'No point.' Gabb replied, shutting her eye showing a noticable scar from one eyelid down to end of her cheek.

"all right then. points to me for trying? no? well, i guess i can award myself later by catching some shrimp."

Fire flew off. Gabb looked to Marina after seeing.
'You want the truth?'

Marina hesistated a moment.
"yes, i do. the problem is trusting who will give me the actual truth."

'Look, you may know Fireflight more, so tell me this, would you ever expect her to have an attitude like this?'

Marina thought for a moment. she hadn't known Fireflight for too long, but in the time that she knew her, she didn't seem like the type to have an attitude like that. she wouldn't expect it, but she didn't know her well enough to know if that was true or not. she then looked at Gabb.
"no. i wouldn't expect that from her." she said.

'She's tricking yo....' She was cut off when a small teenage dragoness crashed landed near them. Gabb looked and walked over. The teen stood up and shok he head and then paw.
'Are you ok?'

Marina looked at the dragoness.
"did you break anything?" she asked, concerned.

'No, i don't think so..' Gabb looked to the face of the black dragoness.
'You kinda seem familiar...' The dragoness looked to her.
'I haven't seen you before..' She replied. 'I have to get ggoing..' She said, getting ready to walk off. 'Maybe you've heard my name.'

Marina looked at her face.
"well, you don't look familiar to me. what's your name?" she asked.

'Kiara.' Gabbb looked to her quickly before she walked off.

"that's a pretty name. i'm Marina. can i help you with anything?"

'No, i have to get going..' She said before running off. Gabb watched her with a slightly sad look on her, reaching out when she left.

"well, bye..." Marina said, watching her.

OOC: Lol, i was pissing about with Gary_oak and he got banend shortly after

'Can you... just give ame soem time alone..' Gabb said, walking off sadly

"wha--are you ok?" Marina asked, concerned.

She walked off to a small cave in a cliff

"all right then, nice talking to you....." Marina muttered to herself. she then started walking towards the beach.

Someone cried not too far away from Marina.

Marina heard the cry, and looked around. she then began to follow the cry.

It was coming from the place Gabb had gone by.

Marina continued to follow the crying.
"hello?" she called.

Gabb was the one who looked to be the source. She breifly looked to Marina.
'Just leave me...' She said crying

"but something is telling me to stay.......what's wrong...?" she asked, sounding concerned.

'.....nothing...' She said, wiping some tears away.

"right. so you just decided to hide in this cave and cry for no reason?"

'You wouldn't know or care!' She turned and proclaimed.

"your right, i don't know. but that's because you haven't told me anything. and i apparently care at least a little since i came in here, and asked what was wrong. so sorry for actually trying to be nice to you. if you want to sit in here by yourself and cry, then go ahead." she said. she then turned to leave.

'Good....maybe it's best no one knows...' She cried, turning back around.

Marina glanced back.
"fine. if that's what you want. i'll just leave you to sulk in the corner and cry. it's not like i planned on trying to make you feel better for anything."

Gabb was quiet, still crying but said nothing.

Marina walked towards the exit. she then stopped. she glanced back with a sadened expression. then Marina sighed.
"she doesn't want me here.........so why stay and try to help......?" she thought. she then quietly stepped out of the cave.

Gabb didn't notice, just wallowing in her sadness.

Marina walked to the beach like she had planned. she then started pacing in the sand. she wondered why Gabb was so upset.
"something wrong?" a male voice asked. Marina turned around.
"oh, hey, Merrick." she said, sounding a bit upset herself.
"are you ok?" he asked, concerned.
"i'm fine..." she muttered, looking away.
"you don't sound fine."
"well, i am. but someone i know isn't." she glanced at him.
"ah, i see. seeing someone upset always did bother you. even if you didn't like them. so, who is it?" he asked.
".........Gabb........" she muttered.
"oh... wasn't really expecting that... what happened?"
"i don't know......some blackdragoness crash landed while we were talking.....she said she was in a hurry, and ran off shortly after we got her name........Gabb seemed upset for soem reason.......then she wandered into a cave, and i found her crying......i tried to get her to tell me what was wrong, but she just wanted me gone......" she said. she then plopped down on the sand.
"well, i can go see what's up."
"what makes you think she'll talk to you?"
"i don't know. but it never hurts to try." he said. he then wandered off.

She hadn't calmed down much since MArina left.

Merrick walked towards the cliff. Marina rested on the soft sand.

Gab still cried.

Merrick followed the sound of her crying. it led him to the cave. he stood at the entrance, and tapped his claw on the the rocks.
"can i come in?" he asked, softly.

'why can no oone just leave me alobe....'

"well, people generally like to know what's up when they notice someone's crying. i know you're not really in a talking mood or whatever, but did you ever think that people ask what's wrong because they care? i mean, did you even think for a second that someone might just want to make you feel better? i mean, if i see someone crying, i want to help them. that's the truth. and something must be up for you feel this bad."

'...I ...i can't explain...'

"well, you could at least try. i got all the time in the world." he said, sitting down.

'No... you don't understand..'

"then explain it to me." he said, pateintly.

'I can't...' She cried. 'If he remembers...' She thern went quiet while thinking of somethingg.

"why not? what if who remembers what?" Merrick asked, confused.

'I just can't say..' She cried

"can i at least get a reason? or something?"

'...Because... last time he knew... he almost tried to kill me...'

"......oh....." Merrick muttered. he didn't know who she was talking about, but that was a good enough reason. "...i'm sorry........but maybe he doesn't remember.......i mean, i don't even know who he is, but it might have forgotten.....or something.......look.....maybe i can help....." he offered.
