ooc: I honestly didn't even know we were fighting. o_o.........

Aretis heard the voice. "Huh? Who's there? Show yourself!" He called out. "This here area is dangerous to be near a small village. I suggest you clean it up. Quickly now." He called out, ready for a fight if there need be one.

It slowly showed itself by grabbing a ledge of the watery based pool, it was no doubt the same creature from before but it looked different, it had grown wings and spikes were now alined from it's head to tail tip.

"I doubt anyone would be stupid enough to walk into this area"

It relaxed against the edges

"Besides the only danger around here would be a certain taint that is smothered on you and that other dragon, I have to give you respect for resisting it for so long but alas only a matter of time"

"Oh...it's you. What do you want? Change this place back to normal." He growled, unfurling his wings. Aretis gave him a toothy grin.

"What do I want? Nothing it is you who has stumbled into my new home, as for changing it back I'll pass"

By now he wasn't even looking at him

"It will be funny when that darkness overtakes you through kinda like the last dragon who tried to use it, What was his name again..oh Yes I recall his name now.... Wynd"

Dark Aretis growled. Wynd.... He could feel the pressure inside of him now. But now, he was being assaulted not only on the inside, but on the outside as well. Aretis fought back the urge. "Leave this place. The Shadow Realms has plenty of darkness for you to mine there. Why are you.....spreading the darkness here?" He called out, guessing his intentions.

It slowly turned back around, it could feel this dragon bubbling unfathomable amounts of power for even a dragon.

"The real reason I'm here? Is to bait you and your little friends, Your a danger to everything every second and it is my species pure drive to contain and devour darkness by any means. Without anyone to teach you or to stay the course you will succumb to the taint"

It Jumped out before walking towards him

"You have the following choices, A would be to find a way to resist it, B would be I help you or C...you and the other die"

Aretis contemplated the choices for a second. "Mm..no. Neither is my answer." He growled. "For too long, light and darkness have always been against each other. As opposites. Good and Evil. Light and Dark. But Light can be used for evil, as Dark can be used for good. I will bridge this gap."

Skyer raised his head back up, "Well... What is it like where you came from?"

Lucien's nose twitched, and raised his head, Sounds like someone is calling you out... He wants me. He knows how powerful I am, and for his kind, I'm the toughest meal to catch. I am also the most useful, though they wouldn't like my aftertaste. he allowed Gray to speak.

Well it is none of my concern. Locking onto Aretis is my main priority. He must not be hurt under my proposal to search the dark grounds. Lucien replied, Plus, no one will every take you away from my, we will both die before I let you go.

It sneered

"Your half correct but reckless. There is no good and evil only morality and the paths we take, darkness at it's core is primal instincts, In one case it would follow the outcome...say a pack of wolves threaten a drakes mate and unborn child...normally he would make a warning to the wolves and no doubt they would never dare set foot near the mate..but if a leak of darkness has entered his body beforehand...his balance would of been uplifted and the wolves will be slaughtered without second thought."

The surroundings slowly turned to normal, plants returned back to green and the tar went back to water all the while the darkness was being sucked into his maw.

"You seem to have little utter full control of it and seem different from the other outsiders who use it, but maybe you resist it because of a pure heart or your grandparents might of been one of my species carried through the bloodlines, regardless I am here to offer help...otherwise I will do what must be done and Kill your friend for he has something in him that should not be there..."

Aretis tilted his head slightly, as the darkness went away. He didn't show it outwardly, but inside he was breathing a sigh of relief, gaining control of that urge to increase his darkness output. Dark Aretis growled. "I don't resist it. I'm here to integrate it. Grey magic has been forgotten. And if I master this, it is a way of testing myself that I am truly, a Keeper." He hissed.

It just sighed

"A Keeper does not battle his inner demons, even I can see you were having a tough time..if you had someone to teach you the ways then maybe you could resist it and use it fully before it's too late"

He alined his claws to his face

"I'm the only friendly face of my species you will ever see, even now I can tell sooner or later the scent will make it's way to my realm and then you will have clans to lone wolfs to scavengers making a effort of quatrain and feeding, under our law you would be spared but stripped and drained of any trace of power while your friend would be killed...but if you were to indeed master it then our law and council states you would be reviewed on outcome, by becoming a guardian of this realm"

"I've always taught myself. I've looked at the forgotten relics of my ancestors. I can overcome this. Without any help. I won't let anyone else interfere. I don't need to be a guardian of this realm. Being a Keeper is already challenging enough. I'm no hero. I know that. My life is destined to be without contact of anything else. Tch, we shall see. There are ways of hiding. I've hidden all through my childhood. When I was being chased constantly by dragons who plundered and killed those in their was just to get to me. I survived, as you can see. I'll survive this. Long enough that I can master grey magic."

"Your no different to him when he first started...he was just like you in some aspects with the same goals and idea's but along the path he turned into what you know him as now"

It slowly flapped it's wings

"You say you have no contact but your scent reeks of an female that I can only guess to be your friend or mate...She will be hunted and judged by the others too"

As it slowly began to take to the skies

"I go now to end this dark entity that dwells inside a dragon, good luck not turning into a villain because what you said to me? It's just how Wynd become who he was"

Casia smiled. "It's beautiful. Castles for as far as the eyes can see, a huge gathering for a fancy supper almost every night at a different place! My mother would take me for a fly every night, just to look down at the twinkling city lights..."

Dark Aretis closed his eyes as he left. Doubts plagued his mind. Maybe he was right. Maybe....this was something even he could not do. And Starz......oh, how could he forget her. He thought he could do this. But Aretis forgot it would affect her too. But how would it? We live on a secluded island protected by an ancient force, far, far away from the realms...

Aretis looked up. And there she is now.... He grimly smiled then flew up to meet her, turning that grin into a full smile. "Hiya. Sorry, I got a little sidetracked along the way."

"Mm....well...I....." His eyes looked left, not meeting her gaze. "Went to visit Lucien!" He said. "Toooo.....tell him about the party!" He said. It wasn't really lying, but it was avoiding the ugly stuff.

"Uh....sure!" He smiled happily. Aretis put on an extra burst of speed and flew high, heading towards Levismos. "I'll race ya!" Dark Aretis called out.

"Hahaha! We'll see!" He said, putting on more of a boost of speed, almost catching up to her, but still a little behind.

He sniffed the air trying to get a scent and track the dragon with the dark entity inside it's body and soul. This wasn't the first time he had done this, hunting demons acting like parasites to outsiders but he had back-up or it was a all out feeding frenzy with others of his own race but he would get none of that for this, this task was for him by his species council of wise elders and he had strict instructions that anyone else trying to get a grab should be struck down without a second to spare

He had finally got a weak scent but it was enough to work with and so went off to track

"Just you wait!" Aretis grinned, but as he dived up into the clouds, he lost track of her and was now wandering about, a bit directional wise, lost.

"Hey!" Aretis jerked in surprise at being tackled. He spun in the air with her for a bit from the force of the tackle. Aretis laughed.

Dark Aretis smiled and then kissed back, wrapping his forearms around her in a tight hug.

Skyer smiled, "Sounds great, but I'm not a crowd type. I'd probably die of fear... Wait, what time are you from again?"

Lucien placed his head back down, this time to where his left eye was able to see Ria, Maybe I'm just not the relationship type... Like, I'm only meant to protect the people as a Golden God. My feeling of love for everyone seems about the same. he sighed looking at Ria with his eye, What does she see in me? All I've shown her is a monster... But... I'm not, I am a guardian to all of those who do not deserve mistreatment or death. I don't know what to think of us... I can't assume she said she loves me to stay alive, and continues as to not hurt me... I don't want anyone to get hurt... I guess only physically, I can't stop emotional pain. I'd throw my life away to save one soul, I can't just give up and protect everyone. I was drawn to her for a reason, and until I find out why, I will not speak of my thoughts... he turned his head away with a moist eye, I cannot bare the thought of letting her go.

"Well, I'm not certain of an approximate year..." Casia murmured. "I could be wrong, but I heard you have a purple dragon here? A few decades before my birth, there were clans and clans of purple dragons! They were mostly kings and queens of the land, before they were all killed off."

Ria stirred a bit in her deep sleep, mumbling something as a small tear rolled down her scaled cheek.

The cow mooed. Rainbow Moth flutteted by, sprinkling sprinkles everywhere.

Aretis smiled. "Thank you." He said softly.

"I'm sorry....I've been keeping some secrets from you..." He looked away. Dark Aretis then reached over and touched his neck to hers. "Would you like to know why I decided not to banish the darkness in me?"

".....I.....I would like to learn Grey Magic." He said. "I would like to have light and dark coexist with each other and be used for good." Aretis blinked. "Because this darkness has helped me see my inner dark side. And I can communicate with both of them. I want to use their power for good and show everyone that light and dark don't have to be opposites."

"Well.....no. I still would." He suddenly exhaled and his scales turned normal colored. That shining ivory white glistened in the sun. "I would be both. A light dragon and a dark dragon." Aretis blinked. "I'm sorry, I kept this from you. But usually, I would turn back to this at night when you were asleep. Being....constantly dark is taxing."

"No. It's real." He said. His scales darkened and a burst of darkness that turned the air around him dark exploded from his body. Aretis grunted, silent for two minutes, not moving, not even blinking. Then he relaxed, as Dark Aretis. "Yes. I lied to all of you when I said I would get rid of it and I couldn't. I could get rid of it whenever I wanted." "But I'm real. I am....Dark."
