Phantom was ready to help Shaydes if it was needed.

"Alright, let's get outta here." Shaydes entered through the shadow portal. She figured she could trust Phantom enough to do so.

Phantom entered the portal afterwards. It exited just outside the Tower.

"Oh look," Elsie said with a sigh, as they saw the newcomers exit the portal, "This party just keeps getting bigger."

[Isis, are you referring to Phantom and Shaydes?]

OOC: She is.

OOC: Yes I am.

[Okay, just thought I should check.]

Shaydes, remembering to don her sunglasses, noted the new arrivals and greeted them with some enthusiasm. "Well, hello! Who might all of you be?"

"Nick Tatopolous," Nick answered calmly, then pointed to his growling guardian, "...Godzilla."

"Elsie Chapman!" Elsie said with a wave, "You guys look like you know what you're doing."

Nick and Elsie turned to Dust and Fidget, staring at them in confusion. Dust and Fidget stared back.

"...Call me Dust," Dust finally said, then he held up his sword, "Ahrah is my guide."

"And I'm Fidget!" Fidget shouted enthusiastically.

"Lord Phantom here," Phantom said.

"Kate Finale, at your service, but please, call me Shaydes."

[Yeah, I changed her last name.]

"Pleasure to meet you," Elsie replied, then she looked around the forest.

"Can anyone tell us what's going on?" Nick asked.

"Well," Phantom started, "this tower was attacking the environment here, for starters."

OOC: Skyhunter, you can have Technus appear at any time now.

[I'll do it tomorrow, since it's past midnight here. See you then!]

OOC: Alright, got it.

Elsewhere, in a flash of electricity, Technus returned to life, screaming in pain as several thousand volts surged through his body. "That lousy Treetop... when I get my claws on him..." he grumbled, panting, seething with rage, ready to tear down through the halls of the factory to murder the squid, when a message appeared to him on his cerebral computer. With an irritated sigh, he answered barking into the microphone. "What?"

"Boss, we won! The Tower is ours! But some more guys just showed up outta nowhere, and they gots freakin' Godzilla with 'em! We need backup, stat!"

That snipit of information alone was enough to put Technus in a much better mood, although he still held a bit of anger with him. "Hold them off as long as you can. I'll be over in just a moment. Eyebot!" He summoned his main surveillance robot. "Keep a watch on Treetop and that Sweetie Bot. If they make any effort to escape, initiate immediate lockdown."
"Can do, sir."
"And Foxtron, come along with me; your abilities could prove very helpful.
"Gladly."

After a minute, Technus arrived at the unfolding scene outside of the Tower piloting a giant mech. "Attention to all newcomers, surrender yourselves to me or face assured annihilation."

[Here's the image I'm using for Technus's mech. Imagine it being more silver and having a lot more weapons, and that's it.]

Phantom's weapon immediately materialized in his hand again.

"Not happening, buddy."

OOC: Velkir's gonna appear in the next few posts. Also Phantom's weapon is named Aurora Cascade, if I didn't mention that before.
OOC: Oh, and the Tower... It has a surprise waiting... heh, heh, heh...

"Can we take a third option?" Fidget immediately asked, "I don't like these choices."

"Agreed," Dust said to her.

"Why should we surrender?" Nick questioned, as Godzilla carefully stepped in front of him and Elsie, "Do you even know who you're dealing with?"

"Yeah, we got a giant reptile that breathes atomic fire, and..." Elsie looked at Dust and Fidget, "...These guys do whatever it is they do!"

"While I do not suggest we surrender, trying to make this 'newcomer' angry seems...unwise," Ahrah spoke up, as Dust pointed him at Technus.

Suddenly the ground began to shake. The tremors seemed to come from the Tower.

OOC: Wasn't sure if you were going to post. You can consider this as coming after Technus' response.

"I am afraid I can offer you no third option. I cannot afford to take chances, you see." This was all Technus had to say on the matter.

The Tower started to shift and transform all of a sudden... transforming into something that wasn't a tower. An overwhelming feeling of malice began to radiate from it.

Then a voice spoke.



It was neither Metalliform's voice nor the Tower's voice.

It was the voice of Velkir.

"G-Guys, there's a creepy voice speaking to us!" Fidget cried, pointing at the tower as it transformed. Dust turned his attention from Technus to look at it, going silent at the sight of the thing.

Nick and Elsie both said something as they pulled laser guns from their backpacks, but their words were obscured by Godzilla's roar.

Another? Technus mused at the sight of Velkir. He estimated that his chances of victory against such a gargantuan machine alone were little to none, so he took another measure. "I have decided to give you all a third option. Assist me in the destruction of this rouge automaton and I shall leave you all unmolested, regardless of whether or not you submit to me. A deal like this comes around only once in a lifetime, so act fast!" His announcement made him sound more like a fast-talking salesman than a ruthless dictator.

[Don't expect Technus to follow up on his deal entirely. And I'll get Foxtail, Blister and Shaydes respsonses later.]

"...For now," Phantom responded. "But don't think that I trust you for one minute."

As the Tower lifted itself out of the ground, it began to take on a serpentine form. Then it formed a head, tail, and a pair of arms and legs equipped with deadly claws.

Then, Velkir opened his four red eyes and looked down on everyone below.



OOC: Yes, I decided to change Velkir's fins into claws instead. And gave him four eyes.
OOC: Oh, and he starts in his second form. Ya know, the form he was last in when we stopped BYAII. Also I do wonder what Technus thinks of losing the opportunity to take the Tower.

*snore*

"Yeah, sure, sounds good," Elsie said to Technus, sounding unconvinced.

"What reason do we have to think you'll keep your word?" Nick asked calmly.

Godzilla ignored Technus in favour of roaring at Velkir.

"...Are there any fourth options?" Fidget asked, staring at Velkir.

"Doubt it," Dust replied.

"Excellent. Your cooperation is much appreciated."

Meanwhile, Shaydes met up with Blister and Foxtail as Velkir made his grand arrival. "So, this is Velkir. Impressive, I will admit."

"Indeed, he is no pushover" Blister commented. "He seems smaller than I remember."

"And that means it'll be that much easier to kick his shiny metal ass!" Foxtail chimed in, clearly fired up for the fight.

"Don't be naive, Foxtail. Surely you remember how destructive he is?" Blister said with authority.

"Well yeah, but did'ja forget I already beat this guy once? And that was before I could control my powers!" Foxtail spoke up to his mentor. "So this is gonna be a piece of cake!"

The blaze gave a deep sigh. "I guess you'll have to learn the hard way."

One of Velkir's eyes looked towards Shaydes, Blister and Foxtail; it seemed he was already aware of their presence.



With that, Velkir prepared to attack. The nine orbs that were his only weak points appeared. The orbs were all red, indicating the element of fire.

OOC: Velkir's eyes can all look in separate directions at once.

Technus brought out a large machine gun and opened fire, while simultaneously charging a laser cannon.

Godzilla let out yet another roar and charged towards Velkir, firing an atomic beam at his face. Nick and Elsie were going to fire their guns, but thought better of it, instead looking at Velkir for any possible weaknesses.

"I sense great evil within this being," Ahrah said, voice still calm, "Be careful, Dust!"

"Understood..." Dust replied, preparing to attack, "Fidget, fire some of you projectiles. I've got an idea."

"I don't want to tick him off!" Fidget cried, "That sounds like a horrible idea!"

"He's already mad. Don't see how we could make this any worse."

"Fine, fine..."

Fidget fired her standard projectiles, little orbs of light, and Dust spun Ahrah in a Dust Storm, creating more projectiles and sending them flying into Velkir.

Some of the orbs were hit by the projectiles from the Dust Storm and Technus' gunfire, while Godzilla's atomic beam hit Velkir on the nose, doing absolutely nothing. Phantom added a bunch of shadow bolts, some hitting the orb on Velkir's tail.

Velkir's eyes all began to glow, indicating an imminent attack.

OOC: Also, using this theme.

"Get a load of this!" Technus fired a supercharged laser at Velkir, not aiming anywhere in particular.

Shaydes looked down at Foxtail. "Should we intervene?"
"Nah, not yet, I wanna see how this turns out!" The fox just sat back to watch his two enemies duke it out.

The laser hit the orb on Velkir's tail, though the impact did not appear to bother him. Velkir then unleashed four flaming eye lasers. One was aimed at Technus, one at Godzilla, and a third at Dust. The last one was aimed at Phantom, but he teleported out of the way.

OOC: Do note, these are the beams with a "death zone". Which means, anything in this area around them immediately gets set on fire. They're also continuous beams, so they'll travel for a little ways before they stop firing.

OOC: Also I find it funny that you posted just as I clicked on the topic, lol.

Technus took the blast, losing his laser cannon in the process, but raised a force shield to prevent prolonged exposure, though he would be incapacitated for a bit after lowering it.

The beam hit Godzilla's back as he tried to dodge it. He roared in pain and quickly dug a tunnel to escape the beam, disappearing from sight. Nick and Elsie ran as far away from the beam and the flames it created as possible.

Dust ceased spinning Ahrah and grabbed Fidget, jumping out of the way of the beam. Both Dust and Fidget stared at the destruction the beam was causing, wide-eyed.

"We need to aim for those orbs," Nick said, firing his weak laser gun at an orb on Velkir's head. Elsie nodded and fired hers at the same orb.

Godzilla resurfaced near Nick and Elsie, watching them. Leaning his head to the side curiously, he saw what they were aiming for, and then aimed an atomic beam at an orb.

The laser guns and the second atomic beam hit their target. The eye beams soon ceased, and one of Velkir's eyes looked towards Nick and Elsie.

OOC: I've made a decision: Velkir is big enough here to hold Godzilla in one hand.

"...I don't like the look he's giving us," Elsie commented, as her gun was unable to fire due to needing to cool down, "Got any ideas?"

"Of our various options, I'd recommend running," Nick replied, beginning to back away slowly.

Godzilla ceased firing his atomic beam and charged towards Velkir, jumping at one of his hands, preparing to bite and claw at the orb.

Dust let go of Fidget and stood up. He sighed in exasperation, and then charged towards Velkir, Fidget flying after him.

Phantom sent a shadowy mist at one place where the beams hit, which extinguished the flames there.

Velkir responded by attempting to grab Godzilla.

OOC: Should maybe note that Velkir is able to fly despite not appearing to have wings or anything else that would let him fly.

Technus launched some homing missiles towards another orb.

[And I've decided Technus's mech is about half Godzilla's size. Still remarkably nimble though.]

Even while attempting to grab Godzilla, Velkir punched the missiles with his other hand.

Godzilla jumped off of him to escape his grasp, nearly landing on Nick and Elsie.

"Watch it!" Elsie yelled, prompting Godzilla to give her and Nick a guilty look. Godzilla then turned his attention back to Velkir and tried to attack his hand again.

Dust attempted to climb on Velkir's body, mentally praying that his size would give him some kind of advantage. Fidget mumbled 'You're crazy' under her breath.

A fireball formed from the orb on one of Velkir's hands, and he threw it at Godzilla.

Technus unloaded another round of bullets on Velkir.

Some of the orbs were hit by Technus' gunfire. Phantom also hit the orb on Velkir's tail with laser fire.

Godzilla let go of Velkir's hand and dug a tunnel to escape the fireball. Nick and Elsie's guns had cooled down, and they immediately fired upon one of Velkir's orbs. Godzilla resurfaced and fired an atomic beam at the same orb.

Dust continued climbing on Velkir's body, using Ahrah to hook into the behemoth's metal skin. He stopped to look at the others for a moment, then resumed. Fidget hovered near him.

OOC: Gonna assume they were firing at the same orb they were hitting before.

After those last shots, that particular orb was now cracked. Velkir began to glare at Godzilla, Nick and Elsie in response to their attacks.

"Hey, you two!" Phantom called to Nick and Elsie. "Catch!" He tossed a pair of Amethyst Crown laser rifles in their direction.

"Oh boy, he doesn't look happy," Elsie commented, staring at Velkir. Nick was about to respond when he and Elsie heard Phantom, turning to look just in time to catch the laser rifles.

"Thanks?" Nick called out, putting his own laser gun away, Elsie doing the same.

Godzilla simply glared back at Velkir.

Dust was getting closer to Velkir's head.

Velkir raised a hand and fired five narrow beams from the tips of his claws in the direction of Nick and Elsie.

OOC: These don't have the death zone, but they do have a lot of slicing power.
We gonna get any responses soon?

Daring to get into close quarters with Velkir, Technus attacked head-on with a huge sawblade.

Velkir responded by attempting to punch Technus.

Nick and Elsie ran out of the way, avoiding the beams. Godzilla looked at them, then back to Velkir, roaring and charging towards him all over again.

"There's something on your orb here!" Dust cried upon finally reaching Velkir's head. He then whacked the orb repeatedly with Ahrah.

"It was pain!" Fidget yelled, charging a ball of electricity, which Dust caught in a Dust Storm, targeting the orb with a sustained electric current.
