In the middle of this next room was the spherical reactor hovering in the air.

"What. The. Nether. Is. That?" Shaydes whispered.

"It's the reactor," Phantom said. "We need to destroy it."

"Well," Shaydes began. "I could go ballistic on it, but I get the feeling that a reckless move like that would be unwise..."

"I'm not sure we have many options other than simply attacking it," Phantom responded.

"Might as well get to it then" Shaydes replied, stretching herself, just before lunging at the reactor, pounding away at it.

But then suddenly an Abyssal Dragon phased through the wall and snatched the reactor.

Another one? *sigh*... fine, I'll play your games, you rogue.

Quick as a flash, Shaydes held her rifle at the ready, and took a shot at the Abyssal Dragon's eye.

The shot hit, enraging the Dragon and causing it to spit dark flames at Shaydes.

Phantom converted his weapon into a laser sniper rifle and took aim.

Not wanting to get barbecued again, she teleported behind the dragon and swung away with her sword.

While Shaydes hit it with her sword, Phantom shot it in the eye. The Dragon attempted to swat at Shaydes with its tail.

Shaydes rolled under the dragon's tail and followed with a quick stab in the flank

The dragon attempted to attack Shaydes with a lightning bolt next.

OOC: So, you gonna have Technus show up after the Tower's reactor is destroyed or something?

OOC: Sure, I'll do something like that.

Shaydes took the lightning strike and was paralyzed for a moment.

Phantom shot the dragon again, distracting it from Shaydes. He then teleported out of the way of its counterattack, a tail strike.

Recovering, Shaydes took the action of attempting to leap on top of the dragon.

Distracted by Phantom, the dragon didn't see what Shaydes was trying to do.

Shaydes clambered onto the dragon's back and began slashing away at where its wings were attached to its body.

The dragon attempted to throw her off.

She might have lost her balance, but she had a grip of iron. Hanging from one hand, she continued with her relentless lacerating.

The dragon tried to attack her with its tail.

She took the blow and was knocked to the ground. Another shot from her rifle, this one aimed at the throat of the dragon.

The shot angered the dragon, and it attempted to bite Shaydes.

She dodged to the side and counter-attacked with a quick jab to the face.

Phantom also shot it in the side, further enraging the dragon.

She teleported to the dragon's side, this time taking a few swipes at its legs.

The dragon swiped at her with its claws.

OOC: Any idea how long this fight should go on?

OOC: Not too much longer, preferably. Ten more posts, maybe?

Shaydes jumped back from the dragon's claws, going on the defensive for a bit.

The dragon attempted to spit more flames at her.

OOC: Sure. I'll end it around post #1640 (minus pure OOC posts) I guess then. (Velkir's gonna be appearing soon anyway, that will likely take longer than this)

OOC: So, when this particular fight is over, may I join? And if so, is there a character limit?

OOC: Isis is my friend. I vote we let her join.

OOC: She can join. And no, there's no character limit.

Shaydes once again teleported out of the way, and responded with another rifle shot to the eye.

The dragon began shooting spheres of electricity at her.

She blocked these spheres with her sword, even deflecting a few back at the beast.

Another shot from Phantom knocked the dragon off balance for a moment.

Shaydes took a risky move, rolling under the dragon.

The dragon attempted to stomp on her.

She was too quick; dodging left and right, she looked for a window of opportunity to take a stab at the dragon's heart.

Phantom hit it in the side of the head, further disorienting it.

She took her chance and jabbed right at the dragon's heart.

It froze for a moment. Then it vanished with the screech typical of an Abyssal Machine, with the reactor falling to the floor.

With the beast slain, Shaydes did her work on the reactor, dealing heavy blows almost guaranteed to destroy it.

Phantom added his own attacks to the reactor. Soon enough it exploded.

She was barely even scathed by the blast. "So, I take it we only have so long to get out of here before this whole place collapses on top of us?" she asked as if the battle beforehand never even happened.

"Whether that is the case or not, I have a fast way of getting out," Phantom responded.

Meanwhile, outside, the Tower powered down.

Nick and Elsie have some random laser guns so as to make them somewhat helpful. The guns tend to overheat though.

I think that's everyone.

Phantom used his magic to open a shadowy portal.

I suppose I should do something about the others...

Gathering all of the ender magic she could muster, she cast a powerful teleportation spell, enough to remove the stragglers from the Tower and deposit them a safe distance from it. Fluttershy, Pit, Link, Gallade, Wolverine, and anyone else still there could rest easy knowing that Shaydes had their backs.

This also left Shaydes magically exhausted, so she would have to rely on Phantom to escape.

"That took a lot out of you," Phantom said. "My portal will let us get out easily, though."

Outside the tower, a portal opened above the forest, and out of it came a giant lizard who then crashed into a decent chunk of the forest, flattening trees. The lizard groaned and raised his head, only for two humans to crash onto him, and the portal immediately closed.

"...Oookay, that was fun, let's not do it again!" Elsie said, holding her head as she walked off of Godzilla. She looked around the forest, seeing paths of ashes amongst the still intact trees, and a large tower.

"...Where are we?" Nick spoke up, as he got off Godzilla and walked closer to Elsie.

"Beats me."

Godzilla stood up and glared at the tower, then a portal opened near them.

"WHO INVENTED THESE STUPID THIIIIIINGS!!!" a shrill feminine voice shrieked, as a fox creature and a bat creature (the latter being the source of the scream) fell out of the new portal and onto the ground, followed by a sword which landed just in front of the fox.

"Argh, my head..." Dust groaned, as Fidget started hovering near him. He stood up and grabbed Ahrah from the ground, then he noticed the other three.

Okay, he noticed Godzilla first.

"W-what-" was all Dust could manage before Godzilla roared and Nick started yelling.

"Back away Godzilla!" Nick yelled, and the Kaiju obeyed with a disappointed growl, "...He won't hurt you... Probably."

Elsie looked at them and gave a weak smile.

"Hey, we got more people to join the party!" she remarked dryly.

They turned to look at the tower again.
