was that good, most of the Air elements (except Swarm and Tempest Dragon Whirlwind) are pretty much overshadowed by many of the other elements in terms of strength.
is a decent story mode character, but he's not so great in PvP. Low damaging attacks and poor knockback, Bird Blaster is AWFUL and Vac-Packateer is just average. Like S1 Zap, he is fun to play, but at the same time he's pathetic. Same as Jet-Vac. , she's just average in PvP. Dunno about Series 2 though (I do not plan on getting her series 2 figure either). Don't have but everyone I know hates him.

Still though, the air element as a whole is overshadowed by the rest of the elements, especially Water and Earth. and are fun but weak, is boring, and is bizarre; isn't enough to make up for them. There are still lots of better characters than them, plus a lot of them (except Swarm and Whirlwind) aren't even super high on this current tier.

Jet vac is pretty good on both paths. Warnado is a very nice keep away artist. Lightning rod is amazing on both paths, I don't care what anyone says. Whirlwind is very powerful on Tempest dragon, and Ultimate rainbower is decent with the wow pow. Sonicboom: I great on both paths, and quite fun using her babies.
