Yay got my trigger snappy and whisper elf in the mail yesterday!

if they dont have you in the system, complain. they didnt have me in the system, i yelled. the next day i got an email saying they found it, and they arrived a week later. same with flocked stumpy..... way to go fritolay lol

Is the only way to find out if you are 'in the system' to call that number?

I sent mine in at the end of October and am trying to be patient...but don't want to wait expecting they come in and it be too late either.

^ I really think so. Both myself and my girlfriend never recieved anything from either the flocked stumpy giveaway until we called. In the middle of September I called, got the runaround, and then a week later they came. Coincidence, I think not.
For the sidekicks I bought all the chips the week before they were to be released and sent them in the following day to frito lay. That was the beginning of July. They came without a call but very late. I think it's different because you are actually paying them. They cannot lose it. I used a check so I could track it in some fashion, but it took a while even after they cashed it

I have heard of some people getting theirs fine, but I think they forgot about more than they actually got correct. So IMO, calling never hurts, they were very nice

My 1st sidekick (gill grunt) came this past Monday but Frito Cashed both checks the same day (late October).. I'm hoping they didn't put 2 in 1 envelope because only 1 was in there and the envelope didn't seem that secure when it got delivered!.. I'm hoping the 2nd comes soon .. For any of you that got more than 1 did they come separately? How many days apart?

I got 1 Hothead 4 days ago, but my other 2 wins are not here yet.

Still nothing for me. Hopefully soon tho since it seems many are getting him

Yes there was.. Frito Lay just ended a promotion where you could win a hot head.. On the bags of mixed frito lay products there was small card with a code. You went to the game site put your code in and if you won it was a HotHead.. This I think only lasted a month.. It was the Skylanders Giants promotion.

This promotion seemed to be very tiny, or something..I literally never saw these bags go into Target or Walmart. I FINALLY saw a few bags at my Marcs (I..don't know if these are in other states..uh..compare them to Giant Eagle or Krogers I guess)

I REALLY hope that whenever they do the Giants Sidekick promo, they have the bags at a lot of stores. One of my biggest gripes about the Hot Head and the Flocked Stumpy promo is that the bags were impossible to find, or they had them at one store. (and never told us that)

I also hope they don't have like..3 promos running at once like Flocked Stumpy. That was horrible. The Sidekicks promo wasn't too bad, but I feel like they should either extend the timeframe or something to help people out. If stores don't put their stock out, how can people try to get the stuff!?

^ I recently looked at Walmart, and they had a billion Sidekick bags, and the date for the chips and the promo were expired! Seriously, why would you put them out, just for the promo?

Also, just got my Frito Lay Hot Head! His packaging is a little different (Positioned differently), and is painted better.

All 4 of my Hotheads showed up today. The bad news is that not one was a variant. The good news is that I still had my receipts from the 2 that I bought on wave 2 launch day, so I returned them and got $30 back!!

Does anyone know when is the next Frito Lay Promotion?

I missed that promo as well. I've been looking, and only seeing a zillion expired sidekicks bags. I never saw it on the forum either....I need to wake up!! Lol

You could've looked at the site. They said you could mail-in for a code.

For those of you who got more than one at once, did they come in seperate boxes? Did you win them all in the same day? Just curious.

They are most likely in separate boxes.

Sidekicks came in plain bubble envelopes, about medium sized. There's really nothing inside there to protect them besides a flimsy layer of bubble wrap inside the package (which basically is only there as a small cushion)

One of mine actually was open...i guess the glue or whatever didn't seal the package right. Thankfully it was still in there.

The packaging stuff is like made of recyclable material because if you open it this pulpy paper mess gets everywhere.

As for Flocked Stumpy and my random figures, they all came in separate boxes, with a bubble inside there. I'd imagine that's exactly how Hot Head came as well.

Yea hothead has no bubble. He fit perfectly in that box tho.

My Hothead arrived yesterday. Gonna pick up some LEDs and try to light up his hands.

No, I had emailed the parent company running the promotion (it's out of Minnesota- their name was on the return address label I believe, don't remember it now cuz it was a while ago).... back when I got mine this past summer, they only sent me 3 of the 4 figures I ordered. I emailed that company and it took a few days, but I did end up hearing from Frito Lay in the end, and they apologized and sent me the 4th figure I ordered, I was worried it was a duplicate, but had specified in the email the one figure they forgot to send, and luckily it was the 4th figure!! I was kind of annoyed they couldn't do it right the first time, but glad I at least ended up with the 4 figures I wanted!!
