The group of larks ran after Takeshi. They knew what he was up to and prepared to attack. One lark stayed behind, staring at Ratchet with a creepy sinister grin.
When the lombax locked eyes with the lark, he practically froze.
Clank noticed this and waved his hand in front of Ratchet's face. No response.
"Ratchet?" He said worriedly.
The lark remained still as well, and Clank knew something was up. He grabbed the negotiator Ratchet dropped and blasted it. It flinched back and roared before running at the robot. Before it could reach him, Ratchet whacked it on the side of its head, causing it to collapse.

The Uchiha was knocked out of mid air. His prey got away as he was swarmed by the other larks. It became obvious why his strikes where slower when the blood on his right arm became more apparent. He must have gotten cut during the battle. Limbs would occasionally go flying when he would make a successful cut, but it did very little.

As the fight continued it was apparent the only thing he was getting was more injuries. It began to look grim so he did something stupid. Quickly weaving signs lightning began to swell around him pushing against the larks slowing them down for a moment. He then dropped a smoke bomb and was gone.

He appeared next to Ruby and quickly dropped to the ground losing grip of his sword he grabbed his left hand. It felt like a thousand bees was stinging his arm. He couldn't use his left arm like this, his hand was cramped up and there was a severe pain. Perhaps it was due to the use of the chidori stream. He generally channeled the chakra through his left hand. It was safe to say he was healed up enough for that.

The group of larks dumbly looked around for Takeshi, however, the leader of the group stepped in and prevented them from attacking.
'We must leave. Senkrad wants us to transport some materials from this dimension back to the Dark Abyss,' he said.
And with that, they left... Except for the lark who was still with the group.

Xsavior was surrounded by lots of larks he couldn't fight off. So he did something that might kill him. He concentrated and a huge ball of light formed around him. He let the light go, killing almost all the larks in the area.

Eva-01 found some larks in the forest and killed them on sight.

"Takeshi! You okay? Ratchet! The darn larks keep leaving! We gotta stop them!"

"I'm on the front lines," Ryu growled. "It's time those larks learned a lesson in lightning." Sparks erupted between her horns for a second, and disappeared. "Nice! My charge is back up!" She was ready for just about anything with the power of lightning on her side. A new brightness lit up her face.

"I'm fine" Takeshi shouted through clenched teeth. He had cuts along his right arm and back. Most likely due to the fact that he was right handed and thus stuck that part of his body out more when going for stabs or cuts, which means that they where getting him with counter strikes.

Ruby grabbed his left arm and her hand began to glow green as she applied healing chakra. "I told you not to use any of those techniques" she said "You can only use the simple stuff for now, your chakra network won't take that kind of pressure yet. The chakra network around your left arm bursted, this caused swelling in the muscles along the hand and forearm. Which is why you can't move it."

"I can't fight like this" Takeshi said irritably reaching up to remove the bandages around his eyes. Ruby stopped him grabbing his arm with her free hand "Stop" she orderd "you just have to wait a little while longer. Demonstrate some patience and self discipline." The Uchiha dropped his arm "fine."

Ruby finished healing his hand. Takeshi clenched and unclenched his fingers testing it out. Everything seemed to be in working order. "Take this" Ruby handed him a round orb "It is for blood loss." Takeshi took it and ate it. It was bitter and he made a face, while Ruby went about bandaging up the fresh wounds.

"Don't chase them down" Takeshi finally said "It is likely a trap, and I'm not falling for another one. We need to do something they don't expect. Throw them off guard."

"They're gone," Xsavior said.

"Don't expect? Like doing the hula?" Ryu suggested. "Or something with a bit more tactical advantage?"

Ratchet shook his head from a headache. It was weird, the random headaches must mean something... And what the hell was that lark on about? He ignored it for now, but it was still bugging him.
"Should we continue towards the generator, or take a break?" He asked.
Clank soon returned with the nanotech, "here, kept some in your inventory as well. It seems we might run into more trouble at any second."
"Thanks," Ratchet replied. After healing himself, he stood up and awaited for the others to answer.

"Take a break. Everyone has done fighting, and some of us are injured. I start to well, fade if I am away from my dimension for too long, as the paint there supplies me. We should ARGGG!!" Oswald said, collapsing to the ground.

"Oswald?" Xsavior asked, trying to sit him up.

"It's the paint supply......something is draining it in my dimension.....don't worry, I will be fine. This shows the larks are somehow evolving."

Xsavior helped Oswald up. "Why does your dimension rely on paint?"

It was weird seeing Ruby serious about something. She usually was really happy-go-lucky, which many miss placed as folly, but the Uchiha knew better than that. Unlike him, Ruby was a college student. She was studying not only medicine but psychology. His polar opposite, really. She wanted to help people, he didn't need his sharingan to see that. Takeshi on the other wanted to hurt people. After all, he truly believed that some men are better off dead.

"we can we have pie?" Takeshi blurted out.

"Pie?" Ratchet repeated, "where are we going to find pie around here?"
"There's some on my ship!" Qwark exclaimed happily.
"What the... I thought you left?"
"Well, I found that we can't leave the planet..."
"What do you mean?"
"There's an invisible barrier sirrounding the planet."
Ratchet thought about this, "oh well, it's not like we're leaving anyway."

Dalados walked over to Oswald,"I know how to make paint,that help?"

Takeshi, strangely enough, let out a laugh. It wasn't spiteful, or even evil, more childish than anything. "No, no no." He exclaimed "Ruby makes the meanest pies. We had an apple pie before my last official mission with Alexander and it was so sweet I thought I was going to lose my teeth."

Ruby began to ponder at the Uchiha's change in attitude. The mind transmission technique helped her pick up on his emotions more than the others. Takeshi had a really good poker face. Before hand, when she first arrived, it was mainly anger. It often became more intense during combat but it was very focused and used almost like a weapon rather than him letting the emotion control him.

But lately she had picking up worry, even fear. Anger seems to have dissipated a little, which would explain why he is lacking in combat skills lately. He doesn't have the fuel or the focus. Psychology plays a lot into combat. Whether it be arrogance, humility, fear, anger, even joy. Every little emotion and mentality played into the outcome of a battle.

"Err... Is that really Takeshi?" Ratchet whispered to Ruby, "he seems a little... Different."

"Rachet, has he gone.....loopy?"

The lombax shrugged, "looks that way... No offence..."

"You obviously never tried pie before then, friend" the Uchiha said with a smirk.

"Uhh..it is okay?"

"Obviously not..." He sighed, "how would you make this pie anyway, we are in the middle of a forest!"

"well with an oven of course" the Uchiha joked. It was strange for sure that he was acting cheerful for once, but it was nice for Ruby to see the old Takeshi come back.

"Ok, so here is the game plane" Takeshi said "we need to find a kitchen. I bet that's the larks' plan, they're going to turn our universes into stew. So we bake them a pie and put a potion it. It will turn the larks to fleas, we will have those fleas delivered to us and then WE WILL SMASH THEM WITH A HAMMER!"

Eva-01 threw a pie "Here is your order."

"Well…they won't expect it…" Ryu mumbled. "But I don't think they have any ovens here…"

"Well, i suppose the plan could work... but ovens would be ridiculously hard to come by on this place from the looks of its terrain, seems mostly deserted."

"I'm not a fan of fleas..." Ratchet said flatly, "but, I'm pretty sure Qwark's ship has an inbuilt kitchen."

Eva-01 opened his chest

"I have one."

"Please no Eva , that is slightly disturbing, even if you are a robot." said Dalados.

"Well, I'm going to do some shooting practice..." Ratchet said.

"Is there a range around here or are you just going to be shooting at asteroids?" asked Dalados

"Asteroids live in space... However leviathans live down here. I'm going to take down some leviathans. Wanna come?" Ratchet replied.

Godzilla raised his hand.

//Is it just me or is this going really slow?

(( I know, it's really weird :/ I guess it's because we're at a standstill and Sandman has proposed pies ))

"Alright, there's bound to be a few over there," he said gesturing to a swamp area.

"I say we make a plan to fight these guys," Ryu suggested. "Seems like the only good thing to do right now."

Godzilla swam in the swamp.

"We could fight our way there, staying together as a group," Ratchet suggested before throwing a grenade into an area in the swamp. It seemed to disturb the leviathan and it flew into the area.
"Cool, now I can shoot something."

Godzilla blasted it.

The creature roared in angler and charged at Godzilla. Ratchet used his buzz blades to distract it.

Godzilla bit it by its tail and threw it.

The leviathan screeched and shot an energy blast at Godzilla.

Godzilla tanked it and went into its mouth and pulled out it's heart.

The creature dropped to the ground dead.
"Nice!" Ratchet said as he collected the raritanium it dropped.

Godzilla smiled.

"I can kill more."

"Well, I think we should start killing more larks now."

Godzilla was ready.

"I would hate to do the same thing we have been doing" Takeshi said becoming more serious "But it seems with all the weird plays we have done it would be most appropriate to do what we started with."

Ruby chimed in "how many more dimensions do we have left anyways?"
