Something was still in the area and it was floating above them. Unlike before it looked pretty angry and it was showing it's display of claws, spikes and tentacles.

"I should Kill you like I've been ordered...Your just going to end up like him and I'm not happy I've neglected the order"

It turned to Starz, she was the scent he had smelled on Aretis which meant...

It's eyes become wide and it's voice become more rough in a alarmed way

"But I can't do it!, your different from the many I had seen slain or killed for my order..Why must you be so different! Why Loved"

It started using it's claws as it hit itself

"It's worse now all worse, why not blow up the world because something just impossible is in my sights!"

Lucien looked back at Ria as the tear fell, "Hmm... I shouldn't intrude." he whispered to himself, he gritted with thought...

Skyer looked up, "The only thing I've heard of a purple dragon was Spyro, back when the world was way different."

Aretis growled at this figure intruding on them. He burst forward, Darkness falling over him for a second and didn't even think twice when the creature was hitting himself. Aretis made big shadow claws sprout over his own and slashed repeatedly at the dark sucker.

He was slashed on his entire torso but it was strange, like splashing water his form turned into a glob and reformed back to normal

"I am not your enemy but so help me I will kill you if I must and take your friends back to my people's council....this changes everything and i'm starting to think it was one of his minor goals all along"

"Leave us alone!" Aretis roared, firing a blast of light magic at the creature.

The light burned him, he screamed in pain only to emerge red and pissed "Light Father and Dark Mother forgive me for I must kill this insane yet innocent soul"

It's claws turned to razor sharp blades while it's tail split into four each with a unpleasant tip at the end, It launched itself right at the dragon with the intention to kill, it's claws ready for a swipe and the tail tentacles preparing to counter

Aretis growled, all his experience telling him to dodge the incoming blow. He was in a bad position and there were too many claws to effectively dodge at close range. Instead he flapped his wings and vaulted himself up into the air. Then he came down spinning, the blade on his tail whirling faster and faster. He bore down the creature's head with his tail blade.

Aretis's tail was pulled away just as it made first contact with Drenyz, taking Aretis with it. When it stopped, Lucien stood holding Aretis's tail with his right paw, "This is nonsense..." he said quietly, "You will only get yourself killed Aretis." he looked over to him, "Do you not think!?" he pulled Aretis down to him, "Look at him." he pointed, "He is not lying, there are millions just like him. Do you have any idea what they could do to everyone?" reaching up and grabbing Aretis's right horn, "Don't pick fights you aren't sure you will win, I know you don't know for sure you will. I know he is not a creature of light, but that is no reason to attack. So you don't head others warnings, you need to, especially mine. Leave him be, I ask for you to check the area, not get yourself killed." releasing his horn, "Now go."

Skyer nodded, "Yeah we can't stop it." he looked up at the dimming sky, "We can just survive it."

Aretis growled, putting distance between him and Lucien before speaking. "You don't understand, Lucien." He snarled. "He would kill me. Just because I'm dark. Like I don't have any right to live." Aretis shot forward, trying to ram into Lucien. "I did check the area! Rock and Stone, are you so thickheaded? Look where we are! We're halfway to my home, above the raging waters. I was on my way back to see my mate!" He snarled angrily. Aretis flew upward. "I refuse to be hunted anymore! I've been hunted my entire life, always hiding, always growing in secret, and always letting those around me DIE." He roared. Something was appearing in front of him. His two claws were about a paw-length apart. One shot light at the other. One shot dark at the other. Both collided in the middle, and a terrible fusion began.

From the attack from it's head it's entire flesh exploded only to reform another head, It wondered why the dragon had not pulled another attack while he was regenerating when he saw another had intervened.

"I offered help and you rejected me!, Don't make me kill you which is being generous as your done attacks that would cripple any other creature"

Upon looking more close it was the carrier of the entity..but the carrier was creature regarded by his culture as gods. it quickly turned to see something new happening, a dragon was using both sources of polar power...a feat only the sub-race could perform.

"Enough, I see now this needs to be talked about in a calm manner, cool your friends maw before you end up incinerating the land bazzah and I will cease my attack and tell you what is going on"

You come to me for help? Oh, this is new. Gray said sarcastically, Better watch your back, this one wants me, and I think he will be just devine as a new body.

You aren't leaving, but if Aretis does this and you take the hit, can't you use it too then? This caught Gray's attention.

Well yes, but what he is doing is the simplest dark/light mix. What do you think I am, I am the only one succeful of combining the two. My name, my color comes from the combination.

Then that means...

Aretis will be just like me, an unstoppable raging killer with endless power. My body aged away, that was the only way to slow me down. I like being unique, I'll stop him for you.

Well don't just sit there.

Lucien's scales flared up into a dirty gold as Gray was given little control. Clearing his throat, "I wouldn't do that Aretis." Gray spoke as his body rose in the air without a single flap of the wing, "What you are trying to do will only kill everyone around you... Except me of course, and I think we have enough Grays running around."

"Hmph.......I have control over it. This is simple enough." He growled at Grey then glanced at Drynez. "If he agrees to stay away from my home, my mate, and from me especially, I'll leave peacefully." He snarled. The mixture between Aretis's paws disappeared, but really as Grey would know, he merely had absorbed it into his body and rendered it invisible. He could still readily bring out the charged up attack anytime.

It floated there for a few seconds, It had noticed something had taken over the dragons mind...the entity but he would have to wait to deal with that issue as he had a insufferable raging trigger about to blast him to high hell along with this entire area.
"I can't stay away from you, It was my job to kill you and then find the entities carrier so I could report back to my council and a exorcism expedition would take place, But it's all changed now!"
It sighed
"I was told those who use the taint and were not trained or my kind became sociopaths, monsters or just mindless beasts. But you are not one yet and worst of all you have done the impossible! You have a mate and can still use light....and now I find out that the carrier of the entity known as gray is a child of the light-father....it just gets better and better"
His sarcasm hit a new high as he looked deep in thought of what was going to happen

Gray turned to Drenyz, "I'm sorry, but did you just ask for me? How wonderful someone else who knows me. Tell me, what is your home like? Is it full of this dark power, or just of fools who think they can control me?" his punch line was that of insult.

"Gray." Lucien's voice returned as his scales cleared. "Please ignore his rude manor. He is quite a socialist, but I must ask: how do you know Gray?"

"We know all that use the power of darkness for we are it's keepers just like our light counterparts, Our home is full of darkness, everything is tainted and we are immune to it because we were created in it by our goddess..we watch over and preserve the balance of light and darkness just as Life and Death balance each other"

He paused at the remark "Control you? Oh that's rich No we eat your form before making way to the bridge of dark and light as we work with the light exchanging threats for extermination since only the other can kill the other, We were first brought to the attention of gray long ago but we dismissed it as a minor scale and thought someone he would meet his end in some way or another then in the end we forgot as all those years we had to fend off our world leaking and threatening to transform a realm of cheetah's into zombies and finally cleaning up the mess of a Wyrnd"

Aretis muttered something murderous under his breath, shaking. His eyes were down. "You were behind it......all along. No, it's not possible." He was shaking. "It can't be true. I know it was an army but....." He kept trailing off. "Nothing more than a trade community.........a safe-haven......and now.....now it's all gone." Aretis blinked. "Ruins. Ghost town. I thought.....I always thought that they were after the Keeper but no......" He looked up, eyes filled with rage.

"Wait, you come from different realms? Doesn't that means the light dragons exist in their own realm as well. That could push the possibility of more light dragons, if Lavismos is in this realm, and its just a city. Aretis, its possible you and Starz aren't the last of the light dragons!" Lucien thought. He turned back to Drenyz, "Gray will not leave my body, I've held bin this long, and I'm not just gpin to hand him over."

"No.....We aren't the last of the light dragons in general. But..........I am the last of my clan. We settled on Levismos far from the other realms for.....safety reasons. One is the secret that you already know about. The one I used to keep locked in my chest-scale. I thought that it was the cause of why my clan died. We were fairly peaceful and rarely got involved with any wars. Our community was one of trade. We had warriors, yes. And we had a barrier to protect and give our island it's invisibility powers. It was merely tradition that once a year the people of our clan would come back to the island and celebrate, if only for a day." Aretis shut his eyes, as if to look away from his memory as he turned his head. "So this is all about balance, huh. Keeping the 'world' in balance. Wind and Fire, I'm not going to believe such nonsense!" He roared angrily, but took no fighting action. Instead, his scales suddenly brightened up as if set on fire. Aretis's scales went back to white and resumed normal color. Then he stayed aloft in the air, looking at Lucien. "Answer me this: Do you know for sure that grey magic will cause me to go insane and deadly?"

"I can only answer with a question: Where do you think Gray got his name? You don't know what you'll be getting into, but Gray does. Grey magic is far too dangerous, Gray is grey magic, he has become what he sought to control." Lucien stepped closer to Aretis, "If you continue to try this, there's no telling what could happen. Death, imortal beast, or destruction of every existing thing. I am begging you to not bring about a second Gray." Lucien put a par over his right eye, "Ah! Stop it. No, I will not allow it."

Aretis blinked. I can succeed where he failed. One part of him said. The other: No. His advice is trustworthy. I should heed it well. Aretis remained aloft in the air, his mind battling within himself. The side of heeding advice was winning over. Plus his background......Aretis blinked. Why would he come up with such a stupid idea anyway?

"Then by my people's law we leave Gray to you as a demigod is more then capable to handle the situation"

He turned to Aretis "Whatever happened to you I had no involvement, In-fact now that you mention it I'm starting to think what my council tells me sometimes are lies..but now we need to focus on my original task...You"

It hovered around like a shark circling it's prey

"You may be a light dragon but you also have the taint and so far I see you have increased aggression from it and predictable effects it would have on anything not my own species, If your people found out they too would try to silence you and you would have light and dark dragons on your tail...there is however a alternative, you could prove you have full utter control of both powers to both fractions but your going to need someone to teach you or I could vouch to keep a watch over you. Of course your friend here could vouch to be a watcher too but I would have to take him to my council as well as the light council"

"I will not leave my world so that I may be judged by a group of dark... whatever you are." Lucien turned to Drenyz, "How can we trust someone within a species that has a history of being a nuisance to the world. This is my species's world, though I may be the last of this aged kind, I am still obligated to protect as my ancestors did before me. I do not wish to fight, but if you insist I will take you somewhere my friends cannot be hurt." Lucien stood without movement.

"Tch. As if you know me. You have no right to say that I am more aggressive, and I have every right to be much more aggressive than I am now. You know nothing about me! I am an alien to this world." Aretis growled, staying completely still except for the occasional flap of his wings. "And.....you can't force me to tell you the path I take. That is for me to decide alone. It's my decision. Whatever the consequences. And don't think you can predict everything, either. If you sent the most powerful dragons in the world against me, you still, would not prevail. I will always find a way to live and protect my friends. You can't throw anything at me that I can't take."

He snarled and pointed a claw at Lucien "Our race is not a nuisance, for centuries we have protected worlds and realms from high level darkness threats and kept darkness in check just as the light dragons have done for light, you act like you light dragons are all so innocent well your not! Are you implying our kind is evil and needs to be destroyed because if that' is the case I'm disgusted of the racism. Light and Dark have not been at war or odds for years now in-fact we our kind recently made a new realm where both light and dark co-exist and is independent of both polar fractions!"

"You want to see an evil light dragon?" Aretis roared angrily. "I'll give you an evil light dragon." His eyes burned with fury. "I'm not a Hero, I'm a Keeper." He flew a little lower, gathering light energy—mostly from the sun—and charging an attack. "This argument is going nowhere. So I say we settle it with blood. I was never a wordy dragon anyway."

Ria gasped and awoke with a start. She could feel the turmoil, the start of imbalance of light and dark. She looked over, seeing Lyra and Fyre fast asleep. She rose silently from the grass and moved swiftly to find Casia.

"Starz, go back to Levismos." Aretis looked at her sharply.

"Just do it!" Aretis growled. "I don't want you to see me if things get ugly....and, I'd rather not see you hurt either."

Ria breathed a small sigh of relief when she found Casia and Skyer just around some trees. She silently nudged her biological sister, awakening her.

The red dragoness yawned and gazed sleepily up at her golden elder. Ria made a "shh" gesture, then nodded for Casia to follow her. Confused, Casia rose quietly and tiptoed after Ria, not wanting to wake Skyer.

"What's going on?" she asked, once they were a good distance away.

"Not too far from here, there's a lot of tension between light and dark dragons." Ria explained in a hushed tone. "Things are going to get really dangerous very quickly. I'm getting you out of here, we're leaving."

"What?!" Casia cried, barely retaining her shock to a whisper. "We can't just leave! These are your friends! From what I've heard, you've been on great adventures with them!"

Ria looked at Casia with a serious look. "You're my sister, Casia. You came all this way just to find me, and now you could be in danger."

Casia glared. "What about Skyer?! He was practically your brother!"

Ria glanced past Casia at the sleeping Skyer. "He's grown up so much, and he's so strong now. I'm sure he can handle himself." she said with a smile.

Casia's eyes grew desperate. "What about Lucien? Surely you aren't just going to walk away from him!"

Ria looked down.

"I thought he loved you!"

Ria gazed up into Casia's eyes, the two pairs mirrors of each other. "I thought so too."

And with that, she opened her wings and took to the sky. Casia gazed sadly after her sister, opening her own wings and following.

His eyes went wide as he saw the attack charging up to him, He went into a position to form an defensive move, darkness moving from his tail tip to claws as he charged a unknown object

"Are you really thick headed? Killing me will not only enrage my council but the light council as well and your going to have both sides wanting your hide..no doubt you will kill whoever they send and chances are they had a family, you will bring misery to them as they lose siblings, fathers and mothers to you should you do....this"

He started to stutter as he said that, a tear was forming on his eye and his body was tensing as if something had just snapped

"Now do you see what you kind have done to everyone else. Sure not all of you are evil just more prone to cause damage." Lucien felt his heart drop for a second and he staggered for a second. Taking a tougher stance, "There will be no blood, if any it will be mine, holding you two off of each other." his eyes turned gold as his claws then turned ivory, "Back off or I'll have you both." he said in his deep golden voice.

Skyer stirred a bit in his sleep, he pushed himself over slowly. When nothing stopped him, he pushed further and faster, where he hit his back against the tree. This pulled him from his dream, "Whay? Ow." he looked over to see Casia had gone, "What, where...?" he looked around with drooped eyes.

"Higher powers have no control over me. I don't care if your so called 'higher councils send ten armies each against me. Their families are not my concern. They made their choice, just as you made yours to interfere with me." He retorted. The air around Aretis began to swirl with flashes of light. His mind pushed back his dark side. Stuck it somewhere away, deep in his heart. He could dig it up later and resume his training. But for now, it is best he focused on the two elements he was born with and know how to use to their best efficiency. Aretis's horns flashed and his eyes turned to a turquoise color. "I respect your selflessness, Lucien, but surely you understand how I feel now. Then again....maybe not." His eyes faded for a second, as if in a trance. Aretis looked at the open sky. A gentle voice that carried a hard message went into his ear. One that always was there and he would always listen to it. Always alone. It said. Aretis blinked himself awake, and extended his wings to their fullest extent, which, each wing was bigger than his own short body. He flew up and blocked the sun with his reach over the two others. "Without light, there can be no shadows. Without shadows, there can be no light."

It retorted back "And see how your kind is a nuisance? always causing misery thinking it's for the better and the good of the world, Some gods you turn out to be if all you do is create pain for other lifeforms"

The form it was charging was finally done, it let it go off and the object expanded into a...Portal? Light and Dark ki could be seen and felt exiting the portal

"My job didn't involve Demigods and nutjobs, I'm..." Just as he said that he was hit on the head by a group of different light and dark dragons emerged from the portal..They circled him and finally restrained him. Like him a female Wyvern slowly made her way to the front, she was golden so she must be a light dragon

"Your Done it now Drenyz, Heir or not your going to be under a house arrest for ignoring telepathic commands from both councils and for trying to deal with the matter yourself...Did you honestly not know the rule?!"

He blinked before growling and sighing...feeling like a moron and embarrassed "No Tamaa I didn't"

She face-palmed herself "By law we would have to bring him in if nothing else was watching him but a demi-god is and by law he is well enough able to keep watch on the dragon"

She floated for a few seconds before turning to the dragons "We are utterly Sorry for this involvement, I hope we can settle this peacefully Demi-God" She said, however most of the dragons and her went wide eyed at the state the light dragon was getting into

Aretis blinked. "Higher authorities, eh?" He didn't change from his position, but merely looked at them closely. "Don't think you can hold me, and don't you dare think you're above me." Aretis growled before shooting away like a comet.

"Excuse him, he tends to loose himself." Lucien said a little jokishly. He cleared his throught once, "Eh, I've heard Demi-god a few times, may I ask who you speak of?" he seemed a little shocked at the arrival of these strange dragons.

Skyer stood up realizing Casia was gone, turning to see he was alone, "No. Not again." he ran over and up to the top of the tower to look around on the ground for everyone.

OOC: Ki = Energy *Different translations of the same thing* And well Stock characters, they ain't going to be in forever

"Oh we mean you, we can all feel the power emitting from you, the same power our elder emits. anyway we must go and deal with this clown ourselves" She gazed back to Drenyz who had now been muffled

They slowly took him into the portal before she too went in and it slowly closed

"Me...?" Lucien said as they vanished, "A demi-god, I'm a Golden God. By my ancestors, I am more god-like than you." he knew they probably couldn't hear him. He turned to see Aretis had left, the sky had dulled to a dark orange turning a very dark blue. He sighed heavily, "Well..." he started walking back toward Skyer, not knowing that they would be the only ones there.

"Is this a trick guys!?" with no response, "Where are you hiding?" Skyer walked in a circle on the tower. He stopped and sat, "I can wait all night." he called out. He then gave up on talking to just sit and wait for a response, Maybe they are out somewhere and will come back later.

Aretis saw Starz in sight and caught up to her. "Starz!" He cried out.

"No fight." Aretis said, reaching over and wrapping his neck around hers. "I.....I dunno anymore. I'm too confused right now. I...I need some time to sort things out with my mind." He admitted.
