Shadow looked at Nightmare with pity.

Matilda narrowed her eyes.
"I'm not going to storytell it to everyone. Only the people I truly trust." she said. She was looking at Shadow. "But I guess I can tell it to you. Just not when everyone else is here."

He walked out of the hideout, signaling Matilda to come with him

"Nightmare" then looked back at shadow angrily
"Stop with the pity act" he snapped as his eyes turned a purplish hue again

Shadow looked up at Matilda.

Matilda followed Marik.

He sat on a nearby rock
"Well," he stated

Matilda took a breath.
"I live in a kingdom that constantly fought to keep its rein. I grew up around blood and fighting. In the midst of battle, when I was five, my dad threw these two daggers into my hands, and shoved me into battle. Some soldiers beat me up, so my dad called me a disgrace and left me there. That was when I transformed into a cold, dark side. It took me over and I stood and took down many soldiers. I caused the enemy to retreat. I was used as a weapon, a last resort in every battle until the day our kingdom was burned down by the enemy. Everyone in my kingdom was killed except for me and a golden hound named London Spark, who saved me. I was the only survivor." Matilda finished.

He looked down as he started to uncontrollably change back

Nightmare looked at everyone in the room

Shadow sat down.

Nightmare then gazed at shadow again

"May you release me?" He asked him

"I don't see why not." Shadow said shrugging.

"Take these daggers out of my clothing." He demanded

Shadow slowly removed the daggers.

When he pulled out the one that was in his arm, he moaned in pain

"Sorry about that." Shadow said

Matilda sighed.
"Now I can just morph into that cold dark side whenever I want."

Lucio frowned.
"If he tries to hurt you Shadow, I'll call Matilda again." He said.

"I don't think he will." Shadow said.

Shana gently elbowed Lucio.
"Shadow can protect himself." She said defensively.

Shadow finally finished pulling out all the daggers.

Lucio looked at her.
"Alright. I trust you."

Shadow looked around then sat down.

Twilight sat beside Shadow.

Shana yawned and laid her head on Lucio's shoulder, partially asleep.

Shadow tried not to laugh w hen he saw Shana.

Twilight noticed Shadow trying not to laugh and she looked to see Shana. She smiled.
"Shana, he's not a headrest." she chuckled.

"Huh?" Shana blinked and realized she was resting her head on Lucio's shoulder. She quickly blushed and looked away.

Lucio smiled and Twilight burst out laughing.

"If you're tired, I don't mind. You can lay your head on my shoulder." said Lucio.

Shadow chuckled.

Shana blushed more and laid her head on Lucio's shoulder. She fell asleep.

"Goodness. I thought she was going to hit me for offering." Lucio said in surprise.

"Same here." Shadow said.

"I was thinking about it." replied Shana, blinking her amber eyes.

Shadow smiled.

Shana looked at him.
"What?" she asked.

"Nothing."he said shaking his head

"Alright. If that's what you say." said Shana.

Shadow got up and began to walk around the room.

Twilight watched Shadow until he made her dizzy.

Lucio had drifted off and was leaned against the bookcase.

Shana still slept on Lucio's shoulder.

Shadow sighed at sat down.

London Spark was curled in a ball on the floor, snoozing.

Twilight smiled at Shadow.
"Done making everyone dizzy?" she teased.

"Yeah." Shadow said smiling.

Twilight smiled.

London barked in fright in his sleep and he was kicking frantically.

Shadow looked at London Spark slowly walked around him.

London Spark kicked hard and far with a leg, tripping Shadow.

Shadow fell hard "ouch." He muttered.

London shot awake and saw Shadow.
"Terribly sorry. Did I trip you?" he asked, wide eyed.

"Yeah." Shadow said getting up.

"I'm sorry. Nightmares of the past." London growled.

"It's alright." Shadow said.

London Spark nodded and laid his head on his paws.

Shadow sat down on the floor.

Shana yawned and woke up. She noticed that Lucio was using the hard bookcase as a headrest. Feeling some sympathy, she shifted him so he was using her shoulder as a headrest.

Shadow yawned.

Lucio woke to find that he was using Shana's shoulder as a headrest, blushing, he sat up and looked away.
"S-sorry." he stuttered.

Shana smiled.
"I shifted you so you were using my shoulder. Don't apologize." she said with a laugh.
