Ria gave a tiny nod toward Lyra. "Sure! We were just talking about what we wanna do tomorrow." she said to Fyre. "I figured exploring would be fun, and Lyra was describing Lofty Castle to me."

Ria smiled at the thought. "I like that idea! I can show you all my favorite spots where me and Skyer played when we were little!"

"Maybe after we could head off somewhere else. I guess I haven't really explored much lately." Ria said giddily.

Ria nodded. "That would be great!"

"Sounds like a great plan!" Ria said, becoming more and more excited.

Ria yawned. "Yeah, I guess I should let you guys get back to sleep anyhow." she said, rising from the grass. "I suppose I'll go track down Lucien and try to get him to sleep or something."

Ria smiled at the two before trotting quietly off to find Lucien.

OOC: Lucien is in a frozen conversation with Cyndergirl's chars. I believe they were talking about the dark portal thing that popped up twice, but then again, I think we lost a player.

"It'll be fine, you still have the rest of your life ahead of you, and I mine. There is plenty of time to learn new things, and spend time with others." he looked out over the trees at the mountains that cradled the sun in one of the valleys.

Finally with it's wealth of items to sell or trade it could use those dragons as a source of income, It transferred into a black mist and used that form to travel around but first up, that dragon was still full of dark taint, so much it was making his mouth water with hunger.

It set off in the direction but it had a hunch it could be tracked, nah only dark sensitive entities could track those and there was none it knew around here

Logan sat up and looked up at Lucien, "That prett much how it happened, we both got seperated and then yeah. I'm just glad we're back together."

"Glad to see. Now I think it's about time we all found a place for tonight's rest. The sun will be gone in mear minutes." Lucien added(finally feels good to use him again.=Haven't used him is so long).

"We all can't be prepared for everything... Ok, enough with this past stuff. What are your plans now that you've found your long lost sister?" Skyer asked

Casia blinked. "I'm not entirely sure. I was hoping to find her earlier, when she was younger, y'know? But I mean, right now she seems to be in a pretty deep relationship with Lucien, they could be planning long-term, like for a family right now for all I know. I kinda feel bad for crashing into her life at such an important time."

Ria came around a tree and saw Lucien with Logan. "There you are!" Ria said with a smile as she trotted over to him. "I was looking for you."

Dark Aretis was off checking some of the houses. Unfortunately he didn't find anything, so instead he took some gems from the treasury and put them in a sack.

Aretis found Starz. "I'm going to the dragon market for some supplies. Be right back!" He said and then quickly flew off.

Ria blinked in surprise. Oh hey, Starz!

In it's black mist state it was clearly visible, in the distance it noticed a dragon flying towards it. A small noise sounding like thunder emitted from the smokey form as it didn't have time for this but there was no viable course of action other then to hope the dragon ignores hims.

It would most likely be seen...with it near a market full of life there was no doubt someone was alerted to his presence, maybe it should of done the job on foot.

Party? Sweet! I'll let the others know in the morning, then I'll reply back to you to letcha know who can come! Ria responded with a wolfish grin.

Dark Aretis blinked, his head sharply turning like an eagle's to look at the black mist. He stared at it for a few seconds as if deciding whether to ignore it and continue or investigate further. He chose the first, because as curious as that thing was, Aretis had errands to run and could not afford to waste time.

Lucien smiled to her, "You were? I've been here chatting with a new comer of the area. Amber seems to know him quite well."

Skyer sat up a little, "I don't see why you would, it's not like she could be mad at you. Sure you're new to her, but she is very open. You should just talk to her, a little sister sister bonding."

Ria quickly cut the communication line with Starz and looked back at Lucien, and squinted at Logan for a moment. "Oh hey, Logan! We met awhile back, I'm a good friend of Ambers!" she said, hoping Logan would remember her. They had only met once after all.

Casia smiled at Skyer. "You know what, you're right! First thing tomorrow morning, I'll ask her if she can show me a few things she knows."

"Let it be settled then, Casia the young, red, dragoness will spend a day with her big sister, Ria." Sker pronounced to an invisible crowd. "Ooo, something she often doesn't mention, her true name is actually Aethra, but she's been Ria for as long as I can remember."

Finally it was a good distance away from the market and even better the dragon had totally ignored him, touching on the ground it shaped back to it's true form. The land had hidden supplies of raw dark taint and all he had to do was harvest it. Of course balance would be upset and the land might suffer but he didn't care.

He began to pour out am unknown power from himself that latched onto the spots he had marked for harvesting, as this happened he used his tail which had a strange metal armor attached to it to act like a pickaxe as he dug into the ground.

The darkness was slowly draining and now a minor in-balance was sure to erupt, the first sign was a oil tar like liquid started to soak the ground like a sponge with water. He was polluting the land for his own selfish gain.

Aretis sensed something was not quite right, but thought it was naught but his imagination. But the smell...something smelled really wrong here. Anyway, he bought a few books on everything sweet and delightful, bought a ton of sugar, cool whip, candy, honey, molasses, and whatever else he needed. It was a simple matter, though took quite an amount of energy to convert it all into light energy and store it away so he could convert it back to matter later, but he made his way out and opened his wings to fly away.

"Tell me you don't feel the darkness grow. You can't rid this world of hate and greed, it is impossible to stop the energies of the evil. Shadows will rain on this world, many will fall to what you call an innocence death. Blood will be the alternative for water, ashes will replace snow, and all things good will seize to exist. Soon this pool of madness with shows the land, then the sky will fall into eternal slumber. The predators of the night will crawl, never rest, never stop until their hunger is satisfied. And when it all seems hopeless, the fun will begin." Gray took control of Lucien. In this time he was struggling to stand, wobbling to each side, and finally hit the ground.

Casia smiled. "Thanks for the tip." she said to Skyer.

Ria had been waiting for a response from Logan, but whipped her head to look at Lucien in shock. "Oh my god!" she cried, running over to him. "Are you okay?!"

His eyes were alternating between grey fires and crystal blue spheres. "It's Gray, his power is growing. A large dump of dark power is spreading... I can hold him, just give me some time to restrain him."

"Pitiful, just embarrassing. You don't understand the vast power of darkness." Gray cut in, "Nothing you do will keep us away... The more is spreads, the more I drink in. This world will be mine, this time... You... Will, not... Win!"

His eyes turned gold before Gray could say more, "You will never touch the soil of this planet again. You are nothing more than a parasite. Why he chooses to keep you, I do not know." his more adult voice said, just as he sat up. Breathing heavily, his eyes turned to crystal blue spheres.

"I... He is right..." Lucien looked over to Ria, "We aren't finished with the shadows of the realms(ha, similar to the name of the series), and I think I know who it is this time."

With a childish smile, "No problem." Feeling a strong presence, "Is that... Gray? How?"

Ria stared at Lucien, afraid for him. "Lucien, we need to rest right now. It's late, and there really isn't anything we can do until morning." she said. Then she narrowed her eyes. "Grey, I swear, I will find a way to pull you out of Lucien and rip you in half."

"Grey?" Casia asked.

Dark Aretis blinked realizing that Ria and Lucien's location was in the vicinity dragon market he went to. Aretis shrugged and decided to pay a short visit to them. It'd be fun. Or so he thought.

Amber was watching what happened


Before Logan could answer, that had happened. He looked at Lucien then back at Ria "Yes I remember you. It's nice to see you again, but I think we should get Lucien somewhere safe."

"You may not be able to do anything because of the night, but I don't have to sleep as much as you all. If we sleep now, we will wake up in the black morning." Lucien stood, "Someone has to stall these proceedings, and if my friends are un able to defend themselves, then I must." his wings shot up quickly ready to leave.(pausing the moment so he doesn't just up and disappear)

Skyer turned to Casia, "Gray is some sort of ancient evil that has latched itself to Lucien. I think he once told me that if they are separated, he could die. I think it has happened before, when I found him laying still in an old structure. I thought something was wrong when I found him without evil. That amulet he tried to get, which I helped him receive, brought him back somehow." Skyer explained, "But Gray was removd by the light blast from Starz, about four years ago... I don't know, the years have run together."

The Plant life and tree's were dying or withered, the water replaced by black tar goo like substance and the ground was turning black as Drenyz mined the land for delicious resources. It was the way his kind were, they fed off darkness to gain power and strength and maintain dominance in the shadow realm.

In truth they watched over world's, keeping darkness in check and removing all traces of it no matter the cost or risk. They traveled to many different realms making sure the dark taint never got out or was abused by other races who take the power without thinking, only some outside his race could not let the power go to their head and he was shocked to recall those two dragons he had met earlier resisted it for so long

Regardless it took a small amount of dark taint recently unearthed from it's mining and devoured it.

OOC: It's a small radius his in, 1 meter circle and even then the land in the radius is slowly dying, The entire land isn't dead nor is the plant life being killed off. I should of stated that in detail more and I'm sorry but honestly if you have a problem with a tiny as hell patch of land slowly being corrupted then I'll leave

ooc: agreed with SW (actually, can I still call you lems?). An you said "trees" implying plural, and implying that it was probably much larger than a 1 meter circle. When I read that post, it made me think you were like, leveling a forest of this black goop or whatever. But yeah, if you have some big plot twist or whatever, (which looks like you're about to make some sort of grand entrance or something, just saying) you should probably at least PM the Game Master of this roleplay.

OOC: Nah I wouldn't do something like that without permission or giving a hint, besides I should of said foliage rather then tree's. I was in a rush at the time.
