Magi responded by both creating a shield, and throwing a magical spear made of water at the serpent.

The spear caught the snake right in the mouth, steam rising out of its throat as it recoiled, hissing in pain.

Magi laughed maniacally as he pulled a large rock out of the ground and hurled it at the snake.

After hacking up a few chunks of igneous rock, the serpent clamped its jaws onto the rock hurled at it, incinerating it as lava dripped from its maw.

[Super busy day today. I'm posting this just before bed, so good night.]

Magi responded by hurling several more rocks at it.
"When in doubt, just add more!"

The snake greedily snapped up rock after rock, each only seeming to make it larger. One did manage to get past its hungry jaws and slice it in half...

Magi formed several more water spears and sent them to attack.

[TOPICUS RESSURECTUS!]

The dreaded water was too much for the serpent, and it hardened to stone as it was pushed past its limits.

Meanwhile, Blister managed to free one of his floating, disembodied hands and struck his binds with great force with his hatchet.

The earth hand released Blister and retreated into the ground.

Free from his restraints, Blister launched a direct assault at Magi with his axe at the ready.

Magi formed a shadowy sword made of pure magic and waited.

OOC: Do you think you'd try to get icedragon back in here?

A set of four fiery missiles soared along with Blister as he rushed Magi.

Magi abruptly fired an ice beam at Blister.

Blister blocked with his diamond blade in an attempt to refract the beam. Meanwhile, one of the homing flares was deployed with a loud screech.

Magi countered the homing flare by sending a magical sphere of water to block it.

The flare exploded like a Roman candle.

Blister executed a downward swing at Magi.

Magi blocked Blister's attack with his sword, and at the same time, he formed and shot an ice sphere at Blister.

The ice ball took a great impact, especially at point-blank range. Weakened, Blister summoned from the ground and doused himself in a jet of crude oil, then proceeded to try to soak Magi with it.

Magi simply teleported out of the way, snickering.

Blister sent more homing flares at Magi.

Magi brought up a shield and countered with more ice spheres.

Blister flung his hatchet and it spun in the air as it headed for Magi.

The hatchet struck Magi's leg as he tried to dodge, though it only made him laugh.

He raised one eyebrow and smirked. "So, you enjoy pain, do you? Well, here! Have some more!"

The sky reddened as the clouds rolled in, a rain of fire falling from the heavens.



"Well, glad that's over with." Shaydes stood and continued down the left hallway, not bothering to see if anyone followed.

[I'll see if I can get Prex and AR back in.]

Magi formed a water shield, then fired a pair of water beams at Blister.

((Where can I join back in? ))

OOC: With Pit, maybe? He was with Shaydes and Fluttershy.

((Ok, If I remember correctly, Didn't Pit have a broken leg before...?))

OOC: Don't remember, honestly.

[This is starting to get tricky. Might have to pull even more stuff outta my ass.]

Blister countered by forming an oil barrier around himself. He refrained from attacking... for now.

Magi began to assail Blister with bolts of lightning.

Astonishingly, Blister barely even seemed fazed by the lightning. If anything, it only seemed to rile him up more.

[Now that I'm on summer break, unless I say otherwise, my only excuse for not posting is my own laziness.]

Magi then attacked Blister with an explosion of large ice crystals.

The area was splattered in crude oil, and Blister followed with yet another fiery burst, now burning blue with heat.

Magi countered with another water spell, bringing a virtual waterfall down.

((Hm, I think I might restart in this RP, Whats going on right now in this RP?)

OOC: It's mainly Blister and Magi fighting here, right now, though there are the characters in the Tower still.

A slight solar disturbance occured as Blister gestured contemplatively to the skies above.

Magi looked at Blister mockingly, waiting.

It is said that those who doth touch the sun will be cleansed, and then there shalt be peace.

Blister adopts an ethereal white glow as he channels the sun's strength, accompanied by a choir of angelic voices, and without warning, unleashed a persistent solid pair of golden sunrays from his eyes, and focused this unstoppable force of nature on Magi in hopes of eliminating him once and for all.

Magi was abruptly gone. There was nothing to indicate whether he had been destroyed, or simply teleported away.

OOC: Maybe you should have Shaydes show up where Phantom is or something...

With no sign of Magi, Blister descended back to the earth, but remained on edge. A ray of healing sunlight revived Foxtail, who was still unconscious.

"Ugh... Blister? What happened? Did ya get 'im?"
"Possibly so, but he could be deceiving us. Stay on guard."

After this, he made an announcement. "Now you see what I am capable of. Do you still dare challenge me?" This threat was directed at Cadence, assuming she was still relevant, and he left this threat open as he retrieved his hatchet.



"I'm back, reporting for duty, sir!" Shaydes appeared next to Phantom.

'Hahahaha!' Magi's voice came out of nowhere. 'You're really quite so entertaining! But I've got other tasks to see to, so bye-bye!'



"Anything happen?" Phantom asked.

"Oh, I got some third degree burns, but nothing too major." Shaydes spoke as if it was nothing, like a slap on the wrist. "A pony girl saved me... Fluttershy, I believe she called herself. I don't know if she'll be joining us."

[Aaaand now I've got nothing for Foxtail and Blister to do.]

"I see. I suppose there's no point in waiting any longer." Phantom turned to the great door in front of them.

Shaydes awaited further action from Phantom.

Phantom used his blade to cut a path through the door.

"Shall we?" Shaydes offered at the sight of the newly-cut passage.

"Yes," Phantom said. He entered the new passage.

OOC: Next is the reactor room.

Shaydes followed, not sure what to expect. Other than the obvious, that is.
