Shard smiled as their paws reached the sand. He rigidly stopped as his feet sunk in just a tad, his expression one of shock.

"come on, its just sand." she said, wondering what was up.

Shard stepped shakily, walking slowly and tentatively. He felt like something was going to erupt from the sand suddenly. Like a snake or something....

Krone had checked the cabin next to his, just a real quick look. It was in fact vacant and everything seemed to be in order. He gave a slight nod and then walked out to find something to do. Krone decided to grab his surfboard and do a bit of surfing. Though he did wish that Kento was there with him, but she was out shopping.

The girls were finally heading back from shopping. At last, god, Kento was so DONE with their arguing! She just wanted to go home, take a long, long bath, and snuggle with Krone on the couch or something. Maybe to swimming with him. That would be nice.

Nailoh padded through the sand, her slightly bigger than average paws helping out with this, as she didn't sink as much. "Calm down, Shard, you'll be fine. Nothing is going to attack you.

Nadia and Roxy were in fact arguing as usual, and as usual, it was really over nothing important. With how much time they spent yelling at each other and insulting each other, it seemed as though they enjoyed it. And poor Abby was always stuck with the job of desperately trying to get them to stop, and she was currently failing miserably. They weren't even listening to her anymore.

Krone had already changed into his wet suit, and he had grabbed his surfboard. He was heading into the water now.

Shard followed Nailoh's reassuring voice. The sand here....it's so soft. It's nice. Like dry water I can stand on. He thought, a small smile appearing on his lips. He sighed, somewhat happier now.

Nailoh's tail wagged as she padded through the sand.

Kento groaned. "im so done. Im going home. Im sorry abby. Good luck." she set off at a job.

Abby sighed and waved goodbye to her friend. She didn't blame her for leaving. She would, too, if she wasn't afraid of leaving Nadia and Roxanne alone together. That would only end in disaster.

Krone was surfing now, riding the waves like a professional. He had left his cell phone with Nearra, knowing that his sister would be more than capable of taking any calls, as he figured Kento would probably call at some point.

Shard's eyes perceived shining light. The sun was practically blazing today. It burned his well....almost returning eyesight. Still, he didn't really complain about it other than put a hand over his head to block the sun.

Nailoh hopped along, prancing through the sand as best she could.

Kento muttered mean things, and dialed krone's cell phone.

Nearra picked up immediately and put the cell on speaker, so that she could continue typing on the computer.
"Hey, this is command central, can I take a message?" She asked, an amused tone to her voice.

Occ: yo yo yo

Bain stepped out of the cabin but turned around, "thanks healer person." he said as wandered over to the water's edge.

Shard shifted to a wolf as well, matching his pace with Nailoh. "See any good spots?" He asked casually.

She chuckled. "hey nearra. Where's krone?" she asked, almost to the camp.

"mmm, yeeah. Come on." she nudged him towards the water a bit more.

"Out surfing." She replied. "And he showed up with three werewolves. One looked like he couldn't see, one looked crippled, and the other was in such bad shape that my brother had to carry him. I tried to get some answers from him, but he only said to answer the phone if someone calls. Lame. I wanted to know what's going on." She said, clearly not happy about being left out of the loop.

"oh my god! Wait, what did the crippled one look like?" she asked, thinking back to a certain werewolf she had met before who'd been injured.

Nearra then described the crippled werewolf down to the last detail. With that kind of skill, she could be a writer.

Shard stopped abruptly as a scent passed his nose. It was familiar....very familiar. But no, it couldn't be. He shrugged it off and continued walking, thoughts drifting to the past.

Bain stood at the waters edge and looked off to the horizon. "Somewhere out there is home, wow... i am so far away..."

Leanne was walking along when she saw a lone werewolf at the water's edge. Is that? No....it's not.... She thought, sadly. Still, though. He looked lonely. So she lightly walked up to him. "Umm....hello!" She said, kinda quietly.

Bain replied without turning around, "Hey... hows it going?" he starred at the ocean for a moment longer and then turned around.

"god, nearra. You should be a writer!" kento muttered. "but anyway, thats nailoh. I talked to her last time i was in loren's camp."

"Oh, so that's who she is. I was wondering, and Krone never tells me anything. Alright, well, they're all down at the beach I think." She said, seemingly ignoring the comment on her being a writer.

"A-Are you new here?" Leanne asked rather shyly. She sat behind him, slightly to his side, and criss-crossed her legs. Leanne's wings fluttered slightly before settling.

Shard found a nice soft patch of sand. He sat and sighed, inhaling the now pungent smell of brine intermingled with all sorts of weres.

"Well... yeah... But I dont know if i'm going to stay here for long or not..." he said as he sat down in front of Leanne.

Leanne blinked, pausing in silence before responding. Actually she was just....remembering. "You....remind me of someone I knew once. Alone. Always wandering around like some lost person." Leanne looked down. She sighed.

Nailoh sat with him, tail swishing in the sand happily. She panted slightly in the heat, wishing her fur wasn't so thick. She didn't want to shift back, because of the inconvenience. She just sighed and smiled, happy to not have a care in the world.

Kento snickered. "Yeah, I'll go down and say hi later. Right now all I want is a bath and a nap." She admitted, and picked up speed, jogging faster. She took a chug from her water bottle.

"I didn't think shopping would be that tiring. What'd you do, fight with a girl over a dress or something?" Nearra chuckled a bit.

Shard laid down, the sand running through his paws. He let out a doggy yawn, his tail swishing back and forth. "It's hot..." He said, shifting uncomfortably.

"No, i dealt with two arguing weres all night. God! Nadia and roxy should just, i dunno, hate snog and get it overwith already! Gah, i wish quadrants were useable in realiity..." she muttered, making refferences to, as usual, homestuck.

Nailoh nodded. "yes, thats what the beach is. If you want to go in the water we can."

Nearra chuckled a bit.
"If they were, I'd actually leave my room more often just so I could use them. But it sounds like I'm not the only one that doesn't like Red. But you know, maybe the two of them actually like fighting with each other. Maybe its like their mission in life or something to make the other one miserable." She said, snickering.

"N-No, I'm fine." He said shakily, and then a bit too quickly added. "Maybe we could move to a shady spot or something. See anything?"

"Then they should do so on their own time, instead of making everyone around them miserable as well." Kento grumbled.

"No problem. Come on." She nuzzled him, and promptly headed for the water, grinning to herself.

"Okay. He followed Nailoh, though kinda kept tripping through the sand. Shard just wasn't used to this soft sand yet.

"They're probably too busy arguing to think about that. I bet they just fight with each other on sight, and don't care who else is around." She said.

"Its funny you say that..." Bain paused, "I've been lost for a long time. I'm trying to go home... but I dont know where it is..." he sad sadly rubbing his face with his hands.

"Heehee, you're silly. Just like he was." She sighed and then poked Bain's chest. "You're home is right here. Live life wherever you go! That's your home." She said in a very fun, light hearted manner.

Bane froze. "where... are you... from?" he stuttered.

"Me? Oh, here and there. Searching. For a person...." She said, blushing somewhat. "Someone....who......might not be alive at all anymore..." Leanne added sadly.

Bain stepped towards her, "what happened?" he reached out towards her.

"Well, he rescued me when the rest of my small Clan was killed by a band of Vamps." She said, pulling her knees to her chest and wrapping her arms around them. "After that, we lived a while. However, Shard is a wanted were in the Vampire world. He takes too many dangerous missions. And one day.....well, they attacked. He told me to run, so run I did." She sighed. "When I came back, everything was burned down, and neither scent nor trail was left of him...." Leanne recounted sadly.

"i'm so sorry..."bain said as he sat down with her. he put his arm around her. "At least you have him in your memories. You should be thankful for that." he said as he smiled at her and paused for a moment. "I wish I were as lucky as you, to have memories of people you care about." He said lacking significant emotion of any kind.

"It's okay! Dwelling on the past never gets you anywhere in the future." She brightened almost instantly, and then came back down. "But...I just wish I got the chance to thank him....for everything." She sighed. "If.....If it weren't for he, I would never have survived as long as I have." She smiled somewhat grimly. "Yet even so....we should've joined a group. A Clan. I wanted to rejoin one. Cause a Clan is a family. And a family cares for each other." She smiled.

Nailoh set her tail against his side, guiding him. They neared the water, and firmer sand... The waves were loud and clear.

Kento chuckled a bit. "yeah, seriously. It's really annoying. God... I ship them so hard. Just... Yes." was all she could say after a while.

Nearra chuckled at that.
"Well, as annoying as it is, maybe there's even more to it than fighting. Heck, maybe they bury their real feelings under all that anger and hatred. I know Red doesn't like to show whether she cares or not. I never met the other girl, but it doesn't sound like she'd be one to express something other than anger." She said.

Shard's ears twitched as the waves crashed onto the shore and he was pelted with tiny droplets of sea water. "N-Nailoh?" He called out, a hint of fear in his voice.

Bain turned around, "I need to think for a bit..." He started to walk away. "you can come with me if you want..." he said sounding somewhat hopeful that she would come with him.

"Okay! It's not like I have anything else to do." She said and then shifted into a beautiful heron, flying above him.

Bain looked up, "well... i didn't expect that..." he said sort of laughing at himself. "What is it like to fly?" he yelled up to her.
